Kata Kunci : Intensitas Pencahayaan ABSTRACTbased on previous research conducted by Agustin Puryani Wulandari, (2010) the influence of light intensity towards the production of parts in the work activities of PT Indofood Cbp Affluent Successful Division of Semarang branch of the Noodle. This research showed that the influence of light intensity on a work process that is incompatible with the type of work will result in the disruption of discomfort at work activities. Lighting is a work that includes environmental factors in a group of risk factors. Therefore, just as the other environmental factors (such as the levels of dust, high noise intensity, excessive heat, radiation or radiation that is not mengion mengion), when the intensity of the lighting is inadequate (or bleak dazzling), then it can lead to declining labor productivity or become low. A less good lighting can lead to the job become more complicated and difficult because of the disturbing sight of a tailor. research methods used in this research is descriptive. that is clearly illustrates the limited effort revealed a problem and circumstances as it is so just how is a fact and the data obtained is used as material for the writing of the report. In this report, the author presents the results of the review, observations and measurements of the intensity of the illumination at the tailor in the complex Building President 45 Market City of Manado. The population of this research is all the tailors in the Building complex totalling 45 Markets President 31 tailor. The sample of this research is all population tailors Building complex totalling 45 Markets President 31 tailor. The intensity of the lighting in this measure using a measuring instrument illumination (Lux meters) with units of measurement 200 Lux. The frequency distribution of the image of the intensity of the lighting there is 29 people (93.5%) of workers aged 15-49 years and 2 people (6.5%) of workers aged ≥ 50 years of age, 16 (51.6%) of male workers and 15 (48.4%) of female workers, 25 (80.6%) workers This last one educated high school and 6 persons (19.4%) of workers educated the last junior high, and 21 men (67.7%) with a working period > 4 years and 10 people (32.3%) with a working period ≤ 4 years. From the intensity of the lighting, there are 18 persons (58.1%) workers working with Luks are eligible to work on and at least 13 people (41.9%). Based on the results of research conducted can be concluded that there is a difference in the intensity of the lighting on the tailor in the complex Building President Market 45 Manado city in which there are a number of 13 seamstresses intensity pencahayaannya not qualified (200 < Luks) and 18 tailor who qualified pencahayaannya intensity ≥ 200 Luks. Keywords: Lighting Intensity

    No full text
Introduction Electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs) have tremendous potential to optimise palliative and supportive care for children with cancer, their families and healthcare providers. Particularly, these children and their families are subjected to multiple strains caused by the disease and its treatment. The MyPal digital health platform is designed to address these complex demands by offering pursuant ePRO-based functionalities via two mobile applications, one developed for children and the other for their parents. Methods and analysis In this observational prospective feasibility study, 100 paediatric oncology patients aged between 6 and 17 years and at least one of their parents/legal guardians will be recruited at three clinical sites in two European countries (Germany and Czech Republic). They will use the mobile applications which are part of the novel digital health platform. During a 6-month study period, participants will complete various ePROs via the applications addressing quality of life, satisfaction with care and impact of the disease on the family at monthly intervals. Additionally, priority-based symptom reporting is integrated into a serious game for children. Outcomes that will be assessed concern the feasibility and the evaluation of the newly designed digital health platform to contribute to the evidence base of clinical ePRO use in paediatric oncology and palliative care process. Ethics and dissemination The MyPal-Child study obtained ethical approval from the Ethics Committee responsible for the University of Saarland, that is, the Ärztekammer des Saarlandes, the Ethics Committee of the Medical School Hannover and the Ethics Committee of the University of Brno. No full text
The objectives of this study is to describe the process of settling the trade agreement dispute by the Indonesian National Arbitrage Agency (BANI). Based on the facts in Manado, Indonesia -as our research place- it is found that, of course, in the parties' agreements, there is a high risk of disputes occurring. It is, for sure, the opportunity for the existence of BANI to help resolve the Non-Litigation Trade Dispute in that area. This research found that permanent dispute resolution is one of the most important aspects of business transactions at any time. BANI's scope of work is the resolution of disputes arising from agreements on trade, industry, and finance (business contracts), namely corporate, insurance, finance, patents, copyright, aviation, telecommunications, space, cooperation, mining, sea and air transportation, environment, fabrication, industry, trade, licensing, agency, intellectual property rights, design, consulting, distribution, maritime, construction, shipping, and remote sensing

Suicidal thoughts/acts and clinical correlates in patients with depressive disorders in Asians: results from the REAP-AD study

    No full text
Objective: Using data from the Research on Asian Psychotropic Prescription Patterns for Antidepressants (REAP-AD) study, we aimed to present the rates and clinical correlates of suicidal thoughts/acts in patients recruited from a total of 40 centres in 10 Asian countries/areas: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. Methods: Data from 1122 patients with depressive disorders in the REAP-AD study were used. The ICD-10 was employed to diagnose depressive episodes and recurrent depressive disorder. The presence or absence of suicidal thoughts/acts and profile of other depressive symptoms was established using the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence guidelines for depression. Country/area differences in rates of suicidal thoughts/acts were evaluated with the chi(2) test. In addition, depressive symptom profiles, other clinical characteristics, and patterns of psychotropic drug prescription in depressed patients with and without suicidal thoughts/acts were compared using analysis of covariance for continuous variables and logistic regression analysis for discrete variables to adjust the effects of covariates. Results: The rates of suicidal thoughts/acts in 10 countries/areas varied from 12.8% in Japan to 36.3% in China. Patients with suicidal thoughts/acts presented more persistent sadness (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 2.64, p<0.001), loss of interest (aOR = 2.33, p<0.001), fatigue (aOR = 1.58, p<0.001), insomnia (aOR = 1.74, p<0.001), poor concentration (aOR = 1.88, p<0.001), low self-confidence (aOR = 1.78, p<0.001), poor appetite (aOR = 2.27, p<0.001), guilt/self-blame (aOR = 3.03, p<0.001), and use of mood stabilisers (aOR = 1.79, p<0.001) than those without suicidal thoughts/acts. Conclusion: Suicidal thoughts/acts can indicate greater severity of depression, and are associated with a poorer response to antidepressants and increased burden of illness. Hence, suicidal thoughts/acts can provide a clinical index reflecting the clinical status of depressive disorders in Asians.SCI(E)[email protected]

Clinical Use of Mood Stabilizers With Antidepressants in Asia: Report From the Research on Asian Psychotropic Prescription Patterns for Antidepressants (REAP-AD) Projects in 2004 and 2013

    No full text
Objective As most reports concerning treatment with combinations of mood stabilizer (MS) with antidepressant (AD) drugs are based in the West, we surveyed characteristics of such cotreatment in 42 sites caring for the mentally ill in 10 Asian countries. Methods This cross-sectional, pharmacoepidemiologic study used 2004 and 2013 data from the REAP-AD (Research Study on Asian Psychotropic Prescription Patterns for Antidepressants) to evaluate the rates and doses of MSs given with ADs and associated factors in 4164 psychiatric patients, using standard bivariate methods followed by multivariable logistic regression modeling. Results Use of MS + AD increased by 104% (5.5% to 11.2%) between 2004 and 2013 and was much more associated with diagnosis of bipolar disorder than major depression or anxiety disorder, as well as with hospitalization > outpatient care, psychiatric > general-medical programs, and young age (all P < 0.001), but not with country, sex, or AD dose. Conclusions The findings provide a broad picture of contemporary use of MSs with ADs in Asia, support predictions that such treatment increased in recent years, and was associated with diagnosis of bipolar disorder, treatment in inpatient and psychiatric settings, and younger age.Taipei City Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan [10201-62-077]SCI(E)ARTICLE2255-2593

Factors Associated With Antidepressant Dosing in Asia Findings From the Research on Asian Psychotropic Prescription Study

    No full text
In this study, we sought to examine factors associated with dosing of antidepressants (ADs) in Asia. Based on reported data and clinical experience, we hypothesized that doses of ADs would be associated with demographic and clinical factors and would increase over time. This cross-sectional, pharmacoepidemiological study analyzed data collected within the Research Study on Asian Psychotropic Prescription Pattern for Antidepressants from 4164 participants in 10 Asian countries, using univariate and multivariate methods. The AD doses varied by twofold among countries (highest in PR China and RO Korea, lowest in Singapore and Indonesia), and averaged 124 (120-129) mg/d imipramine-equivalents. Average daily doses increased by 12% between 2004 and 2013. Doses were significantly higher among hospitalized patients and ranked by diagnosis: major depression > anxiety disorders > bipolar disorder, but were not associated with private/public or psychiatric/general-medical settings, nor with age, sex, or cotreatment with a mood stabilizer. In multivariate modeling, AD-dose remained significantly associated with major depressive disorder and being hospitalized. Doses of ADs have increased somewhat in Asia and were higher when used for major depression or anxiety disorders than for bipolar depression and for hospitalized psychiatric patients.Taipei City Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan [10201-62-077]SCI(E)[email protected]

Assessing an eHealth Intervention on Quality of Life in Patients With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes: The MyPal Randomized

    No full text
Purpose: The MyPal study (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT04370457) is a randomized controlled clinical trial assessing an eHealth intervention on the quality of life (QoL) of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Methods: Patients who were receiving or had previously received treatment for CLL or MDS were randomly assigned (1:1) to access the MyPal digital health platform versus standard of care. The MyPal platform included a smartphone application used to report QoL status and symptoms via standardized questionnaires or spontaneous reporting. The primary end point was QoL at 12 months, assessed by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) QLQ-C30 General Questionnaire and the EuroQol EQ-5D-3L. Secondary end points included physical and emotional functioning, measured by the Integrated Palliative Care Outcome Scale (IPOS) scale, satisfaction with care, measured by the EORTC PATSAT-C33, and overall survival (OS). Additionally, the Edmonton Symptom Assessment System (ESAS), Brief Pain Inventory (BPI), and Emotion Thermometers (ET) QoL questionnaires were assessed only in the intervention group. Results: A total of 171 patients (97 and 74 in the control and intervention arms, respectively) who answered multiple questionnaires were analyzed. The intervention group reported a significant decrease in pain (β2 = –0.48 [–0.77 to –0.19], P < .001) compared with the control group (β1 = 0.3 [0.09 to 0.5], P = .01). Communication and pain measured by IPOS reduced equally in both groups (β2 = 0 [–0.03 to 0.02], P = .82; β2 = –0.01 [–0.02 to 0], P = .1, respectively). Family involvement significantly increased over time only for the intervention group. The other items of EORTC QLQ-C30, EuroQol EQ-5D-3L, IPOS, and PATSAT-C33 remained unchanged in both groups. The intervention group displayed a significant improvement in all ESAS, BPI, and ET scales. OS was similar in both groups. Conclusion: The MyPal intervention improved several QoL aspects and led to a statistically significant decrease in pain compared with the control group.Online Firs
