Reinforcement learning-based security schema mitigating man-in-the-middle attacks in fog computing
The fast emerging of internet of things (IoTs) has introduced fog computing as an intermediate layer between end-users and the cloud datacenters. Fog computing layer characterized by its closeness to end users for service provisioning than the cloud. However, security challenges are still a big concern in fog and cloud computing paradigms as well. In fog computing, one of the most destructive attacks is man-in-the-middle (MitM). Moreover, MitM attacks are hard to be detected since they performed passively on the network level. This paper proposes a MitM mitigation scheme in fog computing architecture. The proposal mapped the fog layer on software-defined network (SDN) architecture. The proposal integrated multi-path transmission control protocol (MPTCP), moving target defense (MTD) technique, and reinforcement learning agent (RL) in one framework that contributed significantly to improving the fog layer resources utilization and security. The proposed schema hardens the network reconnaissance and discovery, thus improved the network security against MitM attack. The evaluation framework was tested using a simulation environment on mininet, with the utilization of MPTCP kernel and Ryu SDN controller. The experimental results shows that the proposed schema maintained the network resiliency, improves resource utilization without adding significant overheads compared to the traditional transmission control protocol (TCP)

Adhesion reduction agents in gynaecological procedures: can NHS afford it? An economic cost efficiency analysis
We examined the total costs to the National Health Service (NHS, UK) paid to treat adhesion complications and determine the theoretical savings and cost-effectiveness incurred if anti-adhesion agents were adopted. Using Healthcare Resource Groups (HRG) codes, we calculated the costs incurred through Payment by Results (PbR) and then calculated the financial savings that could be realised through the use of anti-adhesion agents. There were 62,186 adhesion-related consultant episodes between 2004 and 2008 encountered within the NHS. If an anti-adhesion agent cost £110 per usage, and can reduce adhesions in 25% of patients undergoing surgery, assuming that 25% of patients were readmitted in the first year after the primary surgery, the financial cost to the health service is, at best, savings of more than £700,000 and at worst, cost neutral to the NHS.<br/

Konstruksi Otoritarianisme Hukum Islam Menurut Khaled M. Abou El-Fadl
Quran was sent down for the humanity, its consequently guiding to drive justice, dignity and a mercy of the universe. This paper tried to discribe of the triangle of text, reader and author in islamic legal opinion. The cource strictly to differ where are authoritative and authoritarian in the same time. Here is Khaled Khaled as a prominent moslem thinker standing consistantly in front line againts wahabism on its fatawa or islamic legal opinions. Khaled offers methodology of how to interpret of the meaning of the law texts, it is hermeneutic. The characteristics of this kind of methodology is that there is closed relation to the author, text, context, and interpreting of reader. So, the meaning of Islamic law texts can be classified into two categories, authoritarianism and authoritative meaning
Understanding Education of Authoritative Islamic Law Perspective Khaled Abou el Fadl
Problems with Gender-biased Islamic law education and authoritarianism in the United States have invited the anxiety of prominent Muslim intellectual, Khaled Abou El Fadl. In his book on the Speaking in God's Name, Khaled revealed a crucial hermeneutic problem related to the relation of text (text), author (reader). Khaled also revealed the problem of abuse of "authority" in Islamic law that surfaced and was unavoidable among individuals and groups. Evidently, there are a number of religious fatwas not speaking "about God", but acting and speaking "in the name of God". The focus of this paper further discusses what are the hermeneutical problems in Islamic law education discussed by Khaled Abou El Fadl, and what is meant by the issue of authority and abuse, the relation of text-author-reader, and authoritarianism and its implications in the study of Islamic law. Then what are the mechanisms and methods for formulating the right Islamic fatwa
Pemikiran Hermeneutika Khaled M. Abou El Fadl: Dari Fikih Otoriter Ke Fikih Otoritatif
This article is an analysis of the book written by Khaled M. Abou el-Fadl entitled Speaking in God's Name: Islamic law, Authority and Women, which tries to explain the thoughts of Khaled M. Abou El Fadl who carries the theory of authority by using a hermeneutic approach as an analytical knife in addressing The problems of Islamic law that have developed so far are still considered discriminatory, in Khaled M. Abou El Fadl's terms referred to as interpretation authoritarianism. The hermeneutics that Khaled M. Abou El Fadl developed is oriented towards the authority of the interpretation of a text by negotiating the text, the author and the reader by paying attention to three things, namely; competence (authenticity), determination of meaning, and representation. According to Khaled M. Abou El Fadl, these three main issues play an important role in shaping the authority holders in Islamic discourse
