Effects of probiotic supplimentation to diets on blood urea nitrogen and plasma creatinine in broiler chicken
No full textThis study investigated the effect of probiotic supplementation into diets on blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and plasma creatinine of broiler chickens. The probiotic used in this study is a commercial probiotic powder containing 3 dominant strains, namely Candida ethanolica, Monascus fumeus, and Bacillus subtilis. One hundred broiler chickens were randomly assigned to four treatments. The treatments were the percentage of probiotic supplementation on basal diet: PP0 (control/basal diet with no probiotic supplementation; PP025 (basal diet with 0.25% probiotic); PP050 (basal diet with 0.50% probiotic); PP075 (basal dietwith0.75% probiotic). The probiotic powder in respective treatment was calculated based on amount of basal diet supplementation. The calculated amount of probiotic then mixed to the basal diet prior to supplied to the animals. The results showed that there was no significant difference in blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and plasma creatinine in any probioticfed birds compared to control group. However, there is a tendency of decrease in creatinine level in PP050, suggesting a lower rate of muscle expansion and kidneys function, although the difference was not significant. BUN and plasma creatinine were associated with the functionality and health of kidneys. In conclusion, the probiotic supplementation in the diet give neither benefit nor damage to renal health and functionality of broiler chickens

Novi Sad functions as a case study for the theoretical & design reflection of the application of large scale wastewater purification by using natural techniques. The city is located in the Danube basin which has ecological problems due to direct urban wastewater discharge. No full textCopyright is essentially a part of intangible/incorporeal property which the ownership isseparated from the ownership of the object. Consequently, the enactment of " the participants' worksbelong to the committee" clause cannot be interpreted as the transfer of both of the property rights andcopyright of the works. This study is aimed to know how the graphic designer as a participant in a graphicdesign competition correlated with the existence of "the participants' works belong to the committee"clause is legally protected.The data in this study were obtained by juridical-normative-empirical- research (mixture study).The data obtained from both the library research and the field research were analyzed using descriptivequalitativeapproach. Descriptive approach analyzes only applied at the description level in which factswere analyzes and presents in a systematic way so that it can be more easily understood and inferred.Qualitative approach doesnot emphasize its analysis on numerical data processed by the statisticalmethod. However it doesnot mean that qualitative approach doesn't use quantitative data. Thequantitative data were used but the emphasis wasnot on the hypothesis testing but rather on the attemptto answer the research question through argumentative and formal ways of thinking.The results of this study indicate that most people, especially graphic designers didn't understandthat property rights and copyright of work are two separate things and they assumed that " theparticipants' works belong to the committee" clause as a transfer of both property and copyright of adesign. Thus often caused problems dealed were generated from the illegal use by the committee such asthe use of the works without the cretor's permission, the committee's decision that the competition had nowinner or that the prize is distributed evenly to all the nominees.Keywords: Copyright, Design, Graphic Desig

The active learning concept of multimedia-based quantum teaching is implemented through the framework of TANDUR (Grow, Nurture, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, and Celebrate) and it uses multimedia as the learning media. Multimedia is implemented in the form of audio-visual with macromedia flash player application containing subject matter and educational game called as Electronic Puzzle. Multimedia-based quantum teaching is a form of active learning innovation that can be implemented by educators or teachers during the learning process. It is expected to help educational professionals, especially teachers, to enhance the students' motivation in order to help them achieve the expected learning goals.</jats:p

No full textNadimke novljanske okolice: Krmpota i krmpotskih sela, Klenovice, Povila, Ledenica i ledeničkih sela, Zagona i zagonjskih sela autor je zabilježio kao dopunu članka ”Novljanski nadimci” Svetozara Zoričića, Novljanski zbornik IV, Novi Vinodolski 2000. godine. Nadimci se javljaju u potrebi razlikovanja mnoštva obitelji – plemena koje nose isto prezime. Razlikovat ćemo obiteljske, osobne i nadimke po lokalitetu. Najbrojniji su krmpoćanski nadimci, koji se izvode iz šesnaest obiteljskih prezimena.The nicknames of the Novljan area that includes Krmpote and surrounding villages, Klenovica, Povile, Ledenice and Ledenice villages, Zagona and Zagon villages were noted by the author to amend the article ”Novljan’s nicknames” by Svetozar Zorčić in the Novljan anthology IV, Novi Vinodolski 2004. Nicknames appear as a need to distinguish between large numbers of families – tribes that carry the same surname- and to distinguish family and individual nicknames according to locality. The most numerous nicknames are from Krmpote. They are taken out of the sixteen family names

No full textU radu će biti saopšteni statistički podaci o jevrejskoj zajednici u gradu na Raški za stanje u prethodnoj, 1936. godini. Podatke koje je potraživalo centralno telo jevrejske zajednice u Kraljevini Jugoslaviji - Savez jevrejskih veroispovednih opština - rukovodstvo JVO Novi Pazar je temeljno prikupilo, uredno obradilo i blagovremeno poslalo potražiocima. Podaci koji su bili od interesa za Savez odnose se na opšte prilike u jevrejskim opštinama u vezi sa demografijom, članstvom, opštinskim ustanovama, verskim životom članova, njihovim školovanjem, profesionalnom orijentacijom i stanjem u budžetu opštine. Dokument se nalazi u posedu autora i pripada celini istovetnih predmeta iz drugih jevrejskih veroispovednih opština Kraljevine Jugoslavije. Svi oni su nastali iz istih potreba i završili na adresi Saveza, koji ih je dalje obrađivao i služio se njima za tekuće i buduće aktivnosti. Dokument je u formi obrasca sa pitanjima koja su otkucana na pisaćoj mašini srpskim jezikom i latiničnim pismom i imaju slobodan prostor za odgovore. Zastupljeno je ukupno 14 pitanja raspoređenih na obe strane jednog lista dokumenta. Uz štambilje pošiljaoca i primaoca, na njemu se nalaze i potpisi ovlašćenih lica ispred pošiljaoca, koji su garantovali verodostojnost pruženih podataka.Within the paper, statistical data shall be presented on a Jewish community in the town of Raska, for the condition in the previous year, in 1936. The data is being processed by the central body of the Jewish community in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia - the Association of Jewish Religious Communities. The administration of JVO Novi Pazar has collected thoroughly, processed neatly and sent promptly it to the seekers. The data, being of interest to the Association, are related to general occurrences in the Jewish communities related to demographic, membership, municipality institutions, the religious life of a man, their schooling, professional orientation and the condition of the community budget. The document is in the possession of the author and it completely belongs to the entity of the same subjects of other Jewish religious communities of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. They all appeared from the same needs and finished at the Association address, and it processed them further on and served them for the current and future activities. The documents are an application form, with questions and free spaces left for their answers, typed on a typing
machine, in the Serbian language and Latin alphabet. There are in total of 14 questions, allocated on two sides of one paper sheet of the document. With the sender’s and receiver’s seals, there are signatures of the authorized persons in front of the sender, being guaranteed for their credibility of the offered data
