Peningkatan Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Tomat Akibat Aplikasi Kompos dan Pupuk Organik Cair.
Perbaikan pembudidayaan tomat pada media polybag melalui aplikasi kompos dan pupuk organik cair perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tomat pada media polybag. Kompos dan pupuk organir cair memiliki unsur hara yang dibtuhkan tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi kompos dan pupuk organik cair dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada areal di Binjai Sumatera Utara pada bulan Mei - Juli 2020. Penelitian ini memakai Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 blok. Faktor K (kompos) dan Faktor C (pupuk organik cair). Aplikasi kompos yang terbaik K1 ( 25% kompos + 75% top soil) pada media polybag. Aplikasi kompos memberikan pengaruh yang nyata pada penelitian ini dibandingkan tanpa aplikasi kompos
Pengaruh Aplikasi Pembenah Tanah Terhadap Pertumbuhan, Produksi dan Kualitas Beberapa Varietas Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.)
Ameliorant are used to create an environment that supports plant growth and production.The aim of this research is to know the potency of some varieties of shallot plant (Allium ascalonicum L) grown on lowland, to determine the effect of ameliorant application in improving and increasing pH, C-Organic, CEC and N-total soil as well as growth, production and quality shallot plants and know the effect of soil enhancer interaction on some varieties of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.).This research was conducted on research field located in subdistrictLabuhan Deli Deli District Serdang Sumatera Utara. Soil analysis was conducted in research and technology laboratory and leaf chlorophyll analysis in plant physiology laboratory of mathematics and natural sciences faculty university of Sumatera Utara. pH analysis performed at the basic science laboratory and experimental field of university development of Panca Budi Medan from February to August 2017. This research used Factorial Random Block Design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was varieties (V) and the second factor was the ameliorant (P). The results showed that the Super Philip varieties produced the highest yield, and had the highest quercetin value among other varieties treatments grown on the lowlands. Application of ameliorant can increase pH, C-Organic, CEC and N-total soil and can increase the production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L). There was no significant interaction between soil application and shallot varieties for all parameters tested, but the best wet weight production was found in the treatment of Super Philip varieties with urban waste compost application 1 kg / m2.Pembenah tanah digunakan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dari beberapa varietas tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) yang ditanam pada dataran rendah, menentukan pengaruh aplikasi pembenah tanah dalam memperbaiki dan meningkatkan pH, C-Organik, KTK dan N-total tanah serta pertumbuhan, produksi dan kualitas tanaman bawang merah dan mengetahui pengaruh interaksi aplikasi pembenah tanah terhadap beberapa varietas bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada lahan penelitian yang berada di Kecamatan Labuhan Deli Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera utara. Analisa tanah dilakukan pada Laboratorium Riset dan Teknologi dan analisa klorofil daun di Laboratorium Fisiologi Tumbuhan Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di Universitas Sumatera Utara. Analisa pH dilakukan pada Laboratorium Ilmu Dasar dan Kebun Percobaan Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 blok. Faktor pertama adalah varietas (V) dan Faktor Kedua adalah pembenah tanah (P). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Super Philip menghasilkan produksi tertinggi, serta memiliki nilai quercetin tertinggi diantara perlakuan varietas lainnya yang ditanam pada dataran rendah. Aplikasi pembenah tanah mampu meningkatkan pH, C-Organik, KTK dan N-total tanah serta mampu meningkatkan produksi bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L). Increasing the Growth and Quality of Oil Palm Seeds (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) by Selecting the Position of Fruit Bunches and Dormancy Breaking Methods
Oil palm reproduces by seeds and will germinate to grow further into plants. This study aims to determine the effect of the position of fruit bunches and various methods of breaking dormancy on the germination of coconut seeds palm. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of 2 factors with 18 combinations and 2 replications. The first factor is the position of the fruit on the oil palm bunch which consists of 6 positions of the fruit bunch, as follows: the base of the inner fruit bunch (PT), the base of the outer fruit bunch (PL), the middle of the inner fruit bunch (TD), the middle of the inner fruit bunch outer (TL), inner fruit bunch tip (UD), outer fruit bunch tip (UL) The second factor is various methods of breaking dormancy with the symbol (P), namely Ecoenzyme Soaking (P1), Gibberellin Soaking (P2), oven system ( P3). Parameters observed included germination rate (%), percentage of normal sprouts (%), percentage of abnormal sprouts (%), radicle exit age (days), plumule exit age (days), radicle length (cm) and plumule length (cm). The results showed that the position of the oil palm fruit bunches and the dormancy breaking method gave a significant response to the germination parameters of 53.33% (fruit bunches) 49.33% (oven system), normal germination percentage 43.33% (fruit bunches) 38.89% (oven system), radicle exit age 36 days (bundle position) 37.17 days (oven system), plumule exit age 54.67 days (fruit bunches) 59.25 days (oven system), radicle length 1.98 cm (bunch position) 1.60 cm (oven system), and plumule length 1.78 cm (bunch position) 1.42 cm (oven system) and gave no significant response to the percentage of abnormal sprouts (%). Increasing The Growth And Production Of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata) by Giving Chicken Manure And Vegetable Waste Liquid Organic Fertilizer
Applying organic fertilizers can improve the physical and biological properties of the soil. One of the organic fertilizers that can be used is chicken manure with the addition of POC vegetable waste. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying organic chicken manure and POC vegetable waste on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata). This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 16 combinations and 3 blocks. The first factor is the application of organic chicken manure (A), which consists of 4 levels. 0 g/plot, 700 g/plot, 1400 g/plot, 2100 g/plot. The second factor is the provision of POC of vegetable waste (S) which consists of 4 levels, namely, 0 ml/liter of water/plot, 300 ml/liter of water/plot, 500 ml/liter of water/plot, 700 ml/liter of water/plot.The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), cob length (cm), cob diameter (cm) and production weight using klobot per plot (g). The results showed that the application of organic chicken manure had a significant effect on Production weight parameters used husks per plot (g) and had no significant effect on plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), cob length (cm) and cob diameter (cm)
Growth response of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) varieties on municipal waste compost application
Growth of shallot plants could be increased through good plant cultivation such as using organic materials that can improve physical, chemical and biological properties in the soil and contain macro and micronutrients so that organic matter is needed in the form of municipal waste compost. The research objective was to study the responsiveness of the growth of onion varieties due to the application of municipal waste compost. This research was carried out in the Bandar Senembah village Binjai district Barat in February-March 2019. The study used a randomized block design (RAK) with 2 factors and 3 blocks. The first factor is the variety (V) and the second factor is Municipal waste compost (K). The results showed that that the best varieties are varieties Bima Brebes. Where the variety showed the highest leaf length per sample and highest number of tillers per sample while the application of municipal waste compost does not show a significant effect on parameters of leaf length per sample but for the number of tillers per sample shows a significant effect where the best results in the application of 3 kg/m2 (plot) municipal waste compost.

Peningkatan Tanaman akibat Aplikasi Pembenah Tanah terhadap Beberapa Varietas Bawang Merah
Tanaman bawang merah dapat ditingkatkan melalui teknik budidaya yang tepat seperti dalam pemilihan varietas dan aplikasi bahan organik sebagai pembenah tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan tanaman beberapa varietas bawang merah akibat aplikasi pembenah tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada areal pertanian Desa Manunggal, Kecamatan Labuhan Deli Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada bulan Februari sampai Juni 2017. Penelitian ini memakai Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 blok. Faktor pertama adalah varietas (V) dan faktor kedua adalah pembenah tanah (P). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa varietas yang terunggul adalah varietas Super Philip, dimana varietas tersebut menunjukkan hasil produksi dari bobot kering per sampel yang paling banyak sedangkan aplikasi pembenah tanah tidak menujukkan pengaruh yang nyata pada penelitian ini
Laboratory tests of blade radius variation on vertical shaft savonius turbine performance
Wind turbines are one of the machines that are currently still used to convert wind kinetic energy so that they can be used by humans such as to drive pumps in agriculture and produce electrical energy. Savonius turbine is a vertical axis turbine that is currently widely used as an electrical energy generator, this wind turbine is a type of drag type wind turbine that has a simple design that is in the form of a semicircular curved blade side. Therefore, the author is interested in researching the resulting performance including turbine rotational speed, power generated, and wind turbine efficiency against the variation of the blade radius. The method used is experimental, the stages of this research are in the form of literature studies, making savonius turbines, testing savonius turbines with variations in blade radius as well as data retrieval, data processing, and analysis. Based on the data obtained, the rotating speed of the turbine is influenced by variations in the radius of the blade. The larger the blade radius, the smaller the turbine rotational speed. The maximum turbine rotation speed at blade radius 63 is 173 rpm, while at blade radius, 88 is 118 rpm and at blade radius 113 is 115 rpm. So the highest turbine rotating speed at a radius of 63
Efektivitas Aplikasi Biochar Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tiga Varietas Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.)
Bawang merah merupakan salah satu komoditas utama sebagai penyumbang inflasi, dimana bawang merah memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian khususnya di Provinsi Sumatera Utara, dalam meningkatkan produksi bawang merah dapat dilakukan dengan perbaikan teknik budidaya yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas aplikasi biochar terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tiga varietas bawang merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu varietas (bima, super philip dan medan lokal samosir) dan biochar (0 g/plot, 400 g/plot dan 800 g/plot). Parameter yang diamati yaitu panjang daun (cm), bobot basah umbi per plot (g) dan bobot kering umbi per plot (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian biochar dengan dosis 800 g/plot lebih baik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah. Varietas bima menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang daun tertinggi untuk pertumbuhan tanaman dibandingkan varietas Super Philip dan Medan Lokal Samosir namun produksi varietas Super Philip menghasilkan bobot basah umbi perplot dan bobot kering umbi per plot tertinggi dibanding varietas Bima dan Medan Lokal Samosir
Analysis of information systems strategic planning using ward and peppard framework case e-commerce company
<p>The e-commerce industry which is developing significantly is always required to be able to adapt well to technological developments where information systems/information technologies (IS/IT) strategic planning must be further developed to support the company's business processes. In this research, the authors focus on analyzing how the information systems strategic planning is currently underway at an e-commerce company. The author uses the ward and peppard framework to analyze the business environment and IS/IT environment internally and externally. Many methods have been developed within the framework such as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis which focus on exposure the company's internal and external conditions, McFarlan strategic grid focus on assessing the overall contribution of IS/IT, and its impact on business success, from both a strategic, and operational perspective, value chain focus on optimizing technology, and business applications, political, economic, social, and technological (PEST) analysis focus on considerations of legal, political, economic, social, and technological developments, critical success factor (CSF) analysis focus on product quality priorities, customer service, product prices, company resources, and technology used. The results of the analysis of these methods are the results of this study, namely the results of portfolio application recommendations for the next four years which can be used as a reference for companies to develop their business strategic planning systems.</p>
