De la animación sociocultural al desarrollo comunitario: su incidencia en el ocio
No full textSe presenta una investigación que evalúa un programa de ocio dirigido a personas mayores activas.
Dicho programa utiliza como base de actuación la metodología de la Animación sociocultural desde la que
se promueve un modelo de Desarrollo comunitario. El objetivo que orienta este estudio es verificar cómo
la aplicación de esta metodología puede desarrollar procesos de participación ciudadana, incrementar la
iniciativa social y promover la democracia cultural en los barrios, territorios y espacios comunitarios.
El programa se complementa con una extensa revisión bibliográfica y entrevistas a diferentes
profesionales del ámbito académico y profesional.
A partir de las conclusiones de este trabajo, se aportan nuevas líneas de investigación que puedan
contribuir a la mejora de la intervención social y de la acción comunitaria

No full textThe current situation of social and economic instability affecting our society has revealed the existence of large pockets of people living in conditions of disadvantage or social exclusion. Social policies have responded to specific situations,
but have not articulated a strong social fabric capable of effectively integrating the excluded or preventing these processes. This article presents the model of pedagogical intervention known as community education, which focuses on two key objectives: improving people’s quality of life and subjective sense of well-being, especially for those in a situation of social exclusion; and promoting social cohesion. These goals are made operational through increased participation, the empowerment of individuals and communities, co-responsibility and social awareness.La actual situación de inestabilidad social y económica que vive nuestra sociedad ha evidenciado la existencia de grandes bolsas de personas que viven en situación de marginación o exclusión social. Las políticas sociales han dado respuesta
a situaciones concretas, pero no han articulado un tejido social fuerte que permita incorporar de forma efectiva a la persona excluida, ni prevenir dichos procesos. Se presenta en este artículo un modelo de intervención socioeducativa denominado
Pedagogía Social Comunitaria que centra su acción en dos objetivos: la mejora de la calidad de vida y el bienestar subjetivo de las personas, especialmente aquellas que se encuentran en situación de exclusión social; y el fomento de la
cohesión social. Full text linkThe specialized intervention in the penitentiary field has required the initial motivation of the inmate in the process of desistance. To this end, specialized units have been created that have fostered and promoted the process of change. The implementation in Catalonia of the Participation and Coexistence Model has meant a significant and successful change in the prison educational intervention. This article presents a comparative study of prison recidivism in a Penitentiary Center, with data obtained at two different times: with the application of specialized units, and later with the generalization of the model through criteria of adapted universality. The application of universal models improves the quality of life, while maintaining levels of recidivism, presenting important data in the promotion of processes of social desistance and reincorporation.requerido de la motivación inicial del interno en su proceso de desistimiento. Para ello, se han creado unidades especializadas que han fomentado e impulsado el proceso de cambio. La implementación en Cataluña del Modelo de Participación y Convivencia ha supuesto un cambio significativo y de éxito en la intervención educativa penitenciaria.
El artículo presenta un estudio comparativo de la reincidencia penitenciaria dentro de un mismo centro penitenciario, con datos obtenidos en dos momentos diferentes: con la aplicación de unidades especializadas, y, posteriormente con la generalización del modelo a través de criterios de universalidad adaptada. La aplicación de modelos universales mejora la calidad de vida, a la vez que mantiene los niveles de reincidencia, presentando datos importantes en la promoción de procesos de desistimiento y reincorporación social

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
