Remarks on some of the Smarandache's problem. Part 2
In 1999, the second author of this remarks published a book over 30 of Smarandache's problems in area of elementary number theory (see [1, 2]). After this, we worked over new 20 problems that we collected in our book [28]. These books contain Smarandache's problems, described in [10, 16]. The present paper contains some of the results from [28]

SHOULD WE BE READING MLADEN BARBARIĆ’S MANUSCRIPTS?
Mladen Barbarić (1873-1936), born in Ilok, belonged to the Franciscan order and acted in accordance with his priestly duties as the abbot of Ilok’s Franciscan monastery, and was highly active in Ilok’s social life. Namely, at the begining of the 20th century, Barbarić founded a private, jolly society called »Tikvara«, which gathered reputable citizens of various trades from Ilok. This society was nominally based around fishing, but this wasn’t the case at all; its purpose was to allow its members to socialize. Their leisurely gatherings were further enriched with their own form of literary entertainment called Udica (fishhook); a magazine under the editorial purview of the abbot of Ilok’s Franciscan monastery, i.e. Mladen Barbarić himself. All of this is known from Barbarić’s autobiography, Tikvarija, which contains his memoirs as a manuscript, issues of Udica, and Barbarić’s handwritten poetry, dedicated to the so-called fisherman of Tikvara. The focus of this work is precisely those preserved manuscripts, which reveal a new side of Mladen Barbarić, who spent his leisurely afternoons having fun in good company, as well as his anacreontic handwritten poetry, which naturally alters our established views on the literary accomplishments of author from Srijem
ORATORIO CHOIR OF ST. MARK DURING THE CONDUCTING PERIOD OF MLADEN POZAJIĆ AS SEEN BY THE CONTEMPORARY CRITICS
Oratorio choir of St. Mark was founded in 1920 and it is still active today. Many of conductors of this choir were quite famous at their time. From the August 1926 until August 1927, and then later, from 1930 until 1937 the choir conductor was Mladen Pozajić. In this period
the choir preformed tunes of some the old masters, as well as melodies of the contemporary composers, which varied in style, and some of them were premieres written just for this choir. Contemporary critics followed the work of the choir, and among them one can easily notice some that wrote about certain notable performances, as for example the performance of Liszt’s Christus. Therefore, author analyzes work and activities of this oratorio choir during the conducting of Mladen Pozajić, as it was seen by the contemporary critics

adequacy and financial sustainability
Poetry for children by Mladen Kušec
Poetry for children by Mladen Kušec aims to present the poetic work of this distinctive author and describe the possibility of using Kušec's poetry in working with children in kindergarten. The first part provides a general overview of Croatian children's literature and its poetic features. The second chapter is dedicated to the distinctive work of Mladen Kušec, who is best known as a long-term media worker, who has created children's shows on HRT for over 50 years. The third chapter is dedicated to poetry collections - from the earliest Dobar dan i Volim te, published in the 1970s, with their themes and motifs introducing Kušec to contemporary Croatian poets - all the way to his latest collection of poems: Kako vrijeme leti leti ... brzo! The role and importance of poetry in the development of speech and why poetry should be given priority over prose, is discussed in the fourth chapter, while the last chapter discusses the possibility of using Kušec's poetry in working with children in kindergarten. The activities for children based on several Kušecs poems and riddles are described and discussed

All of his grateful students will eternally keep in memory everything professor Jovanović had to teach them, not only about English, linguistics or translation, but also about life in general, about human kindness and the indispensable ingredients that composed a true professor
Dual education and equity : review from the perspective of french sociology of education
obrazovnih šansi i uspostavljanje pravičnijeg društva.
Bearing in mind that the Strategy for Education Development in Serbia perceives the existence of
a “justice issue” in education in Serbia, and that one of the stated goals of education development
is creating a “socially just society”, this paper explores to which extent adopting the Law on Dual
Education and public insistence on expansion of this mode of education are the steps towards reducing
injustice. Relying on the ideas of different French sociologists of education (Bourdieu, Boudon,
Baudelot and Establet), the paper examines to which extent dual education opens up the space for
balancing educational opportunities and establishing a more just society. From theoretical insights
of the aforementioned authors regarding the relation between class structures and educational
opportunities, it can be concluded that any “branching” within an educational system contributes to
greater inequalities, as explicitly asserted by Raymond Boudon. The characteristics of dual education
correlate to the “primary professional” education mentioned by Baudelot and Establet, illustrating
that such education is intended for students from underprivileged social strata, who have limited
opportunities for vertical social mobility due to this kind of education. By analysing various interest
optics of the actors, Bourdieu finds that general education, as opposed to company training, provides
workers with a certain form of freedom because it makes them less attached to a single company.
The school system associated with industry, in the opinion of this author, is shaped by the interests
of employers and contrary to the interests of workers, as it makes society less fair by reducing the
chances of vertical and horizontal social mobility. Based on the above, it can be concluded that dual
education does not contribute to reducing social inequalities, and that in order to create a fairer
society, such educational policies should be abandoned.Zbornik rezimea / 24. Međunarodna naučna konferencija "Pedagoška istraživanja i

The leading members of the Croat Peasant Party were also involved in that action. By an intervention of Pavelić, the action was suddenly interrupted and conspirators arrested. The author publishes M. Lorković's letter to Pavelić, which he w rote from his house confinement. The letter demonstrates that Pavelić himself was involved in the action of siding with the Allies
Random rates of return in financial and insurance mathematics
Title: Random rates of return in financial and insurance mathematics Author: Mladen Pejic Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Jitka Zichová, Dr., Department of Probability and Mathema- tical Statistics Abstract in English language: The thesis is focused on the study of stochastic life annuities. It represents a combination of basic probability with financial mathe- matics and life insurance. The first part is focused on financial mathematics. Special attention is paid to the calculation of present and future values of annui- ties with stochastic interest rates. In the second part, we demonstrate the use of random interest rates in calculations of present values of annuities related to life insurance. In the third part, we focus on the application of log - normal distribu- tion, which is mostly used in real life problems. In the last part, a numerical study is presented. We asses the effect of the log - normal distribution parameters on the present value of the annuities and we examine the accuracy of the estimates made by the method of moments. i
