A Review on Maintaining Web Applications and Brute Force Attack
Now a days ,almost all generations are using technology. Every and other person is active on social media like Facebook, twitter, as well mail accounts. Each and every organizations, institutes, companies are having their own web portals. Every site is handling lots of data. This data is in terms of product ,employee information, financial data etc.. Most of the time the data attributes are confidential. Through the use of emerging data technologies like cloud computing,Big data etc. these data gets properly stored and accessed. People are using Internet are exchanging information and communicating with each other for business and Personal purpose.Everyone needs safe and secure way of communication. This paper is discussing different aspects of network security-threats,attacks and Vulnerabilities. Theweaknesses in web application security are also discussed. The network security aspects such as authentication,  Confidentiality, Integrity are also discussed.Different attack methodology like Hidden Field Manipulation attack,Parameter Tampering attack,Buffer Overflow attack (Denial of Service), SQL Injection etc. are also discussed. The paper is focusing on Brute force attack, reverse Brute force attack. The different tools like Aircrack-ng,John the Ripper, Rainbow crack,Cain and Abel, Hashcat,Ncrack are explained. Hacker’s/attacker’s purpose and malware activities are identified. Precautionary measures are mentioned against Brute force attack in this paper.Like the Wordpress brute force attack has occurred and the team monitored the attack and traced its consequences are also discussed in this paper. Also Microsoft office365 brute force attack is given in this pape
Knowledge evaluation in product lifecycle design and support
Enterprises are focusing more and more on knowledge issues for global product development. This paper describes knowledge evolution processes in product development activities and proposes a knowledge evaluation method in product lifecycle design. The paper also theoretically analyzes the evaluation model and illustrates how knowledge values can be assessed by case study. The case study shows how knowledge values calculated by the model can provide suggestions about which knowledge to choose and what to do next. The knowledge evaluation model serves as a useful tool for managing knowledge in product lifecycle design and support. This work is partly supported by the National Social Science Foundation of China (No. 13CTQ022) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 51205344). We would like to appreciate Prof. Robert B. Allen from Research Center for Knowledge Communities (RCKC) of University of Tsukuba, for his helpful suggestions and support
THE QUEST FOR ACCESS TO MEDICINES AND THE EFFECTS OF THE TRIPS AGREEMENT: AN APPRAISAL OF THE NIGERIAN SITUATION BALANCED AGAINST OTHER STATES.
The objective of this thesis is to find solutions to the access to medicine problem in Nigeria whilst still complying with the TRIPS Agreement. The study reveals that apart from the high prices of medicines, there are other major domestic factors such as the lack of social amenities, the failure of the pharmaceutical industry to become self reliant, counterfeit drugs and lack of recognition for traditional medicines which have contributed to the lack of medicines for HIV/AIDS and other opportunistic diseases that are a major public health problem in Nigeria.
In fulfilling the objective of this study, the thesis notes that many Nigerian laws are based on the British legal system; a historical analysis of the patent system in Britain and indeed Europe is therefore carried out. The historical analysis is relevant in recognizing how the patent concept developed and evolved into becoming one of the most powerful components of the multi- lateral trading system and why developing countries like Nigeria have struggled with the concept.
The HIV/AIDS epidemic in Nigeria, neglected diseases and counterfeit drugs are also examined with key emphasis on the Nigerian governments’ position on tackling the access to medicines problem. In that section an examination of the human rights approach to confronting the access to medicines crisis is conducted with a view of encouraging the respect and protection of fundamental human rights whilst still complying with the TRIPS Agreement.
Ultimately a comparative analysis of the Nigerian and Indian pharmaceutical industry is carried out in order to extract lessons which may be useful to the Nigerian government when initiating public health policies and amending its intellectual property laws which are presently out-of-date. In the end the thesis stipulates ways in which Nigeria can take advantage of the flexibilities of compulsory licenses and parallel importation within the TRIPS Agreement to gain access to medicines
