    The author has made a statistical observation of the uro g enital anomaly, 113 cases, of the last ten years in our clinic. 1. There were, in the la s t ten years, 113 cases of patients with urogenital anomaly, and they are 1.9 per cent of all of urogenital patients. 2. Although patients of anomaly had a ten d ency to increase year by year after 1953, it seems to me that is due to the progress of urology and the improvement of sanitation which enables us to discover it more easily. 3. Also, although patients of anom aly having operations have had a tendency to increase year by year after 1953, it seems to me that is due to the improvement of the plastic operation with the development of antibiotics, not to speak of progress of urology

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    After the outbreak of the Revolution of 1911, all circles in Japan had different attitudes towards Chinese revolution. Besides, the revolutionary government had to contact frequently with these circles because of financial shortages. Against this background, the employees of Mitsui & Co, represented by Mori Kaku (森恪), took the initiative to closely consulted with the leaders of the revolutionary government, Sun Yat-sen (孙中山) and Huangxing (黄兴), on the Manchurian Lease ("满洲租借"). By investigating the negotiation among Sun Yat-sen, Huang Xing, Mori Gaku and so forth on the Manchukuo Lease, it can be found that Mori Kaku's early ideas, to expand national sovereignty, are the highest criterion for him to participate Chinese affairs. His in-law relationship with Masuda Takashi (益田孝) and the personal relationship between Masuda Takashi and Inoue Kaoru are important conditions to negotiate with Sun Yat-sen, Huang Xing and Inoue Kaoru (井上馨) under mutual trust. The fact that Mori Kaku negotiated with the Chinese side, Masuda Takashi communicated with the Japanese side, and Inoue Kaoru instigated within the senior levels is the key element of the negotiation system named "Manchurian Lease" which are formed on the basis of thees relationship.内田慶市教授古稀記念号departmental bulletin pape

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    本研究では常温常圧で液体で、脱水素化により半導体SiCとなる液体の新物質「液体SiC」を合成した。本研究では、特に液体SiCの反応中間体(活性種)に関する情報を評価した。この知見は液体SiCの「液体→固体」変換過程における分子の状態や構造を追跡し、その膜物性をより高度に制御するための鍵となる。つまり本研究は「液体SiC」という新材料の創出に留まらず、「液体」からのアプローチを前提としたSiC半導体の研究に繋がってゆく。今後は反応中間体の同定と「液体SiC→固体SiC」変換過程の構造・状態変化の解明のもと、高品質な結晶薄膜の形成に取り組む予定である。:In this study, we synthesized a "Liquid SiC" which is a liquid precursor solution consisting of hydrosilane and hydrocarbon. Liquid SiC is a liquid under normal temperature and normal pressure and which becomes semiconductor SiC via dehydrogenation. In this study, reactive intermediates (active species) of liquid SiC was investigated. The information of intermediates is a key issue to track the state and structure of molecules in the liquid-to-solid conversion process of liquid SiC and to control the physical properties of the film more highly. This research leads not only to the synthesis of a new material called "liquid SiC" but also to the study of SiC semiconductors on the premise of "liquid" approach.
