Building Harmony In Diversity: Exploring Masnun Tahir's Perspective on Multicultural Fiqh
No full textThe primary purpose of this study is to explore the views and thoughts of Muslim scholar Masnun Tahir on how to develop a fiqh framework that supports harmony in culturally and religiously diverse societies. This study carries a qualitative approach by analyzing Masnun Tahir's writings, especially in multicultural fiqh and understanding religious pluralism. The research method involves the analysis of texts and critical content of works relevant to the theme of multiculturalism and harmony in the view of Masnun Tahir. The findings of this study indicate that Masnun Tahir's views on multicultural fiqh inherently carry the values of inclusiveness and respect for the rights of individuals regardless of religious and cultural background. Through this perspective, Masnun Tahir seeks to build bridges between diverse groups of people to maintain harmony and diversity. The concept of multicultural fiqh Masnun Tahir's social and humanitarian perspective has illustrated that multicultural fiqh goes beyond the application of Islamic law in diverse societies. It is a vision of how religion can be a source of inspiration in creating inclusive, tolerant, and just societies. Multicultural fiqh contains universal human values that transcend religious and cultural boundaries, potentially shaping harmonious societies and global peace. Masnun Tahir’s Nationalist Fiqh: The Integration of Islam and Nationalism in Addressing Social Challenges in Indonesia
Get PDFThis study analyzes Masnun Tahir’s thoughts on Nationalist fiqh as a solution to the challenges of pluralism, intolerance, and radicalism in Indonesia. Masnun Tahir proposes a paradigm of Nationalist fiqh that integrates Islamic values with the multicultural context of Indonesian nationhood. The study employs Jurgen Habermas’s Critical Hermeneutics theory as an analytical framework to explore the transformative dimensions of this thought, encompassing interfaith dialogue, education, and the strategic role of religious scholars (ulama) in fostering social harmony. Using a library research methodology and textual analysis, this research examines Masnun Tahir’s works and the relevance of his ideas in the social context. The findings indicate that Masnun Tahir’s Nationalist fiqh offers a comprehensive approach that balances Islamic teachings with national values, positioning pluralism as a strength to enhance unity. This paradigm encourages the application of contextual Islamic law that respects local values and aligns with societal needs. Interfaith dialogue emerges as a central pillar of this paradigm, functioning as a tool to strengthen social integration and minimize conflicts arising from differences in belief. Education based on Nationalist fiqh is also identified as a key element in shaping a tolerant and patriotic generation. The analysis reveals that the paradigm of Nationalist fiqh is not merely normative but also transformative, providing practical solutions to the challenges of intolerance and radicalism. However, its implementation faces obstacles, including social resistance and the need for cross-sectoral support. With inclusive and sustainable strategies, Nationalist fiqh holds significant potential as an instrument for inclusive social transformation in Indonesia. This study contributes to the enrichment of theoretical discourse and offers a new perspective on bridging religion and nationhood in the Indonesian context

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT. Sawit Riau Makmur PKS Teluk Mega Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Motivasi (X1), Lingkungan Kerja (X2), dan Disiplin Kerja (X3), berpengaruh terhadap Produktivitas Kerja (Y) pada PT. Sawit Riau Makmur PKS Teluk Mega Kabupaten Rokan Hilir, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh karyawan pada bagian produksi PT. Sawit Riau Makmur PKS Teluk Mega Kabupaten Rokan Hilir yang berjumlah 63 karyawan. Metode teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode teknik sensus jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 63 responden. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Motivasi (X1), Lingkungan Kerja (X2), dan Disiplin Kerja (X3) berpengaruh terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil koefisien Determinasi ( ) sebesar 0,691 menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh dari ketiga variabel bebas secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikatnya sebesar 69,1% dan sisanya sebesar 30,9% merupakan variabel lain yang tidak diteliti kedalam penelitian ini seperti : Pendidikan, Keterampilan dan Etika Kerja.

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi tingkat loyalitas nasabah yang dimiliki oleh Bank Muamalat Indonesia KCU Kediri dilihat dari variabel Brand Awareness, Experiental Marketing dan Kepuasan Nasabah.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk menguji pengaruh signifikan antara brand awareness terhadap loyalitas nasabah Bank Muamalat Indonesia kantor Cabang Kediri, (2) Untuk menguji pengaruh signifikan antara Experiental Marketing terhadap loyalitas nasabah Bank Muamalat Indonesia kantor Cabang Kediri, (3) Untuk menguji pengaruh signifikan antara kepuasan terhadap loyalitas nasabah Bank Muamalat Indonesia kantor Cabang Kediri,(4) Untuk menguji pengaruh signifikan antara brand awareness, Experiental Marketing dan kepuasan secara bersama-sama terhadap loyalitas nasabah Bank Muamalat kantor Cabang Kediri.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sacara parsial (1) Brand awareness berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah tabungan di Bank Muamalat Indonesia KCU Kediri, (2) Experiental Marketing berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah tabungan di Bank Muamalat Indonesia KCU Kediri. (3) Kepuasan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah tabungan di Bank Muamalat Indonesia KCU Kediri.(4) Brand awareness, Experiental Marketing dan Kepuasan secara bersama – sama atau simultan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah tabungan di Bank Muamalat Indonesia KCU Kediri.
