Controversie in materia di investimenti stranieri e soluzione arbitrale in Nord Africa
No full textIl presente contributo si propone di analizzare gli strumenti di tutela arbitrali disponibili per l'investitore italiano in Nord Africa. A tal fine, verrà sinteticamente considerato il quadro convenzionale esistente nel cui ambito di applicazione ricadono gli investimenti europei e non europei. L’analisi di tale prassi convenzionale verrà condotta evidenziando tanto le procedure arbitrali, quanto il diritto applicabile, disponibili caso per caso. Nel corso di tale analisi due sono i punti che verranno principalmente considerati: la definizione di investitore in quanto beneficiario delle norme dell’accordo di riferimento, e la configurazione delle procedure internazionali alternative o successive all’esperimento dei rimedi giurisdizionali locali, con particolare, ma non esclusivo, riguardo agli aspetti di ammissibilità dei ricorsi in questione. L’analisi, non avendo pretesa di esaustività, data l’ampiezza del tema e dell’ambito di ricerca, seguirà un metodo esemplificativo che possa tuttavia costituire pratico parametro di riferimento nelle scelte di internazionalizzazione, specialmente da parte di imprese italiane nella regione nord-africana
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
