    Analysis and Implementation of the ISSAF Framework on OSSTMM on Website Security Vulnerabilities Testing in Polinema

    Along with the increasing number of websites circulating on the Internet, the security holes that arise are also increasing. The Electrical Engineering Department's website is no exception, especially on the Electrical Engineering Department's website which has never been audited to scan for security holes on the Electrical Engineering Department's website so the level of reliability of the Electrical Engineering Department's website cannot be known. On this basis, a study entitled "Analysis and Implementation of the ISSAF Framework for OSSTMM in Testing Website Security Gaps at Polynema" will be carried out. In this study, the authors tested security holes on the website at Polinema using the ISSAF and OSSTMM frameworks to scan for security holes on the Electrical Engineering Network website. Then from the test results, recommendations will be given to website managers to overcome existing security holes. Before giving recommendations, the author will try to update website security and re-test the updated website. This is done to prove whether updates made to website security can work effectively in overcoming security holes that were previously found. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that on the Electrical Engineering Department's website there are 21 security holes with 7 of them at medium level when testing for security holes using the ISSAF framework. And there are 17 security holes when testing security holes using the OSSTMM framework. The security holes include 10 open ports, DoS, brute-force, and there are security holes in the library used

    FILIAL PIETY IN THE QUR’ANIC PERSPECTIVE: A THEMATIC STUDY USING GROUNDED THEORY

    The concept of filial piety or birr al-wālidayn in the Qur’an is a form of respect, devotion, and a child’s deep sense of loyalty to their parents. This value, when viewed from a moral, social, and spiritual perspective, has a central position in building harmonious family relationships and forming a complete and civilized human character. The phenomenon of increasing disobedience behavior, even disobedience to parents in various contemporary Muslim societies, is a worrying indication and indicates the urgency of revitalizing Islamic ethical values, especially in the context of child-parent relationships. This study uses the method of thematic interpretation (tafsīr mawḍū‘ī) combined with the Constructive Grounded Theory approach to examine in depth 15 relevant verses of the Qur’an. These verses are analyzed and classified into three main categories: (1) the conceptual definition and moral-spiritual obligation of birr al-wālidayn, (2) the concrete form of expression of gratitude and recognition for the sacrifice of one’s parents, and (3) a firm warning against disobedient behavior that can have adverse consequences, both in this world and in the hereafter. The findings of this study show that birr al-wālidayn not only demands respect and obedience, but also includes gentleness of speech, sincere prayer, providing for, and consistent affection. In conclusion, birr al-wālidayn is not only a social norm but a real manifestation of monotheism and worship, which needs to continue to be contextualized in modern life through an innovative and constructive approach to interpretation

    Sukamaju Village, Sumedang, is an area that relies on the agricultural and home industry sectors for income, including the processing of aren starch. This production process generates fiber waste that is not optimally utilized and has the potential to pollute the environment. This Community Service Program (CSP) aims to educate and train the community in utilizing arenga fiber waste to create environmentally friendly briquettes called BARASKA (Sukamaju Fire Coal). The activities were carried out thru a participatory approach involving observation, education, technical training, and mentoring. The results show that arenga fiber waste can be processed into effective and efficient briquettes as an alternative fuel. This program also successfully raised public awareness and skills, opened up new business opportunities, and contributed to environmental management. Despite still facing constraints in production and marketing tools, this initiative shows great potential in building a circular economy and sustainable villages.  Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran vital dalam perekonomian nasional, namun menghadapi persaingan yang semakin kompleks di era digital. Banyak pelaku UMKM menghadapi tantangan dalam mengadopsi teknologi sehingga memerlukan peningkatan literasi digital untuk dapat bertahan dan bersaing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model penguatan literasi digital kepada pelaku UMKM di Desa Sukasirnarasa melalui pendekatan coaching clinic. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam yang melibatkan pelaku UMKM untuk menggali pemahaman dan kebutuhan mereka terkait pemanfaatan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan coaching clinic efektif diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital. Model ini berhasil karena menekankan pada partisipasi aktif peserta, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi, serta mencakup pengembangan kompetensi individu seperti keterampilan teknis, pemahaman kritis, dan kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam konteks digital. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa model pembinaan praktis yang dapat diadopsi untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan daya saing UMKM dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital

    The Boeing 737-900 ER aircraft has a system called landing gear indication which in its application uses a proximity sensor that is useful in providing information about the position of the landing gear. However, this system can experience problems where if the landing gear indication does not function, the pilot cannot obtain information from the instrument that ensures the position of the landing gear. The purpose of this study is to identify problems that often occur in the landing gear indication system on the aircraft. The analysis was carried out using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method with the Fishbone Diagram approach. From the identification results, it was found that the main cause was a problem with the proximity switch sensor experiencing corrosion and changes in position which caused the signal reading to be inaccurate. For this reason, it is necessary to replace components and adjust the sensor position so that the system can run properly.Pesawat Boeing 737-900 ER mempunyai sistem yang dinamakan landing gear indication yang dalam aplikasiannya menggunakan sensor jarak yang berguna dalam memberikan informasi tentang posisi roda pendaratan. Namun, sistem ini dapat mengalami permasalahan dimana apabila landing gear indication tidak berfungsi maka pilot tidak dapat memperoleh informasi dari instrumen yang memastikan posisi landing gear. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada landing gear indication system di pesawat. Analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Root Cause Analysis (RCA) dengan pendekatan Fishbone Diagram. Dari hasil identifikasi ditemukan bahwa penyebab utama yaitu permasalahan pada sensor proximity switch mengalami korosi dan perubahan posisi yang menyebabkan pembacaan sinyal menjadi tidak akurat.     Application of Sagnac Interferometer for Temperature Monitoring: Experimental Study

    Temperature sensors have been widely used in industries and they have found applications in food processing units, medical devices, chemical handling processes, automotive and agriculture. In the market, there currently exist many varieties of temperature sensors including thermocouples, resistor temperature detectors, infrared sensor, thermistor, thermometer and optical temperature sensor. Of these technologies, optical temperature sensors have the edge in that they are free from electromagnetic interference, low weight, compact, high sensitivity, high signal-to-noise ratio and excellent stability. In this work, optical temperature sensor based on Sagnac interferometer is experimentally demonstrated. The Sagnac interferometer consists of a 3.5 cm polarization maintaining fiber that acts as a sensor head, a polarization controller and a 3 dB coupler. Experiments are carried out in which an amplifier noise being the input light for the Sagnac interferometer and the transmission spectrum of the output light is observed for the output. Throughout the experiment, the sensor head is placed in an oven for temperature variation. Based on the measurements on the output spectrum, it is found that the spectrum dips shifts to the shorter wavelength from 1554.96 nm to 1528.56nm as the temperature is varied from 30 °C to 45 °C. The spectrum dip is found to be inversely proportional to the temperature with the obtained sensitivity of 1.766 nm/°C. This Sagnac-based optical sensor is promising for detecting temperature especially in the harsh environment
