    RUKYATUL HILAL INSTRUMENT DESIGN BASED ON ARDUINO

    Arduino is a Microcontroller platform consisting of a computer chip that is used to control electronic equipment that is flexible and easy to use. In this modern era, the implementation of Rukyatul Hilal can be done using instruments such as Hilal locater, telescope and theodolite. However, these tools are quite expensive and have a fairly heavy load and require long time to prepare. Therefore, this research provides breakthroughs and new innovations in designing the Rukyatul Hilal Instrument based on Arduino. The research uses the Research and Development model type of research, the development model that the researcher will do is to develop an Arduino Microcontroller so that it can be used as a Rukyatul Hilal Instrument. Based on 4 observations of the Moon, The Arduino-based Rukyatul Hilal instrument can successfully show the position of the Moon and verify the data used by the author is correct and the author can also photograph the image of the Moon clearly using a smartphone. However, it should be noted that the position of the Moon when viewed from the Arduino-based Rukyatul Hilal Instrument telescope is not in the middle of the telescope, but sometimes at the bottom, side and top

    This research has as its axis of study the work of the artist Hilal Sami Hilal. It is structured from the history, theory and criticism of art, dealing with the new dimension, in recent decades, both of the statute of the art object in its materiality, as well as of transformations that occurred in the participation of the spectator before the work proposed by the artist. In the study of Hilal Sami Hilal's works, it was to mark direct contact with the artist as well as in the decision to start the research with the analysis of two works that reflect a strong appeal to the sensitive and are constructed with singular spatiality: the installations "Constellations" (2016) and "Seu Sami" (2007). We also saw the presence of the symbolic and subjective works triggered by materiality and creative intentional process, such as memory and affection. Finally, we we awe general reflections of the artist's poetic trajectory seeking dialogues between the "Installations" mentioned above and others of his works, especially "Aleppo" (2019)Esta pesquisa tem como eixo de estudo o trabalho do artista capixaba Hilal Sami Hilal. Estrutura-se a partir da história, teoria e crítica de arte, versando sobre a nova dimensão, nas últimas décadas, tanto do estatuto do objeto de arte na sua materialidade, quanto de transformações ocorridas na participação do espectador diante do trabalho proposto pelo artista. No estudo das obras de Hilal Sami Hilal foi balizar o contato direto com o artista bem como na decisão de iniciar a pesquisa com a análise de dois trabalhos que refletem forte apelo ao sensível e são construídos com singular espacialidade: as instalações “Constelações” (2016) e “Seu Sami” (2007). Vimos, igualmente, a presença do simbólico e subjetivo das obras acionados pela materialidade e processo intencional criativo, como memória e afeto.     Este projeto propõe uma incursão entre arte e literatura que visa contribuir para a atualidade da leitura semiótica, tecendo comparações e análises entre as obras literárias e artísticas por aproximação, evocação e correspondência. Nosso objetivo é mostrar que uma mesma obra literária ou artística pode ser lida e refletida através de outras linguagens, interessando-nos a possibilidade dos sentidos, o cruzamento entre artes e as leituras possíveis das obras. Para isso, propomos uma investigação de como os livros fantásticos descritos por Jorge Luis Borges em alguns de seus contos, a saber: 'A biblioteca de Babel', 'O Aleph' e 'O livro de areia', tomam corpo na poética das artes plásticas e visuais do artista capixaba Hilal Sami Hilal. Uma das vertentes de leitura desse trabalho é tratar a imagem dos textos borgianos não como imagens que servem o discurso por ele utilizado, mas como imagens que evocam outras imagens, imagens teóricas que são memórias ficcionais que atuam na representação do real e são evocadas na poética de Hilal no campo plástico visual

    Neste artigo analisamos as obras: Livro Redondo (2005) e Livro Socorro (2011), de Hilal Sami Hilal, pensando-as como livros-objetos que guardam características próprias do livro convencional. E como tal, são também portadores da dimensão espacial e temporal.  Livros são construídos no presente e destinados ao futuro. Sua construção implica em questões como: forma, estrutura, materialidade, conteúdo e a relação entre leitor/objeto. No caso dos livros-objetos esta relação se faz com o espectador que pode manuseá-lo, observá-lo e até mesmo lê-lo, criando novas formas de interação táteis, visuais e legíveis. No espaço/tempo dos livros deste artista desenrolam-se suas escritas que aproximamos à Poesia Concreta brasileira, que deu início aos movimentos: concreto e neoconcreto. A partir desses movimentos surgiu, no Brasil, o livro de artista.

    The main problem of this research is how is the law of astrophotography in rukyatul hilal using the contemporary fiqh approach? The main problem is then broken down into several sub-problems or research questions, namely: 1) What is the mechanism of Astrophotography in Rukyatul hilal?, 2) What are the views of classical and contemporary Ulama in Rukyatul Hilal. This type of research is classified as qualitative. The author specifically uses a sharia and astronomical approach. The data sources used are: primary data comes directly from data sources that are collected and related to the object of research while secondary data comes from scientific works related to the object of the problem being studied, to analyze the data used qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study show differences of opinion regarding the views of classical and contemporary scholars. The views of classical scholars in the mazhab of fiqh such as the Syafi'i school of thought, for example Imam Nawawi in Al-Majmu' emphasized that Rukyatul Hilal is done with the eyes, not through or other tools. In the Syafi'i school of thought, one just person is enough to state that he has seen the hilal to determine the beginning of the Hijri month. The views of contemporary scholars such as Ahmad Rofiq added that Rukyatul Hilal is an instrument to implement the command to see the hilal based on the rukyat hadith. In order for someone to see the hilal, binoculars or other technology are used to reduce obstacles or difficulties. The implications of this study are that every study is expected to contribute to the problems studied and can be recommended to related parties for development. The presence of this article is expected to the government to provide a container or study related to the law of astrophotography in rukyatul hilal with a contemporary fiqh approach. In addition, it is expected that the full role of the younger generation will continue to study various fiqh studies related to matters related to worship. &nbsp

    An analytical study of the theatre of the Syrian playwright Saadallah Wannous, with particular emphasis on the plays written after the 1967 war

    This study is an examination of the life and work of the Syrian dramatist Saadallah Wannous (1941-1997). Wannous's name is virtually unknown in the West; only two academic studies of any significance have appeared in English on this eminent and challenging writer, who was honoured by UNESCO at the end of his life. Even in the Arab world his standing rests largely upon his celebrity as a cultural icon, since professional performances of his plays are rare due to the decline of the theatre in the region, and little attention has been devoted to theatre studies by Arab academics. The two studies in English do not attempt to be comprehensive but focus on particular stages of Wannous's career. This study is, therefore, the first to encompass the full range of Wannous's work. To do so it combines an account of his life which seeks to comprehend the various forces that shaped his thinking with an analysis of his dramatic works. The study concentrates on the plays written in the years following the trauma inflicted on the Arab world by the catastrophe of their defeat in the Arab-Israeli war of June, 1967. Wannous's career can be divided into three phases: the immature plays of his young manhood which are influenced by European models and generally focus on the social condition of the individual; his middle period - the `theatre of politicisation', when his Marxist politics were the main factor shaping his drama; and his late works, which are characterised by an extraordinary freedom of thought and expression. The introduction places Wannous in his historical and sociocultural context and provides a brief background explaining the literary and theatrical traditions of the Arab world that influenced his activity as a dramatist. Each phase is then examined in turn and the plays are analysed in accordance with the focus of the study. This means that emphasis is given to the middle period, but no significant work is neglected. The study aims to trace the trajectory of Wannous's development using a variety of sources: the plays themselves, Wannous's own journalism and critical writings, interviews with his widow, his friends and colleagues, and numerous journals, books and articles, some of which contain important interviews with Wannous that shed light on his thought and ways of working. Use is also made of the two studies mentioned above. The study shows that Wannous's theatre was influenced by the key political, social and cultural developments of his time, and that he constantly sought to find forms that would express those transformations in dramatic terms
