Homo Economicus Dan Homo Islamicus Menurut Plato Dan Alfarabi: Analisis Pengaruhnya Terhadap Gaya Konsumserism

    Get PDF

The halal label is an important thing in society, especially for Indonesian people, the majority of whose population adheres to Islam. Researchers found that there are several food products consumed by Muslims that have not included a halal label. Mini Market Latansa Gontor 5 of the 100 products sold 20 of them have not been labelled halal, which means 20% do not have a halal label. The methodology that researchers use is quantitative which is a field survey by taking a sample of 130 teachers of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor 5 Magelang. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence and how much influence the halal label has on the interest in purchasing food products at Mini Market Latansa Gontor 5. The data obtained is then processed using the IBM SPSS v.21 application. The results obtained are, of the 20 statements with an error rate of 5%, rCount is greater than rTable with a value level of 0.159, meaning that all statements are valid. The reliability test obtained a Cronbach alpha value of 78.9% for questionnaire X (halal label) and 88.3% for questionnaire Y (consumer purchase interest) greater than 60%, meaning that both questionnaires are reliable. From the results of the simple linear regression test, the probability number is 0.000, which is smaller than 0.5, meaning that there is a significant relationship between X (halal label) and Y (consumer purchase interest). From the results of the T test, it is obtained that the Thitung amount of the level of influence of halal labelling on purchasing interest is 11.398 greater than 1.97838, meaning that variable X has a real influence on variable Y. From the results of the detirminization coefficient test (R2), the result is 0.504, meaning that the level of influence of variable X (halal label) on variable Y (consumer purchase interest) is 50.4%, while the remaining 49.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study

••• English ••• Information technology that has developed so rapidly in recent years has directed the focus of large banks to digital services, including mobile banking. The internet's rapid growth is changing how companies connect with their customers, and the banking business is no exception. Of course, the concept of blessing must be prioritized by every Muslim, especially in banking institutions. This research aims to analyse the BSI Mobile application's existing mobile banking service system. In 2021, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) started to merge 3 (three) Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, at the same time, to support the development of information technology (especially in banking), BSI has also created a BSI Mobile application to facilitate transactions. This research is qualitative research with a grounded research approach and uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. However, even though the service system in the BSI Mobile application has met customer needs and is under the basic principles of sharia, many customers or the Muslim community who have not used it do not even know the system and application. Ultimately, it will impact applications that cannot be utilized optimally. Based on the results of research that the researcher have done, the BSI mobile banking service system should emphasize the publication and socialization of BSI Mobile products with various methods, including approaches that use sharia principles because legal regulations will be applied due to threats and legal causes that occur. Comparative Study of Consumption Theories: The Perspective of John Maynard Keynes and Monzer Kahf

    Get PDF
This study aims to compare the consumption theories of John Maynard Keynes, a conventional economist, and Monzer Kahf, an Islamic economist. The main objective is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each approach while emphasizing how both theories contribute to economic growth and stability. This study uses a qualitative methodology, thoroughly analyzing primary and secondary sources on the works of both economists. Through comparative analysis, this study evaluates the core concepts and assumptions of each theory. The findings show that Keynes' approach is concerned with individual consumption and its impact on savings and economic growth, while Kahf's theory encourages consumption for the collective good in accordance with Islamic principles. The study concludes that combining elements of both theories can offer a more balanced approach, which at the same time enhances social welfare and economic stability

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
