    Totopo Village is an area located in Bilato District, Gorontalo Province. This are is one of the remote villages that is highly vulnerable to various types of disasters. The topography of the village is dominated by hills, with houses located in the valley, adjacent to a large river that often causes flooding and submerges settlements around Totopo Village. The hills in this village are mostly bare, and some of them are used by residents to grow secondary crops, crops that do not have a strong ability to bind the soil, thus becoming one of the triggering factors for landslides. In 2022, there was a major flood and landslide that made this village isolated. The purpose of this community service is to improve the preparedness of the community of Totopo Village, Gorontalo Province, especially in facing floods and landslides. Identification of locations for the installation of evacuation routes and gathering points based on geological topographic interpretation resulted in 2 gathering points. The results of this community service are the installation of 5 evacuation route signs and 2 gathering point signs installed around Totopo Village

    Sejarah gempabumi di wilayah Sulawesi Tengah sudah beberapa kali mencatatkan gempa besar, sebagian diantaranya menimbulkan tsunami sehingga menyebabkan berbagai kerusakan bahkan menyebabkan kematian. Hasil dari sebaran episenter memberikan gambaran mengenai tingkat seismisitas di wilayah Sulawesi Tengah, terlihat bahwa tingkat kegempaan di wilayah ini sangat kompleks. Frekuensi banyaknya kejadian gempa didominasi oleh gempa-gempa dangkal dengan kedalaman kurang dari 70 km. Hasil perhitungan energi total gempa tertinggi terletak di wilayah Luwuk sebesar 7,9572121 erg. Nilai percepatan tanah maksimum paling besar diperoleh di daerah Tolitoli tepatnya pada koordinat 1,02o LU dan 120,40o BT yaitu sebesar 215,6651 gal. Penentuan wilayah resiko gempa didasarkan pada klasifikasi nilai hasil perhitungan percepatan tanah maksimum dan intensitas maksimum menjadi kategori resiko sangat kecil hingga resiko besar. Hampir seluruh wilayah Sulawesi Tengah memiliki resiko bencana gempabumi yang cukup tinggi di mana daerah Tolitoli memiliki tingkat resiko paling tinggi dengan nilai percepatan tanah 215,6651 gal dan nilai intensitas maksimum VIII-IX MMI

    The pattern of surface currents and salinity distribution at the mouth of the Palu River by using the 2D coherens model to show that the presence of wind factors influences the velocity and direction of the tidal and non-tidal surface flow patterns at the mouth of the Palu River. Using primary and secondary data, the results show that non-tidal currents are more dominant with the direction of spread from the North to the East to the West then turn to the South, with a velocity of 2.57 m/s. The pattern of salinity distribution with tidal and non-tidal flow generators has a different model. Still, it has the same direction, namely the flow from North East to West direction, which is deflected to the South adjacent to the mouth of the Palu River estuary.

    Penelitian mengenai pola arus di Teluk Palu sangat jarang dilakukan, padahal perairan ini merupakan daerah potensi strategis secara ekonomi. Studi mengenai pola arus Teluk Palu dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan model Coherens menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman fortran dengan mengabaikan gaya pembangkit angin sebagai pembangkit arus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arus pada Teluk Palu bervariasi baik arah maupun kecepatannya. Besar kecepatan arusnya berkisar antara 0,01 m/s hingga 0,33 m/s. Kondisi ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh pergerakan pasang surut baik saat purnama maupun perbani. Model pola arus laut permukaan di Teluk Palu ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi pembangunan dan pengembangan sekitar area teluk, bagi masyarakat dan juga bermanfaat bagi penelitian-penelitian selanjutny

    Identifying Andesite Rocks Sources Using Geoelectrical Resistivity in Loli, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi

    Research has been carried out in Loli Village, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi using the Wenner-Schlumberger resistivity geoelectric method to determine the resource of andesite rocks. This measurement was done by determining the path points in the field using the Global Positioning System (GPS). The data collection was carried out using the geoelectrical resistivity method based on the area’s measurement plan. The data obtained was in the form of position data for each electrode, potential data (V), and current strength data (I) used to calculate the resistivity value (r). The results obtained from this research are andesite rock resource content, which was characterized by a high resistivity value ranging from 300–600 Wm. The resistivity value of the cover layer is low, ranging from 14–45 Wm. The latent content of andesite rocks was dominated in the southeast region on the trajectory of DRSA_01, DRSA_02, DRSA_03, DRSA_04, and DRSA_06 which had a lower topography than the northwest region. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um024v4i22019p04

    The research that refers to the characterization of carbonate reservoir to identify lithology and fluid had been done to the Baturaja Formation in South Sumatera Basin. The method used is analyzed of Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) by utilizing the petrophysics parameter of Lambda Mu Rho (LMR) and Extended Elastic Impedance (EEI). The goal of the research is to find out the comparison of the application of petrophysics parameter LMR and EEI to characterization carbonate reservoir, besides finding a prospect location or proposed well. The result of data analysis of Al-Fatah well shows that the carbonate reservoir position with liquefied gas is located deeper around 350 meters with a thickness of around 7.62 meters.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
