Frank Molek Interview
No full textThis interview is with Frank Molek, a Linfield alumni.
In this interview, Frank speaks about his journey from his Oregon farm to Linfield. He then dives into how he found himself working in DC and in higher education. Frank reminisces about his time with the 1968 Linfield class.
He shares about his time playing baseball and all the influential people he met during his time at Linfield. Some highlights he mentioned were being a part of the 1966 Linfield baseball team--which won the NAIA National Championships--and finding a love for International Affairs.
Frank later talks about attending Georgetown on the Fulbright scholarship. He discusses his career, which was 45 years in advancement and development, and spending some time working with Edith Green.

Mary Molek was born in Chicopee, Kansas, June 9, 1909 and passed in Dover, Delaware, April 3, 1982. She had received her Bachelors in Science degree from the Kansas State University (now Pittsburg State University). She then earned a Masters in Art degree, and a Doctoral degree, both from the University of Chicago. She was an author, teacher, and curator. She wrote Immigrant Woman and Comprehensive Bibliography of the Works of Ivan Molek. She also translated Slovene Immigrant History by Ivan Molek from Slovene to English. Pengaruh Pengetahuan terhadap Minat Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadi’ah di BMT Amanah Air Molek
No full textPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh jumlah nasabah pada produk simpanan wadi’ah di BMT Amanah sebanyak 1.640 nasabah, sehingga menjadikan produk ini menjadi produk yang paling banyak diminati oleh Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada produk simpanan wadi’ah dan Bagaimana minat masyarakat Desa air Molek II pada produk simpanan wadi’ah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pengetahuan Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadi’ah dan Minat Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadi’ah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Desa Air Molek II yang berjumlah 6.032 orang, dan penulis hanya mengambil 44 orang sebagai sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan program Statistical Product and Service for windows version 20.00 (SPSS versi 20). Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa Pengetahuan Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Pada Produk Simpanan Wadi’ah di BMT Amanah Air Molek. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui t hitung (3,679) > t tabel (2,018) dan P value (0,001) < (0,05) Taraf signifikansi á = 5%. Hasil uji signifikansi t terhadap variabel penelitian dengan menggunakan Software SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin meningkat pengetahuan Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadiah, maka akan semakin meningkat pula Minat Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadi’ah. Minat Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadiah ini dapat dilihat dengan besarnya data keseluruhan rata-rata responden sebesar 4.40, bahwa variabel Minat Masyarakat Desa Air Molek II pada Produk Simpanan Wadi’ah dalam kategori sangat baik

No full textThis research is motivated by the number of customers on wadi'ah savings products at BMT Amanah as many as 1,640 customers, making this product the product that is most in demand by the Air Molek II Village Community. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the knowledge of the people of Air Molek II Village on wadi'ah savings products and how the interest of the people of Air Molek II Village on wadi'ah savings products. This study aims to determine the effect of the knowledge of the people of Air Molek II Village on Wadi'ah Savings Products and the Interests of the People of Air Molek II Village on Wadi'ah Savings Products. The population in this study was the community of Air Molek II Village, amounting to 6,032 people, and the authors only took 44 people as samples. Sampling technique using the Slovin formula. And the data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive research method using the Statistical Product and Service program for windows version 20.00 (SPSS version 20).From the results of this study, it can be seen that the Knowledge of the Air Molek II Village Community has a positive and significant effect on Interest in Wadi'ah Savings Products at BMT Amanah Air Molek. Thus, it can be seen that t count (3.679) > t table (2.018) and P value (0.001) < (0.05) Significance level á = 5%. The results of the t significance test on the research variables using SPSS 20.0 for Windows software. This shows that the increasing knowledge of the Air Molek II Village Community on Wadiah Savings Products, the interest of the Air Molek II Village Community in Wadiah Savings Products will also increase. The interest of the Air Molek II Village Community in Wadi'ah Savings Products can be seen by the size of the overall data on the average respondent of 4.40, that the variable of the Air Molek II Village Community's Interest in Wadi'ah Savings Products is in the very good category
