Peter Kean wrote from Ursino to Charles Ludlow, address not included. He wrote regarding a debt that Richard Duncan owed Peter Van Brugh Livingston, his deceased grandfather, and Susan Ursin Niemcewicz, his mother. the debt was to be paid after Duncan sold his property, the Hermitage. However, if sold for cash the property would sell for significantly less than if sold on credit. Peter asked if it is acceptable to his uncle\u27s executors if the property is sold for credit and Duncan paid them by a mortgage.
