    Kierkegaard in Light of the East: A Critical Comparison of the Philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard with Orthodox Christian Philosophy and Thought

    This project presents a comparative philosophical approach to understanding key elements in the philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard by juxtaposing his works with the philosophy and theology of the Eastern Orthodox Church.. The primary aim of the project is to look at three key areas of Kierkegaard’s philosophy that have been either underrepresented or misunderstood in the literature. These three areas are: Kierkegaard’s views on sin and salvation, Kierkegaard’s epistemology, and Kierkegaard’s philosophy of personhood. The dissertation ends with an epilogue that briefly explores a further area where this comparative approach might provide fruitful results, namely Kierkegaard’s views on collective worship. I argue that the revolutionary nature of Kierkegaard’s break with prevalent views in the Western Christian traditions (Protestantism and Roman Catholicism) have not always been fully appreciated due to the fact that he is most often read through the lens of either Western Christianity or the Western philosophical traditions that he came to influence (e.g. existentialism and post-modernism). Viewing Kierkegaard in light of the Eastern Christian tradition offers a new interpretive lens that highlights the extent to which Kierkegaard aimed to break free from standard Western accounts of sin and salvation, knowledge of God, and human personhood

    Bounds and Fixed-Parameter Algorithms for Weighted Improper Coloring

    AbstractWe study the weighted improper coloring problem, a generalization of defective coloring. We present some hardness results and in particular we show that weighted improper coloring is not fixed-parameter tractable when parameterized by pathwidth. We generalize bounds for defective coloring to weighted improper coloring and give a bound for weighted improper coloring in terms of the sum of edge weights. Finally we give fixed-parameter algorithms for weighted improper coloring both when parameterized by treewidth and maximum degree and when parameterized by treewidth and precision of edge weights. In particular, we obtain a linear-time algorithm for weighted improper coloring of interval graphs of bounded degree

Perturbations due to Rydberg to ion-pair state interactions show as line shifts, ion signal intensity variations as well as band width broadenings depending on rotational quantum numbers, J ^{\prime }. The data allow determination of parameters relevant to the nature and strength of state interactions as well as dissociation and ionization processes. Alterations in X+^{+} and HX+^{+} signal intensities prove to be very useful for spectra assignments

    The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between eye-foot coordination and balance with shooting ability in the Sabak Auh 1 State High School team. The population in this study was the SMA Negeri 1 Sabak Auh team. Based on information from the coach of SMA Negeri 1 Sabak Auh, there are 22 players registered and actively practicing. The instruments in this research were tests including an eye and foot coordination test using an eye and foot coordination test, a balance test using a balance test and a shooting test using a goal shooting accuracy test. Based on the results of the research that the author has described in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be drawn: From the results obtained, eye and foot coordination has a low correlation with shooting results in the football game of the Sabak Auh State High School 1 Team, namely the acquisition of rcount (0.257) < from the rtable gain (0.433) at α=0.05. From the results obtained for balance there is a very low relationship with the shooting results in the soccer game of the Sabak Auh State High School 1 team, namely the rcount gain (0.097) < from the rtable gain (0.433) at α = 0.05. There is a low correlation between balance and eye and foot coordination on shooting results in the football game of the Sabak Auh 1 State High School team, namely the Rcount (0.258) < the Rtable (0.433) at α = 0, 05

The purpose of the study is to know the clasification of total cost in production the factory on 3 (three) month, they are Oktober 2013, November 2013 and Desember 2013 and how much to product able to produce and sold. The data collected from the interview, observation, and library research by using calculating Break Even Point rupiah, unit and graph. The calculating Break Even Point in rupiah total product during 23.136.000,00 Plastic Tempe, and 26.064.000,00 leaf Tempe in Agust, 27.685.380,00 Plastic and 31.219.638,00 leaf Tempe in November and 27.024.000,00 Plastic tempe and 27.024.000,00 leaf Tempe in Desember 2013. Now Tempe Ryan Factory Palembang was get a profit because production tempe in a month more than Break Even Point, so if Ryan Factory want to attend a financial loss factory should be production more than Break Even Point value every month. The author suggest Tempe Ryan factory should made a classify the produced cost from fixed cost and variable cost. The benefit from classified cost is to help factory calculate Break Even Point and make a restriction for the safe level in sale planned.
