TEKNIK PEMBENIHAN IKAN MAS MARWANA (Cyprinus carpio) SECARA BUATAN DI BALAI PENGEMBANGAN DAN PEMACUAN STOK IKAN NILA DAN MAS (BPPSINM) WANAYASA, PURWAKARTA, JAWA BARAT
Ikan mas merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang sudah dibudidayakan secara komersial oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Upaya perbaikan
mutu ikan mas dilakukan di Balai Pengembangan dan Pemacuan Stok Ikan Nila dan Mas (BPPSINM) Wanayasa sejak tahun 2013, dan menghasilkan varietas baru yang disebut ikan mas Marwana (mas ras Wanayasa) yang tertera pada Keputusan Menteri KKP Nomor 27/KEPMEN-KP/2016 tentang pelepasan ikan
mas Marwana.
Praktek Kerja Lapang ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23 Januari sampai 23
Februari 2017 di BPPSINM Wanayasa, Purwakarta, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode
yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang meliputi wawancara, pengamatan
dan partisipasi aktif selama proses kegiatan. Tujuan dari praktek kerja lapang ini
adalah untuk memperoleh pengetahuan tentang teknik pembenihan ikan mas
Marwana secara buatan, mengetahui nilai fekunditas, fertilisation rate, hatching
rate, dan survival rate dalam pembenihan ikan mas Marwana serta mengetahui
permasalahan yang sering dihadapi.
Teknik pembenihan ikan mas Marwana secara buatan (Cyprinus carpio) di BPPSINM Wanayasa meliputi persiapan kolam, pemeliharaan dan seleksi induk, persiapan wadah, pemijahan, penetasan telur, pemeliharaan larva, manajemen
pemberian pakan, pengelolaan kualitas air dan pencegahan hama dan penyakit.Pemijahan ikan mas Marwana dapat dilakukan secara buatan dengan perbandingan induk jantan dan betina 1:1. Hasil pemijahan saat praktek lapangmenghasilkan nilai fekunditas 97.590 butir telur/kg induk, fertilisation rate
79,56%, hatching rate 67,33% dan survival rate larva berumur 14 hari 46,67%
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pelaporan Kegiatan KKN-PPL Terpadu UNM

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi pelaporan kegiatan KKN-PPL Terpadu UNM dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan pengguna terhadap sistem informasi pelaporan kegiatan KKN-PPL Terpadu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R & D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pengembangan sistem informasi pelaporan kegiatan KKN-PPL Terpadu UNM berbasis website. Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan prototyping dengan tahapan Communication (Komunikasi), Quick Plan (Perencanaan), Modeling Quick Design (Desain Pemodelan), Construction of Prototype (Implementasi), Deployment Delivery & Feedback (Testing, Penyerahan kepada Pelanggan dan Umpan Balik). Serangkaian tahapan tersebut dapat dihasilkan sebuah sistem informasi pelaporan kegiatan KKN-PPL Terpadu. Pengujian system menggunakan ISO 9126 yang berfokus pada aspek functionality, portability, realibility, dan usability. Hasil pengujian aspek functionality oleh validasi ahli baik sistem maupun ahli konten menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi layak untuk digunakan. Pengujian aspek portability dilakukan dengan beberapa browser berbasis desktop dan OS mobile dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem telah memenuhi aspek portability karena dapat diakses dengan menggunakan browser desktop maupun OS mobile. Pengujian aspek realibility dilakukan dengan ujicoba menggunakan aplikasi Web Stress Tools dan dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi memiliki rasio keberhasilan 100%. Subjek penelitian pengujian usability adalah 50 Responden yang terdiri dari dosen pembimbing lapangan dan mahasiswa, dari hasil pengujian tersebut diperoleh tanggapan sangat baik terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi. Untuk keseluruhan ISO 9126 yang diujikan, menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi sangat layak digunakan sebagai sistem pendukung dalam pelaporan kegiatan KKN-PPL Terpadu UNM
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of magnesium alloy/austenitic stainless steel joints produced by resistance spot welding techniques / Sunusi Marwana Manladan
Multi-material design is gaining prominence as an efficient strategy to reduce the weight of vehicles, improve crash-worthiness, balance cost, and reduce environmental pollution. Mg alloys and austenitic stainless steels (ASS) have been identified as excellent candidates for next generation vehicle structures. Therefore, it is imperative to develop reliable means of joining them together. Resistance spot welding (RSW) is the most widely used sheet joining process. However, joining Mg alloys to steel by RSW is extremely challenging due differences in physical and metallurgical properties. In this research, different RSW techniques, namely, resistance element welding (REW), resistance spot weld bonding (RSWB), and resistance element weld bonding (REWB), were employed to join 1.5-mm-thick AZ31 Mg alloy and 0.7-mm-thick 316L ASS. For the purpose of comparison, RSW and adhesive bonding (AB) were also used. The microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of the joints were characterized using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, micro-hardness, and tensile-shear tests. The RSW joints were found to be produced through welding-brazing mode, in which the Mg alloy melted and spread on the solid ASS, forming a nugget only in the Mg alloy. The microstructure of the nugget consisted of only columnar dendritic structure, indicating that columnar-to-equiaxed transition was interrupted. Shrinkage porosity and cracking were also observed in the nugget. In contrast, a two-zone nugget was formed during REW, consisting of a peripheral nugget on the ASS side and the main nugget. The macroscophic morphology and microstructures of the RSWB and REWB joints were similar to those of traditional RSW and REW joints, respectively. However, compared with the RSW and REW joints, the RSWB and REWB joints possessed larger bonding diameter and nugget diameter, respectively. Overall, the traditional RSW joints exhibited inferior mechanical performance with a peak load of 2.23 kN and energy absorption of 1.14 J. The REWB joints possessed the best performance, with outstanding energy absorption. Compared with the RSW joints, the REWB joints showed 238 % higher peak load and 51 times higher energy absorption; RSWB joints showed 187 % higher peak load and 24 times higher energy absorption; AB joints showed 111% higher peak load and 7 times higher energy absorption; and REW joints showed 66% higher peak load and 9 times higher energy absorption. Irrespecive of the welding current, the RSW joints failed in interfacial failure mode, while the failure mode of REW joints transited from interfacial to pullout mode with increase in welding current. The RSWB joints exhibited a hybrid failure mode comprising of delamination at the Mg/adhesive interface, cohesive failure in the adhesive, and interfacial failure. With increase in welding current, the failure mode of the REWB joints changed from hybrid failure mode involving delamination at both the Mg/adhesive and adhesive/ASS interfaces, cohesive, and pullout failure to a hybrid failure involving delamination at Mg/adhesive interface and failure in the Mg alloy. Therefore, RSWB and especially REWB could be reliable techniques for joining Mg alloy and stainless steels to obtain high peak load, outstanding energy absorption, and favorable failure mode

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
