Exploratory studies on fast pyrolysis oil upgrading
No full textPyrolysis oil is a dark brown liquid which can be produced in high yield from different kind of biomass sources by means of fast pyrolysis. Pyrolysis oil is considered as a promising second generation energy carrier and may play an important role in the future of "biobased economies". The energy content of pyrolysis oil is approximately half of fossil crude. Just like for crude oil, further reprocessing is necessary to arranged pyrolysis oil as fuel in e.g. combustion engines. This thesis describes the results of exploratory research of pyrolysis oil upgrading for biofuel production. For that purpose two promising options have been examined. The first route includes the treatment of pyrolysis oil with hydrogen at elevated temperatures and presses in the presence of metal catalysts. It appears that the properties of oil improved considerably by using solid catalysts based on ruthenium. Moreover a mild treatment using homogeneous metal catalysts also shows a promising option. The Second part of the research has an objective on improving pyrolysis oil properties by mixing with alcohol as a reagent. It appears that reactive distillation using butanol leads to a considerable improvement of important product properties such as viscosity, acid quality and energy contents.

Hoffmann). Each Syriac word is defined in Arabic, often with more than one Arabic equivalent; in addition, the author deals not just with individual Syriac words, but in some cases with phrases. Gottheil used 21 manuscripts (from Oxford, London, Paris, Berlin, Leiden, and Rome) for this edition, and he has supplied a thorough critical apparatus; the manuscripts are described in the introduction. While some manuscripts give the Arabic glosses in Syriac characters (i.e. Garshuni), Gottheil has presented them here in Arabic script. These two volumes will be of great interest to Syriac lexicographers and those who study interactions between Syriac and Arabic.Contains an English introduction by Richard J.H. Gotthei

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan penulis terhadap novel Kambing & Hujan karya Mahfud Ikhwan yang mengangkat persoalan perbedaan praktik pelaksanaan ibadah dalam organisasi keagamaan Nahdlatul Ulama dan Muhammadiyah. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana bentuk perbedaan praktik pelaksanaan ibadah, apa konflik yang ditimbulkan serta dampak bagi masyarakat Centong dalam novel Kambing & Hujan karya Mahfud Ikhwan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan bentuk perbedaan praktik pelaksanaan ibadah dan menjelaskan konflik yang terjadi serta dampak perbedaan praktik pelaksanaan ibadah dalam novel Kambing & Hujan Karya Mahfud Ikhwan.
Penelitian ini dilakukan denganmenggunakan tinjauan Sosiologi Sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dikemukakan oleh Nyoman Kutha Ratna. Metode ini akan menghasilkan data berupa kata-kata dalam bentuk kutipan-kutipan. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik pengumpulan data, menganalisis data, menyajikan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis dilakukan dengan pembahasan terhadap unsur intrinsik yang mencakup tokoh dan penokohan, latar, alur, dan tema.
Setelah melakukan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa konflik berawal ketika tokoh yang bernama Cak Ali, Gus Dul dan Lik Manan dituduh menghasut para pemuda untuk tidak datang pada hajatan desa. Mereka dianggap mengganggu ketentraman karena telah menolak terlibat dalam membantu penyelenggaraan tayuban di kuburan, sehingga mereka dibawa ke kecamatan oleh polisi. Selain itu, orang-orang mulai menemukan keanehan yang dilakukan oleh Cak Ali. Cak Ali diketahui tidak membaca ushalli ketika hendak shalat, shalatnya tidak pakai niat yang diucapkan serta mereka jarang membaca doa qunut saat shalat subuh seperti yang biasa dilakukan oleh jamaah masjid Selatan. Jamaah masjid Utara juga memiliki pendapat bahwa kebiasaan orang Centong yang mengumandangkan dua kali adzan, khotbah pakai bahasa Arab yang hanya dihafal, dan khatibnya memegang tongkat seperti raja merupakan suatu kesalahan. Hal inilah yang menjadi awal terjadinya konflik antara kaum tetua dan perangkat desa dengan kelompok mengaji Cak Ali. Sehingga pada akhirnya kelompok pengajian Cak Ali memutuskan untuk membangun masjid atau mushallah sendiri. Akhirnya di Centong terbagi menjadi dua jamaah, yaitu jamaah Masjid Selatan (Nahdlatul Ulama) dan jamaah Masjid Utara (Muhammadiyah).

Aspek Religi dalam Novel Kambing dan Hujan Karya Mahfud Ikhwan (Kajian Antropologi Sastra)
No full textObjek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Kambing dan Hujan karya Mahfud Ikhwan. Novel ini dipilih karena mengangkat topik yang sensitif mengenai perbedaan afiliasi organisasi sosial antara Nahdlatul Ulama dan Muhammadiyah pada tahun 1960-an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter, alur, dan latar serta mengkaji aspek religiusitas dalam novel Kambing dan Hujan dengan menggunakan kajian antropologi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Hasil dari penelitian yang berjudul "Aspek Religius dalam Novel Kambing dan Hujan Karya Mahfud Ikhwan" ini adalah ditemukannya 4 komponen religi menurut Emile Durkheim, yaitu(1) emosi keagamaan, (2) sistem kepercayaan supranatural, (3) sistem ritus atau upacara religi, dan (4) kelompok-kelompok religius. Aspek agama dalam novel ini dapat dilihat dari gagasan, jalan cerita, narasi dan dialog yang disampaikan oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam novel ini, khususnya Muhammad Fauzan, Iskandar, Miftahul Abrar, Nurul Fauzia, Pakde Anwar dan Cak Ali.

No full textThe purpose of this study was to describe: (1) The author’s sociohistorical background of the novel Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan; (2) the connection between elements of structuralism in novel Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan; (3) aspects of religiosity in novel Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan; (4) implementation of research result in novel Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan as a literary material in high school. The research used qualitative descriptive method. Reasearch data is phrases, sentences, and paragraphs in novel Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan there is an aspect religosity. Validity of data used is triangulation theory. Sources of research data is nove Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan. Data collection techniques use library techniques. Data analysis techniques use dialektical method. The result of research shows that: (1) sosiohistoris background of Mahfud Ikhwan born in Lamongan, 7 May 1980 known as a novelist; (2) elements of strukturalism in the novel is theme and fact of the story. The theme in the novel about Miftahul struggle in reachingfor love its packaged in social relations and religious rivalry. Miftahul as main character and Fauzia as companion figure. The plot used is cronological plot, and the place used is the village of Centong; (3) aspect of religiosity in novel Kambing dan Hujan by Mahfud Ikhwan is belief ideological dimension, religious effect, feeling exsperiental dimension, knowledge intellectual consequential dimension, practice ritualistic dimension; (4) this research can be implemented in literary learning in senior high school class XI semester 1, novel Kambing dan Hujan in accordance with the criteria of teaching materials is terms of language, psychology, an cultural background

ABSTRAK
Dalam pembudidayaan ikan gurami pada sekarang ini dalam system pengisian dan pengurasan masih di lakukan dengan cara yang konvensional yaitu dengan cara pada sudut kolam di beri lobang pengurasan jika ingin menguras maka sumbatan pada lobang pengurasan harus di lepas terlebih dahulu hal ini membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama, di lakukan pengurasan di karenakan adanya perubahan kondisi air kolam sehingga sebelum melakukan pengurasan pembudidaya harus melihat terlebih dahulu kekeruhan dan ph air secara manual, hal ini sanggat sulit dilakukan secara manual. Padahal air keruh dan ph air kolam sangat berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan ikan.
Oleh sebab itu di rancang dan dibangun alat penguras dan pengisian air kolam secara otomatis berdasarkan kekeruhan dan ph air kolam dengan messenger line, sehingga pengurasan dapat dilakukan pada waktu yang tepat dan dilakukan secara otomatis sehingga pembudidaya tidak perlu dating ke kolam untuk melakukan pengecekan kekeruhan dan ph air, alat ini juga dapat mengirimkan data melalui messenger line.
Dari hasil pengujian alat secara keseluruhan sistem dapat bekerja sesuai dengan perencanaan awal yaitu dapat melakukan pengurasan ketika ph air ≤ 6.5 dan kekeruhan air mencapai ± 30%..

ABSTRACT
In the cultivation of gouramy at this time in the system of filling and draining is still done in a conventional way that is by the way at the point of the pond in the drill hole if draining the drain in the drainage hole should be removed first it takes a long time, In dewatering in due to the change of pond water conditions so before carrying out the drainage farmers must first see turbidity and water ph manually, it is sanggat difficult to do manually. Though cloudy water and ph pool water is very influential on fish health.
Therefore, it is designed and built a drainage and pond water filling device automatically based on turbidity and pool water ph with messenger line, so that drainage can be done at the right time and done automatically so that the farmers do not need to dating to the pond to check the turbidity and ph Water, this tool can also transmit data via messenger line.
From the results of testing tools as a whole the system can work in accordance with the initial planning that can perform draining when water ph ≤ 6.5 and turbidity of water reach ± 30% ..
