No full textDissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos da Tradução, Florianópolis, 2013.Com a intenção de delinear o modo pelo qual o escritor italiano Alessandro Baricco se inseriu no sistema literário brasileiro e os caminhos percorridos pelos seus livros traduzidos, esta dissertação dá voz às experiências tradutórias de seus tradutores. A inserção de Bariccono Brasil tem seu início em 1997, através de uma proposição da Profa. Dra. Roberta Barni à editora Iluminuras da tradução de Oceano Mare. A partir daí, outras sete obras foram publicadas no Brasil, sendo três delas traduzidas por Roberta Barni e as outras quatro por quatro tradutores diferentes. De um lado, considera-se o tradutor como figura principal namediação entre culturas, e, de outro, se analisa a realidade desta figuradentro do sistema literário, sua invisibilidade, seus limites e o exercíciode sua profissão. A pesquisa conta, ainda, com críticas e resenhas referentes ao autor italiano publicadas em jornais consagrados no Brasil, considerando estas como parte constituinte da imagem de Baricco refletida em território nacional. Abstract : Intending to delineate the way the Italian writer Alessandro Baricco has been inserted in the Brazilian literary system and the paths his translated books have followed, this thesis gives voice to the translating experiences of his translators. Baricco's insertion in Brazil began in 1997, through a personal project of Dr. Roberta Barni, with her translation of Oceano Mare. Since then, seven other of his works have been published in Brazil, three of which were translated by Roberta Barni and the other four by four different translators. On the one hand,the translator is considered as the main figure in mediation betweencultures and, on the other, this figure's reality is analyzed within theliterary system: its invisibility, its limits and its professional practice. Criticisms and reviews of this Italian author published in well established Brazilian newspapers are also considered, with the understanding that they are part of Baricco's image reflected here
Avaliação dos efeitos centrais do extrato aquoso (EA) de Stachytarpheta cayennensis Vahl
No full textDissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências BiológicasNo presente estudo, investigamos as ações do EA de S. cayennensis no sistema nervoso central (SNC) de camundongos, procurando avaliar uma possível atividade que pudesse contribuir para as ações farmacológicas descritas na literatura. Camundongos Swiss fêmeas foram tratados com EA de S. cayennensis (0,25; 0,5 e 1 g/kg) ou água (controle) por via intragástrica e, após 3 h, foram submetidos a diferentes testes comportamentais: labirinto em cruz elevado, nado forçado, comportamento estereotipado, convulsões induzidas por pentilenotetrazol e eletrochoque transcorneal máximo, sono barbitúrico e etéreo, temperatura retal, movimentação e rota-rod. Nossos resultados mostraram que o tratamento oral agudo com o EA de S. cayennensis somente potenciou o sono barbitúrico, evidenciando a falta de atividade central do extrato em estudo. Investigou-se então a hipótese do EA interferir em vias metabolizadoras hepáticas do pentobarbital. O aumento dos níveis plasmáticos de pentobarbital após o tratamento com o EA indicou um efeito inibidor do sistema enzimático hepático responsável pela metabolização do pentobarbital, sem qualquer sinal de hepatotoxicidade. Assim, a potenciação do sono produzida pelo EA deveu-se simplesmente a um efeito farmacocinético e não a uma atividade no SN
La maturità di Alessandro Fei del Barbiere, in bilico tra Maniera e Riforma
No full textThis article studies the mature career of the Florentine painter Alessandro Fei del Barbiere (1537-1592), beginning with the rediscovery of the 'Ascension' altarpiece formerly in the Albizi Chapel in the destroyed church of San Pier Maggiore, Florence. Studying this painting and others recorded in 1584 by the biographer Raffaello Borghini, such as the two altarpieces for Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Madonna dell'Umiltà in Pistoia, the author reconstructs a body of works showing how in the 1580s Fei gradually went beyond the archaic style of his apprenticeship - he had been trained by Ridolfo del Ghirlandaio and Pierfrancesco Foschi, but was also marked by the Maniera of Vasari - evolving towards naturalism in both mimesis and pictorial handling. In Florence, his development partly parallels that of Santi di Tito and his circle, but Fei was also influenced by a probable sojourn during the early part of that decade in Rome, where he could have been inspired by Girolamo Muziano and the painters working for Pope Gregory XIII. Among other proposals, the author suggests that the artist was responsible for decorating the chancel of Fiesole Cathedral (c. 1584-1589), which consisted of an altarpiece, only rarely discussed by scholars, and a cycle of frescoes hitherto attributed to Nicodemo Ferrucci

La responsabilità disciplinare nel rapporto di lavoro con la Pubblica Amministrazione
No full textThe thesis concerns «The disciplinary responsibility in the labour relationship with the public administration».
Despite the differences with the system of private labour, related to peculiarities of public employment, the legislator is still following the trend of privatization, even after the reform of 2009.
The first chapter analyses the legal basis of disciplinary power, its function and sources of law system regulating disciplinary responsibility. After the so-called “Brunetta Reform”, disciplinary power maintains a private nature, grounded on the employment contract. D.Lgs. no. 150/2009 has enlarged the institutions explicitly regulated by legislative provisions and narrowed the role of collective bargaining agreements. Nonetheless it has not caused a return to a public system of regulation. The disciplinary provisions do not directly aim the protection of public interests, but a private one, concerning the contract of employment. Also the direct effect of the “public employees behaviour code”, provided for by L. n. 190/2012, does not demonstrate that the code is aimed to protect public interests, as proved by a comparison with ethical codes of private enterprises.
The second chapter concerns disciplinary infringements and sanctions. It starts with considerations about public employees’ contractual obligation, especially about due of loyalty, analysed in relationship with the provisions about incompatibility. The pros and cons of the new regulation on the publication of the disciplinary code on Public administration website are also underlined. The disciplinary infringements introduced by legislative provisions are analyzed in comparison with the ones provided by collective bargaining agreements, trying to give an interpretation with the regulation relevant with the principles of private employment contract. Sanctions provided by the legislator are
still to be applied under the proportionality principle. They are aimed to re-establish the regular labour activity. The chapter is concluded by remarks on conservative sanctions and recidivism.
The third chapter analyses some aspects of the disciplinary proceeding, with special reference to time limits and active subjects, in relationship with the function of the disciplinary power. On the basis of the new regulation on the time limits of the disciplinary procedure, the legislator has endorsed public managers with the responsibility of granting the effectiveness of the disciplinary system. Moreover, the
research analyses the limits of collective bargaining agreements’ competence, and how they have performed these their function. The public administration maintains a discretionary power on sanctions. This is proved by the analysis of the discretionary conciliation on disciplinary sanctions (art. 55, par. 3, D.Lgs. no. 165/2001), facultative conciliation (art. 410 et seq C.P.C.) and arbitration. The last is still provided by legislation but cannot be established and regulated by collective bargaining agreement.
Finally the fourth chapter deals with the disciplinary responsibility of the public managers, who have the assignment to wield the power on other public employees with no directive position. Disciplinary action is compulsory by law. However, some exceptions are provided on the basis of certain interpretations of art. 55 sexies, par. 3, D.Lgs. no. 165/2001. According to these ideas, managers are allowed not to apply sanctions under a justified reason, on the basis of their discretional evaluation. Nevertheless, a power whose use is provided as compulsory by law is not necessarily aimed to a public interest. In some cases the compulsory use of powers is provided also in the private sector. In this chapter pros and cons of the new rules on the application of conservative sanctions on public managers are emphasized, and some proposals are formulated in order to improve the effectiveness of the relevant legal regime. The thesis ends with some remarks about the dismissal of public managers, and about the protection in case of unjustified dismissal, considering also the debate about the application to the public employment of the art. 18, L. no. 300/1970, modified by L. no. 92/201
