This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of current transport routes and the subsequent design of alternatives for the company Lagarde Spedition spol. s r. o. Transport relations are evaluated, and the results are determined through selected methods. The derived results are evaluated and compared in the last chapter.Dopravní fakulta Jana PerneraProblematiku řešenou ve své bakalářské práci dokázal student odpovídajícím způsobem obhájit. Can a European Monetary Fund address the weaknesses of the Eurozone?
This dissertation examines measures in response to the European sovereign debt crisis aimed at achieving closer fiscal union. The first is the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) which provides financial assistance to Euro area member states beset by budgetary difficulties. The second is the establishment of a Euroepan Monetary Fund as a permanent Euro area support fund to be based in the EFSF. The author analyses the suitability of the establishment of a European Monetary Fund as a measure to avoid future crises. Special attention is paid to the legal basis and feasibility of the measures in question
Acute hyperthermia and hypoxia resistances of 6 isogenic lines of rainbow trout at early and late ages
The datasets are 1) the resistance phenotypes of 6 isogenic lines of rainbow trout challenged to acute hypoxia stress at an early stage (182-187 days post-hatching), 2) the resistance phenotypes of 6 isogenic lines of rainbow trout challenged to acute hyperthermia stress at an early stage (182-187 days post-hatching), 3) the resistance phenotypes of 6 isogenic lines of rainbow trout challenged to acute hypoxia stress at a late stage (455-460 days post-hatching), and 4) the resistance phenotypes of 6 isogenic lines of rainbow trout challenged to acute hyperthermia stress at a late stage (455-460 days post-hatching). The environmental conditions during resistance phenotyping are also given in each of the 4 datasets. Resistance phenotypes were measured as the time before loss of equilibrium.
All the information about the rearing and the phenotyping of isogenic lines are provided in the open-access article:

Confronting feminicidio in Mexico: pioneering anthropologist and activist Marcela Lagarde y de los Ríos
This is a short piece on academic and activist Marcela Lagarde y de Los Ríos' contribution to the issue of homicides of women in Mexico. She coined the term feminicidio, which squarely placed these murders as acts of misogyny and a product of patriarchal society. Lagarde became a public servant and supported research on feminicidio. She played a critical role in the development adoption of Mexico's General Law for a Woman’s Access to a Life Free from Violence in 2007.

Lagarde´s proposal of a central bank digital currency is worth to think about
Oliver Hinz: Christine Lagarde recently argued for a Central Bank Digital Currency. Indeed, there are reasons why central banks should consider this option
Diffusive author(s), cohesive author: Analysis of S/N (1994)
This study indicates the ways in which various aspects of the author(s) are brought forth in Dumb type’s performance art, the S/N production. Previous research has suggested a non-hierarchical organization of Dumb type and the absence of a “privileged author” in Dumb type’s collaborative work, S/N. However, the results that I have investigated from member’s interviews on the creative process of S/N along with my analysis of the recorded images of S/N, indicate a different aspect of the author(s). First, S/N was created through, so to speak, the collective ideas of the members of Dumb type. Further, S/N has at least nine quotations from previous performances, installations, and printed writings, besides the work-in-progress technique. Explicating one of the “author functions” as given by Michel Foucault, each text has plural subjects of the author. However, it has been revealed from members’ interviews that Teiji Furuhashi had a decision-making role in selecting the members’ ideas within the performance. Since then, S/N has had plural subjects of creation; however, Furuhashi is one of the subjects of creation along with the “privileged author.” S/N has plural authors (diffusive authors) yet at the same time, it has a “privileged author,” Teiji Furuhashi (cohesive author)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Invasive Spartina densiflora Brongn. Reduces primary productivity in a northern California salt marsh
Thesis (M.S.)--Humboldt State University, Natural Resources: Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, 2012Comprehensive primary productivity measurements of the impact of invasive species are important environmental indicators. This study obtained measurements of the impact of invasive Spartina densiflora on the primary productivity of a Humboldt Bay (California) salt marsh using above and belowground biomass measurements coupled with paired closed-chamber carbon dioxide flux measurements. Compared to samples dominated by native vegetation, samples dominated by S. densiflora displayed higher aboveground net primary productivity, lower belowground net primary productivity, lower net primary productivity, and lower net ecosystem exchange measurements; thus, S. densiflora colonization reduced primary productivity. Benthic macroalgal cover was a strong predictor of net ecosystem exchange. In plots dominated by S. densiflora, less benthic macroalgae was present and less photosynthetically active radiation reached the substratum. Therefore, increased shading of the sediment surface in plots dominated by S. densiflora contributed to lower net ecosystem exchange measurements. These results greatly improve our understanding of the impact of S. densiflora on the primary productivity of Humboldt Bay salt marsh ecosystems. This publication was prepared by Luc Lagarde under NOAA Grant #NA10OAR4170060, California Sea Grant College Program Project #R/ANS-213EPD, through NOAA???s National Sea Grant College Program, U.S. Dept. of Commerce; and was supported in part by California Conservation Corps.
