ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN AIR BERSIH (Studi Kasus Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Kota Sukabumi)
ANALYSIS OF CLEAN WATER NEEDS (Case Study of Regional Drinking Water Company in Sukabumi City). Muhammad Rizky. 1630121002.
Indonesia is an archipelagic country, so it can be said that the availability of water, especially clean water, is very abundant, but in fact there are some areas that are still difficult to get clean water. The purpose of this water demand analysis is to calculate how much water flow must be provided by the PDAM in order to meet the water needs of the Sukabumi city community, the benefits of this research are expected to be a reference in water supply for the next ten years and increase public awareness to be wiser in use water. This research method is descriptive type or is a method of researching an event in the present, the purpose of this descriptive research is to make a description, a systematic, factual and accurate description of the facts, so that time series forecasting methods are used including arithmetic, geometric, regression, moving average and exponential smoothing method. The results of the analysis show that the water discharge has decreased, while the demand for water has increased so it is necessary to add potential water sources. The results of the moving average and exponential smoothing method are known that the error value or error rate in this study is on average less than 10% so that the forecasting model carried out can be considered very good
Utilization of Rainwater Potential as an Alternative for Water Supply in the Siosar Area of Mount Sinabung Refugees
Research on the potential use of rainwater as an alternative to water supply in
the Siosar relocation area is based on the background because the area is one of the
areas designated by the government as a place to live for people affected by the eruption
of Mount Sinabung. The existence of the community in the Siosar Relocation Area which
is inhabited by the community has many impacts that affect their lives, especially on the
side of water resources, namely the use of rainwater. Based on this, this study aims to
analyze the potential for rainwater in the area to determine whether the availability of
water sourced from rainwater can meet the needs of residents. The method used in this
research is the method of comparison of water availability obtained from the calculation
of the rain harvest using the F.J. method Mock where the water is stored in the existing
ABSAH (Artificial Aquifer for Rainwater Savings) building which is compared to the
residents' water needs which are used for watering the residents' gardens. The selected
rainfall is the mainstay rainfall in 2016. Then the volume of rain harvest is compared
with the volume of the existing ABSAH and the volume of water needs of the residents.
The results of the analysis of the availability and demand of water for residents of the
Siosar Relocation Area obtained the results in the form of, the volume of water
availability from rainwater harvesting accommodated in ABSAH buildings (VABSAH)
43,472 M3 is greater than the volume of water needs of residents for parks (VTAMAN) 7,500
M3 or it can be said that VSUPPLY > VDEMAND. Residents' needs for watering the garden are
still well met from the potential results of rain harvests in the area
Motivasi Mahasiswa Dalam Memilih Tourism Sebagai Mata Kuliah Peminatan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris
Covid-19 pandemic impacts to the government's policies in the tourism, namely the tourism restrictions that affect Tourism class to eliminate direct practice in the field. However, the Tourism class is still in demand by the students of English Language Education Islamic State University Raden Mas Said Surakarta until it is divided into two classes. This study aims to determine the motivation of English Language Education students in choosing Tourism as elective course at the fifth semester during the Covid-19 pandemic, though this elective course is no longer offered for the class of 2020. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research data was collected through interview, observation and documentation. The research used a purposive sampling technique, namely four students of fifth semester of the English Language Education who took Tourism class. The results showed that the motivation of English Language Education students in the fifth semester in choosing Tourism as elective course was divided into two, namely (a) intrinsic motivation, including desire, the needs of learning, interest in the field of Tourism, expectation, self-development, responsibility in completing tasks, cognitive needs, and goal setting and (b) extrinsic motivation, including the encouragement of others, a conducive environment, interesting learning activities, and hygiene factors
DOOM SPENDING AMONG GENERATION Z: AN ANALYSIS OF IMPULSIVE BUYING BEHAVIOR ON E-COMMERCE PLATFORMS
The development of digital technology and the rapid use of e-commerce platforms have driven changes in consumption behavior, especially among Generation Z. One of the emerging phenomena is doom spending, which refers to consumption driven by emotional pressure or stress. This study aims to examine the effect of hedonic shopping motivation, social influence, and perceived ease of use of e-commerce platforms on impulsive buying among Generation Z. This research employed a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique, involving 269 respondents. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3. The findings indicate that hedonic shopping motivation and social influence exert a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying, whereas perceived ease of use does not significantly affect impulsive buying behavior. These results highlight that emotional gratification and social pressures are the primary triggers of impulsive buying among Generation Z rather than the perceived simplicity of the platform. This study contributes to the growing discourse on digital consumer behavior by providing empirical evidence on the drivers of doom spending in the Indonesian Gen Z context, offering insights that can inform e-commerce platform strategies and consumer well-being intervention
Malacocincla perspicillata Bonaparte
No Asian bird has been missing for as long as Indonesia’s Black-browed Babbler Malacocincla perspicillata (Butchart et al. 2005). Classified as Data Deficient in the IUCN Red List (BirdLife International 2020), the disappearance of this species from the ornithological radar was not helped by the fact that only one specimenprocured between 1843 and 1848—was ever collected, and the holotype was never clearly linked to a specific type locality. Evaluating the evidence to hand, Mees (1995) assumed that the type locality was likely to have been near Martapoera [Martapura] or Bandjermasin [Banjarmasin] in present-day South Kalimantan province, Indonesian Borneo, where the species has been mapped ever since (Myers 2009, Phillipps & Phillipps 2011, Eaton et al. 2016). On 5 October 2020, we observed a live specimen of the Black-browed Babbler in south-east Kalimantan, the first sighting of this species for 170 years (Plate 1). The bird was obtained by two local residents (MS, MRF) after being observed several times during their daily visits to the forest. Based on photographs taken of the bird during its temporary captivity (before its eventual release back into the wild), we took detailed notes. We were also able to make comparisons with the type specimen which is now deposited at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Netherlands, and available online (through Oriental Bird Images at http:// orientalbirdimages.org /search.php? Bird _ ID=1428&Bird_Image_ID=28450). The bird had a stout appearance, with a relatively short tail and a robust bill consistent with the holotype (Plate 2). The upperparts were rich brown, while the underparts up to the breast were greyish with fine white streaking. The facial appearance of the bird was very distinct, with the crown being chestnut-brown, demarcated by a broad, black eye-stripe extending across the malars to the nape and necksides (see also Eaton et al. 2016). The irides were deep red and unlike the holotype, which has been given artificial yellowish eyes. The legs were dark slate-grey, not brownish as illustrated in Eaton et al. (2016). The individual we observed was very d ist inct, a nd un like a ny ot her species of Malacopteron or Malacocincla babbler on Borneo, which we are familiar with through our fieldwork in the Greater Sundas. The bird was safely released in the original place it was captured. We conclude that our discovery represents the first ever documentation of the ‘lost’ Black-browed Babbler in over 170 years, the longest known ‘missing period’ for any Asian species (Butchart et al. 2005). We are now in the process of preparing a more detailed manuscript documenting our discovery, and expect this to be published in the coming months.Published as part of Akbar, Panji Gusti, Nugroho, Teguh Willy, Suranto, Muhammad, Fauzan, Muhammad Rizky, Ferdiansyah, Oddy, Trisiyanto, Joko Said & Yong, Ding Li, 2020, Missing for 170 years-the rediscovery of Black-browed Babbler Malacocincla perspicillata on Borneo, pp. 13-14 in BirdingASIA 34 on pages 13-14, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.456222
The Importance in Providing Country of Origin Information on E-Commerce Platforms to Fulfill Consumer Rights in Indonesia
One of the threats of using the e-commerce system in Indonesian business sectors are the lack of goods and/or services information provided in the e-commerce platform, especially the country of origin information. The general standard of information that should be provided to consumers includes price, quality, and other information that can help consumers decide what to buy according to their needs and the quality of goods. The purpose of this study is to identify the importance of country of origin information in e-commerce platform based on consumer’s view. We used juridical-empirical research to find out how the implementation of a regulation. The primary sources were collected by observation method to the e-commerce platforms and survey method to the e-commerce customers. Based on theories and results, we conclude that country of origin information is important and should be provided by the merchants in the e-commerce platform. Providing country of origin information in e-commerce platform may benefit consumers and also may benefit e-commerce providers and merchants. The government needs to issue a new regulation to make e-commerce providers obligated to provide country of origin information for all of the products that their merchant sold. We also suggest the e-commerce providers to voluntarily and consciously requiring merchants selling on the platform to include country of origin information

Measurement of Student Satisfaction Level of Service Quality in University of Medan Area Undergraduate Program
Selisih antara persepsi dengan harapan disebut dengan “gap” atau kesenjangan kualitas layanan, yang artikan sebagai berikut: Jika gap positif (persepsi > harapan ) maka layanan dikatakan memuaskan, Jika gap nol (persepsi = harapan) maka layanan dikatakan berkualitas dan memuaskan, Jika gap negatif (persepsi expectation) then the service is said to be satisfactory, If the gap is zero (perception = expectation) then the service is said to be of high quality and satisfactory, If the gap is zero (perception = expectation) then the service is said to be of high quality and satisfactory. negative (perception < expectation) then the service is said to be unsatisfactory. This model analyzes the gap between two main variables, namely the expected service and the perceived service. Measurement of service quality in the servqual model is based on a multi-item scale to measure expectations and perceptions as well as the gap between them in the main dimensions of service quality. The main problem of this study is to determine the level of student satisfaction with service quality at the Medan Area University undergraduate program. The purpose of this research is to know the level of student satisfaction by using the Fuzzy Service Quality method. Want to know the gap between students by using the Fuzzy Service Quality method (tangible reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy). The research was conducted using the fuzzy method. The results achieved are the level of student satisfaction at the University of Medan Area, the lowest score is -28.74 with the question of the suitability of facilities with tuition fees and the highest value is -14.68 religious facilities that can be used by students at UMA and the gap value can be seen in students. Medan Area University, all of which are negative
BEYOND THE SCREEN: THE RETCONNING OF BLACK CHARACTERS IN POPULAR CULTURE MOVIES THROUGH THE LENS OF BLACKWASHING
The portrayal and adaptation of characters in movies often reflect societal norms and values, with "blackwashing" emerging as a significant phenomenon. Blackwashing refers to casting black actors in roles traditionally portrayed by white characters, often as part of efforts to promote representation and address historical inequalities. This study explores the types of retroactive continuity (retcon) found in black characters within popular culture films through the perspective of blackwashing. The research employs Hutcheon’s (2013) adaptation theory, which conceptualizes adaptation as creative reinterpretation rather than mere replication, alongside Friedenthal’s (2017) retcon framework and Genette’s (1997) qualitative transformation theory for supplementary analysis. Using a qualitative approach, the study applies the documentation method for data collection and Spradley’s (2016) analysis technique. Seven adapted films (hypertexts) are compared to their original works (hypotexts), revealing three distinct types of retcon: reinterpretation, reinscription, and revision. These findings demonstrate how adaptation practices not only reshape narratives but also challenge traditional representations to align with evolving social values. The findings highlight how adaptation practices reshape narratives to address historical inequalities and enrich representation in media. This research contributes to the understanding of blackwashing as a tool for inclusivity and social progress in film adaptation. Future studies are recommended to explore blackwashing across diverse cultural contexts and genres to deepen insights into its impact on global representation and audience reception
