PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN INTERNET TERHADAP AKHLAK SISWA MADRASAH ALIYAH SE KABUPATEN TANAH BUMBU
Advances in Information and Communication Technology are actually very important for students at Madrasah Aliyah. Advances in Information and Communication Technology should be able to have a positive influence on students' morals so that they can improve their intellectuality. However, From the various things that have been explained about the current development of the internet or social media, which generally provide convenience for its users, it should be able to influence the morals of students. The formulation of this problem is 1) How far is the internet usage of Madrasah Aliyah students in Tanah Bumbu Regency? 2) To what extent are the students of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanah Bumbu Regency? 3) Is there a significant effect of internet use on the morals of Madrasah Aliyah students in Tanah Bumbu Regency?
This type of research is quantitative research, Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative analysis.
There is a significant negative effect between internet use on the morals of Madrasah Aliyah students throughout Tanah Bumbu Regency, this is based on the results of the regression coefficient of -1.368. This means that the more students use the internet, the worse their morals are, such as being lazy to study, often fighting or fighting, often skipping school, feeling unpleasant when they don't play on the internet, not knowing the time, and not wanting to help their parents. On the other hand, the less students use the internet, the better the students' morals
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Optimizing Rice Husk Silica Mass and Sonication Time for a More Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Synthesis of SBA-15
By optimizing rice husk silica mass and sonication time, SBA-15 was
successfully synthesized in a more efficient and environmentally friendly way. The
solution of Pluronic P-123 was mixed with the solution containing NaOH and various
masses of rice husk silica (4–12 g), followed by sonication for a certain time (30–150 min).
The mixture was filtered and washed with distilled water and ethanol until neutral, then
dried at 110 °C for 2 h and calcined at 500 °C for 6 h. The results showed that the optimal
mass of rice husk silica was 8 g, while the optimal sonication time was 30 min. The
product has a cylindrical pore shape with good crystallinity and pore structure regularity.
The specific surface area (SBET), the pore diameter (DBJH), the specific pore volume (VBJH),
and the wall thickness (WT) of the product were 601 m2
g–1, 4.76 nm, 0.88 mL g–1, and
5.02 nm, respectively. These results are not considerably different from the porosity of
SBA-15, synthesized previously using conventional hydrothermal techniques from
various silica sources. In addition, it is also comparable to the porosity of SBA-15
produced from TEOS by sonochemical methods as well as with commercial SBA-15
STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF ETHANOL ADDITION AND SOLUTION HEATING ON THE DETERMINATION OF AMMONIA IN WATER BY INDOPHENOL BLUE METHOD
The effect of ethanol addition and solution heating on the analytical performance of the determination of ammonia in water by indophenol blue method was studied. The addition of ethanol and solution heating was intended to overcome the problem of reproducibility and sensitivity ussually found in the determination of ammonia by indophenol blue method which is carried out in 100 % aqueous media. The determination of ammonia was done indirectly by reacting ammonia in the sample with hypochloride and phenol using nitroprussida as catalyst to yield blue color-intense chromophore of indophenol. The chromophore was then detected by UV-Visible spectrophotometer. The proposed method was applied for the determination of ammonia in various samples of river water located in Yogyakarta and Makassar.
Results of the study showed that ethanol addition into analytical solution and solution heating enhanced the formation of indophenol blue. The optimal heating was achieved after 90 minutes of mixing. In ethanol/water medium (50/50, v/v), indophenol blue exhibited maximum absorbance at 648 nm. The analytical performance of ammonia determination by indophenol blue method in this medium is as followed: detection limit = 0.03 ppm, relative standard deviation (RSD) = 2.50 % and the calibration curve was linear in the concentration range of 0.0 - 0.4 ppm with correlation coefficient (r) = 0.9968. Results of ammonia determination in various samples of river water showed that the highest concentration of ammonia (2.421 ppm) was found in Tallo river, Makassar, while the lowest (0.359 ppm) was shown by the river near SGM factory, Yogyakarta.

Adsorption of Cd(II) Metal Ion on Adsorbent beads from Biomass Saccharomycess cereviceae - Chitosan
Abstract. The adsorbent beads that was preparation from Saccharomycess cereviceae culture strain FN CC 3012 and shrimp shells waste and its application for adsorption of Cd (II) metal ion has been studied. The study start with combination of Saccharomycess cereviceae biomass to chitosan (Sc-Chi), contact time, pH of solution and initial concentration of cations. Total Cd(II) metal ion adsorbed was calculated from the difference of metal ion concentration before and after adsorption by AAS. The results showed that optimum condition for adsorption of
Cd(II) ions by Sc-Chi beads was achieved with solution pH of 4, contact time of 60 minutes and initial concentration adsorption 100mg/L. The hydroxyl (-OH) and amino (-NH2) functional groups were believed to be responsible for the adsorption of Cd(II) ions
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Quantitative structure–activity relationship study to predict the antibacterial activity of gemini quaternary ammonium surfactants against Escherichia coli
Gemini quaternary ammonium surfactants (GQAS) have a unique structure built of two conventional surfactants
connected by a spacer group. In previous studies, it has been found that GQAS have potency as antimicrobial agents.
Thus, we developed a quantitative structure–activity relationship (QSAR) model to predict the antibacterial activity
of GQAS. A dataset containing 57 GQAS with antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli was chosen from the
literature. After optimizing all structures of these compounds using the ab initio 6-311G basis sets at the Hartree–Fock
level theory, the molecular descriptors were calculated using the Mordred program. The genetic algorithm (GA) and
multiple linear regressions (MLR) were used for generating two QSAR models with different splitting techniques. The
predictive powers of the obtained models were discussed using the leave-one-out (LOO) cross-validation and external
test set. The best GA-MLR models were obtained with reliable value of R2 = 0.891, Q2
LOO = 0.851, lack-of-fit = 0.116,
root mean square error (RMSEtrain) = 0.267, R2
test = 0.834, and RMSEtest = 0.269. The GA-MLR methods were used
to develop models that possess good predictive ability based on both internal and external validation parameters. The
design of new molecules was done, and the antibacterial activity could be predicted using the resulting model with 16
compounds that showed potential as antibacterial agents
