The life of Nasir ud Din Muhammad Humayun : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)
When a general history is written about the beginnings of the Mughal empire, the reign of Nasir ud Din Muhammad Humayun is usually neglected. In fact, his rule proves to be an enigma --- was he a success or a failure? Many scholars argue that he was an utter failure and the only merit they see in him was the fortuitous siring Jalal ud Din Muhammad Akbar, the greatest of all Muahal emperors. This, however, is an unfair assessment. Not only was Humayun a kind and generous man, but he was also important because he developd stronger Indo-Persian contacts and reestablished the empire from which Akbar began his career. This paper provides a general historyNasir ud Din Muhammad Humayun and his role in the development of the Mughal empire during the sixteenth century. Along with the general history is provided a discussion of several aspects of Humayun’s life. This includes his relationship to those around him. his religious beliefs, leadership abilities. and personal character. Also examined is the role which fate played in Humayun's life.Thesis (B.?.)Honors Colleg
The Image of Humayun in Historical Sources
Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur's historical-memoir "Boburnoma" is widely studied in Uzbek literature. However, the historical work "Humoyunnoma", created by Bobur's daughter Gulbadanbegim as a figurative continuation of "Boburnoma" dedicated to her brother Humoyun Mirzo, is rarely studied in Uzbek literature, as well as in world literature. Famous historians, historians and poets of his time have written many works about the life and work of Humayun Mirza. This article details how Nasiruddin Muhammad Humayun's personality has been interpreted in some historical sources
Humayun Kabir, Men and Rivers, and Faridpur
In the history of South Asian literature in English, Men and Rivers is the third fictional work written by a Muslim author after Rokeya's Sultana's Dream and Ahmed Ali's Twilight in Delhi (1940). Men and Rivers is a literary work of great merit though more research needs to be conducted on the work to appreciate its value by examining various thematic and stylistic features. Through Men and Rivers, Hamayun Kabir conferred on Faridpur literary immortality. I believe the novel will continue to make the district memorable and special to its readers for a very long time
Incremental Learning Through Fusion of Discrete Anomaly Models from Odometry Signals in Autonomous Agent Navigation
This paper presents a dynamic data-driven approach for efficient anomaly detection, extraction, and fusion of multiple heterogeneous anomaly models in a generative fashion. First, we propose an adaptive Bayesian filtering technique based on a combination of Null force hypothesis and Particle filtering to accurately track the trajectories of normal and abnormal cases. We then analyze the generalized vectors and clusters generated from adaptive filtering and sequential clustering procedures to effectively detect areas with high abnormalities. To achieve this, we use probabilistic distance measurements. Finally, to increase the agent's vocabulary, we fuse different anomaly distributions to generate coupled anomaly models that allow the agent to have incremental learning capabilities. Our approach is completely data-driven and does not require any previous knowledge of the data or the environment. We show that our proposed method can effectively detect anomalies using low-dimensional odometry data and can eventually improve itself over time through iterative generation of fused anomaly models
News Coverage of Athlete Activism
This multi-method qualitative research project sets out to understand the cultural and political influences on sports news coverage, specifically sports news of athletes' activism on and off the field. The purpose is to understand how sports journalists cover athlete activism within the larger political and cultural landscape of the era in which the athlete activism took place. Specifically, this research project employed the Hierarchy of Influences theory to analyze the cultural and political influences on news coverage of arguably six of the most significant instances of athlete activism in the U.S. sports stratosphere namely: Muhammad Ali's boycott of the Vietnam War, Tommie Smith's Black Power Salute, Billie Jean King's establishment of Women's Tennis and her participation in the Battle of Sexes, Venus William's efforts for equal prize money at the Wimbledon, Lebron James Tweets in the support of Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner and Colin Kaepernick sitting out the national anthem. The author first conducted a first cycle of textual analysis of news articles and Television broadcasts (in the case of some athletes) that reported the activism of Muhammad Ali, Tommie Smith, Billie Jean King, Venus Williams, Lebron James and Colin Kaepernick. Secondly, the author conducted qualitative semi-structured interviews of sports journalists who have extensively published about athlete activism. Insights from the qualitative interviews guided the second round of textual analysis coding. To summarize, the analysis of sports news coverage of athlete activism demonstrated that cultural and political influences on news content are decipherable even without a comparative examination of different nations or different cultural or political systems. For example, Lebron James was portrayed as an advocate for racial justice because he played by the cultural and political rules of the time and did not disrupt the cultural norms. However, Colin Kaepernick's protest was defined as illegitimate or debated as illegitimate until it became acceptable.</p

Audit has basically three classifications: External, internal and government audit. Auditors have to face some risks and challenges during their audit procedure, these are called audit risks. There are three main categories of audit risks: Inherent risk, Control risk and Detection risk. Based on the risk assessment, auditors give four types of opinions: Unqualified, qualified, adverse and disclaimer. As the author has worked in “Bokhteyar Humayun & Co.” as an intern, he has found that his firm actually faces those three types of risks which are mentioned above. The author has also critically analyzed risk assessment and he has also found some key issues and recommended some solutions for his firm. The author has tried to work as a sincere member of his organization and demonstrated a high level of professionalism during his internship period which has been certified in his “Internship Completion Certificate” in the appendix part
