Evaluation of Information Systems Curriculum in Portugal and Russia: IPB and KubSAU
The importance of Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) to organizations and the need for skilled professionals in the field is one of the most important challenges to universities. With the technological and organizational changes, IS education has been under continued adaptation, and higher education institutions have several difficulties in keeping the bachelor degrees curriculum updated.
Several international organizations (ACM, AIS, BCS, IFIP, etc.) proposed for the last 40 years several curriculum guidelines, which are important to redesign the curriculum for survival in the current economic environment.
The main purpose of this work is to compare Portuguese and Russian bachelor degrees with several standard curriculum on Information Systems proposed by recognized international organizations.
The results obtained show the differences that exist between international curriculum guidelines and the bachelor degrees, and give us a perspective of the adequacy of the Portuguese and Russian curricula to the current requirements

Evgeny Vodolazkin’s „The Aviator” as a Diary Genre
The purpose of this article is to investigate the diary genre as used in Evgeny Vodolazkin’s novel The Aviator. The author of the paper attempts to describe and emphasize the innovativeness of Vodolazkin’s approach, as compared with the main classic features interpreted in the light of Elena Bogdanova’s article entitled ‘Language features of the diary genre’ (2008) which brings a classification thereof.Целью настоящей статьи является представление творчества современного и самого популярного русского писателя Евгения Германовича Водолазкина в романе Авиатор, написанном в форме дневника. В статье представлен новаторский подход автора к жанру дневника, который сопоставлен с классической классификацией Елены Богдановой в ее научной статье Языковые особенности жанра дневника (2008)
Evgeny G. Pivovarov
The paper is an attempt to review and clarify data concerning Mikhail Lomonosov’s grammar studies and especially the history of his famous “Russian Grammar”. The authors lay out the timeline of its creation and publication. They describe the main steps on its way from the author to the reader and discuss evidence of its manuscript versions. Scholars know of at least four handwritten copies, none of which survive or have been identified. Only a few related drafts known as “Manuscript 112” or “Materials to the Russian Grammar” are available in the archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences (published in volume 7 of his Lomonosov's Complete Works). The article examines two parts of this manuscript which were apparently written not by Lomonosov: 1) lists of words and drafts of sections devoted to different parts of speech; 2) comments on some paragraphs of the “Russian Grammar”. Comparison of handwriting samples shows that the first part was not, as previously suggested, written by Lomonosov’s long-time assistant and copyist Ivan Barkov, while the second part was probably written by Lomonosov's classmate and fellow worker at the Academy Aleksey Barsov
Proper nouns in Polish and English translation of Evgeny Schwartz’s Дракон
In the article we analyze proper nouns occurring in Evgeny Schwartz’s Дракон. A very important aspect which should be considered in the play’s translation is its intertextuality. The author refers to other works by taking over the characters and introducing the prototype text components. We will look over the only Polish translation of Jerzy Pomianowski (1965) and three English translations of Elisaveta Fen (1975), Yuri Machkasov (2001) and Anna Epelbaum (2013)
BPS states in string theory
In this thesis we discuss a number of interesting and important properties of BPS states in string theory. We study wall-crossing behavior of BPS states at large volume limit and implications of it for the OSV conjecture. We find that the weak topological coupling OSV conjecture can be true at most in a special chamber of the K"ahler cone. We also clarify an interesting puzzle arising in the description of BPS states on the Higgs branch of supersymmetic quantum mechanics. Using methods of toric geometry we compute Hilbert spaces of BPS states on the compactified Higgs branch and arrive at completely consistent picture of spatial structure of those spaces. We introduce new kinds of walls, called Bound State Transformation(BST) walls, in the moduli space across which the nature of BPS bound states changes but the index remains continuous. These walls are necessary to explain the continuity of BPS index. BPS states can undergo recombination, conjugation or hybrids of the two when crossing a BST wall. Conjugation phenomenon happens near singularities in the moduli space and we relate massless spectra of BPS states at such singularities to monodromies around them. In cases when massless vector BPS particles are present we find new constraints on the spectrum and in particular predict the existence of magnetic monopoles becoming massless at such singularities. We give a simple physical derivation of the Kontsevich-Soibelman wall-crossing formula. Considering galaxy-like configurations of BPS particles with a central supermassive black hole with a number of stellar BPS systems around it we derive a consistency requirement on the partition function of such BPS galaxies. This requirement turns out to be nothing but Kontsevich-Soibelman wall-crossing formula. Our approach gives a generalization of the formula for the case when massless BPS particles are present.Ph.D.Includes bibliographical referencesIncludes vitaby Evgeny Andriyas
The issues of the History of the Church of Georgia in the book of Evgeny Shishkin „Caucasian priest-confessor metropolitan Anthony (Romanovsky): Biography“
The book of the priest Evgeny Shishkin „Caucasian priest-confessor metropolitan Anthony Romanovsky: Biography“ (Stavropol, 2006) is interesting for us, because the metropolitan Anthony was serving in Georgia as priestmonk and bishop from 1913 till 1926. In 1943 he also took part in the restoration of the Eucharistic relationship between of the Churches of Georgia and Russia.
From the book of priest Evgeny we focused on only the issues related to the Church of Georgia for discussing in the article. In particular, the author's attitude towards the restoration of the authocephaly of the Church of Georgia on March 12 (25), 1917 and the nationalization of the ecclesiastical property and educational institutions. In the article there is also criticised the fact, that in 1926 one of the reasons for the arrest of the Archbishop Anthony was declared his disagreement with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ambrosi (1921-1927).
Let's assume, that the author of the book discusses the issues in the same way as the majority of the officials of the Russian Church have discussed in 1917 „angry about the selfwill“ of Georgians. He does not fully represent the illegal actions by Russian secular and religious authorities towards of the Church of Georgia. This misapprehension is not due to the lack of material available to the priest Evgeny
