    RINGKASAN Pendidikan merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan. Kualitas pendidikan salah satunya ditentukan oleh kesesuaian penerapan model pembelajaran khususnya dalam penelitian ini mengenai kualitas kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah Group Investigation. Group Investigation akan memaksimalkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran. Guru membimbing siswa untuk melakukan investigasi berdasarkan panduan yang telah ditentukan. Panduan tersebut berfungsi sebagai arahan bagi siswa untuk menentukan strategi yang akan digunakan dalam memecahkan masalah. Keterampilan berfikir kritis akan terbentuk apabila siswa mampu melaksanakan tugas investigasi dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu atau quasi eksperiment. Subjek penelitian ini kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal pretest dan postest sebanyak 5 butir soal essai. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Uji pra syarat yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan homogenitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t tidak berpasangan (independent sample t test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol, hal ini dapat diketahui dari nilai signifikan uji t < 0,05 yakni sebesar 0,03 dan rata-rata gain score kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yakni berbanding 13,61 : 7,68. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPS MA Al Ma’arif Singosari. Kesimpulan diatas dapat digunakan sebagai saran terhadap guru mata pelajaran geografi untuk menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Dalam penerapan model guru perlu mempersiapkan segala kebutuhan teknis maupun non teknis dan melakukan pembekalan yang lebih matang agar tujuan dari penerapan Model Group Investigation dapat tercapai secara maksimal

    Abstract: Application of contextual approach by concrete media in improving student learning of Mathematics in IV Grade of SD N 7 Kutosari academic year 2014/2015. This research purposes to improve math learning about properties of geometry in IV grade. The research subjects were students in IV grade SD N 7 Kutosari. This research is collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) using cycle research design. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data sources were students, teachers, and observer. The validity of the data using triangulation sources and techniques. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed the application of contextual approach with concrete media can be improve math learning about properties of geometry that in the first cycle of students learning completeness reached 76%, the second cycle was 92%, and the third cycle reaches 100%.Keywords: Contextual approach, Concrete media, MathematicsAbstrak: Penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan media konkret dalam peningkatan pembelajaran Matematika pada siswa kelas IV SD N 7 Kutosari tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sumber data penelitian adalah siswa, guru, dan observer. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan media konkret dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika tentang sifat-sifat bangun ruang yaitu pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 76%, siklus II mencapai 92%, dan siklus III mencapai 100%.Kata Kunci: Pendekatan kontekstual, Media konkret, Matematik

    Added value of diffusion weighted MRI in evaluation of treatment response: post radiofrequency ablation for hepatocellular carcinoma

    AbstractObjectiveTo evaluate the feasibility of DWI and the corresponding ADC values to detect local tumor progression (LTP) after radiofrequency ablation for hepatocellular carcinoma.Materials and methods139 MR examinations were done for 51 HCC patients post-RFA. Pre and postgadolinium enhanced images as well as DW sequences were performed. ADC values of ablation zones and liver parenchyma were assessed. ADC values of ablation zones and adjacent signal alterations identified in DWI were analyzed.ResultsLTP was detected in 12 patients (23.5%) and 16 lesions (21.9%). The mean ADC value of ablated zones differed significantly from that of normal liver parenchyma. No obvious changes were detected in the ADC values of the ablated zones over time. ROIs covering the whole ablation zone showed no significant ADC value difference regarding the presence or absence of LTP. DWI showed 53 hyperintense areas in the periphery of the ablated zones, and the corresponding ADC values were significantly lower in patients with LTP than in patients without LTP.ConclusionDWI is a feasible follow-up tool for postablation liver contributing in detection of LTP. ADC based evaluation of signal alterations in the periphery of the ablation zone may be helpful in differentiation between LTP and post treatment tissue changes

    The goal of research is about how does Solopeduli Umat apply their standard islamic law and running the zakat distribution for their entitled person. Second is how does their management and program empowering the needy and the poors. And third, how does the organisation educate and scale up their amployment (amil), so they become profesional and credible amil. The methode based on qualitative paradigm. The scoop of research is based on social and religious methode. The place of research took from colaboration between library and field research. The type of research is decriptive figured which is the author descripe the field data from object then confrontated as a criticism and assesment based from islamic law (fiqh). The author wrote with the philology and philosophy approach, which is the source law literature from both classic and contemporery book will be extracted as according to shariah purpose philosophy. The result of this result shows that the first is, the organisastion applied the standard zakat distribution properly, transparant and valid. Its prooved by annual report, ministry of religion award, and intense supervision by National Amil Zakat Agency. Despite there is some program in zakat distribution zakat need to be corrected. Second, welfare program formated by small business fund need to be increased. And third, according to amil professional education and empowerment, this organisation reach the good upgrading of their employee with the routin agenda. They even achieved the professional certificate for amil zakat from National Amil Zakat Agency

    IoT-based Integrated System Portable Prayer Mat and DailyWorship Monitoring System

    Muslims have various difficulties in praying, such as difficulty memorizing the number of rak’ah they have been doing and determining the direction of the Qibla. In this research, we proposed a technological device for monitoring daily worship in Islam. We presented the IoT-based integrated system as a portable prayer mat serving as a rak’ah counter, Qibla direction finder, and a mobile worship monitoring system. A prototyping approach was used to produce a portable smart prayer mat, and Rapid Application Development was used to develop a mobile daily worship system. The device comprises an Arduino AT Mega 2560 powered portable prayer mat through a force-sensitive resistor sensor and an HMC 5883L compass module. The device sends the prayer activity to the worship applications in detail. The daily worship monitoring application itself has numerous features that enable users to track their daily worship activities, including the Hijri calendar, the time of compulsory prayers, the fulfillment of sunnah prayers, and fasting. Evaluation results showed that the system detected the rak’ah correctly in each cycle with average pressure to the FSR sensor of 81.36. The average time required to connect with a smartphone was 0.862 seconds. It also functions well as a Qibla finder. The black box testing results showed that the device and application performed effectively. It can send the worship data recapitulation to the application using Bluetooth

    Intact blood-brain barrier during spontaneous attacks of migraine without aura:a 3T DCE-MRI study

    BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The integrity of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) has been questioned in migraine, but BBB permeability has never been investigated during spontaneous migraine attacks. In the present study, BBB permeability during spontaneous attacks of migraine without aura was investigated compared to an interictal state.METHODS: Seventy-four patients suffering from migraine without aura were recruited to participate in this cross-sectional dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) study. The patients were instructed to report at the hospital for DCE-MRI scan during and outside of a spontaneous migraine attack. The primary end-point was a difference in the BBB permeability (ml/100 g/min) between the attack and the headache-free days. The permeability was assessed in five different regions of interest (ROIs) located in the anterior, middle and posterior cerebral area, brain stem, posterior pons and whole brain. The paired samples t test was used to compare Ki (permeability) values between the attack and headache-free days.RESULTS: Nineteen patients completed the study. Median time from onset of migraine attack to scan was 6.5 h (range 4.0-15.5 h). No change in the mean BBB permeability (ml/100 g/min) was found between the attack and the headache-free days in any of the measured ROIs. No relationship between the pain side or intensity and BBB permeability was found in 15 patients with unilateral pain during the examined attack.CONCLUSIONS: It was demonstrated that the BBB permeability during spontaneous migraine attacks without aura was unchanged.</p

    Heterogeneous rarity patterns drive price dynamics in NFT collections

    We quantify Non Fungible Token (NFT) rarity and investigate how it impacts market behaviour by analysing a dataset of 3.7M transactions collected between January 2018 and June 2022, involving 1.4M NFTs distributed across 410 collections. First, we consider the rarity of an NFT based on the set of human-readable attributes it possesses and show that most collections present heterogeneous rarity patterns, with few rare NFTs and a large number of more common ones. Then, we analyze market performance and show that, on average, rarer NFTs: (i) sell for higher prices, (ii) are traded less frequently, (iii) guarantee higher returns on investment (ROIs), and (iv) are less risky, i.e., less prone to yield negative returns. We anticipate that these findings will be of interest to researchers as well as NFT creators, collectors, and traders

    As explained by the manuscript holder, the original author wrote the manuscript during one of his many stays in northern Nigeria where he had Sufi followers and friends. He used paper provided to him by the Directopr's office at the Alfa Umaru Ibrahim Institute (Northern Nigeria). The manuscript is the original handwritten by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ghāli Ibn Sheikh Al-Hajj Muhammad Al-Amin Ba of Pate Galo (Senegal). It is a praise poem on the life of Prophet Muhammad (SWA). The manuscript is subdivided in seven parts. Part one deals with the birth, upbringing and unique character of Muhammad. Part two addresses how Muhammad obtained and carried his call of prophethood, and his exile to Madina (today's Saoudi Arabia). This part ends with the prophet’s stay at Mount of Hirā. Part 3 starts with Prophet Mohammad’s journey towards Madina from Mount Hira. His entrance to Madina and how the people of Madina welcomed him and how he established a Muslim community. Part 4 touches on Muslim wars against the non-Muslims up to their victory over Makka and its surrounding areas. This part also talks of the messages that prophet Muhammad sent to the various kings in the Arabian Peninsula. Part five is the Prophet's final pilgrimage and his Farewell Sermon. Part 6 describes the prophet as a person with miracles. Part 7 and 8 praise the prophet and provide guidance on how to connect with him.Comme l'explique le gardien du manuscrit, l'auteur original l'a écrit au cours de l'un de ses nombreux séjours dans le nord du Nigéria où il avait des adeptes et des amis soufis. Il a utilisé du papier qui lui avait été fourni par le bureau du directeur général de l'Institut Alfa Umaru Ibrahim (nord du Nigéria). Le manuscrit est l'original redigé par Cheikh Muhammad al-Ghāli Ibn Cheikh Al-Hajj Muhammad Al-Amin Ba de Pate Galo (Sénégal). C'est un poème de louange sur la vie du prophète Muhammad (SWA).
