Novel poly(l-lactide)/poly(d-lactide)/poly(tetrahydrofuran) multiblock copolymers with a controlled architecture: Synthesis and characterization
No full textNovel poly(L-lactide) (PLLA)/poly(D-lactide) (PDLA)/poly(tetrahydrofuran) (PTHF) multiblock copolymers with designed molecular structure were synthesized by a two-stage procedure. Well-defined PDLA-PLLA-PTHF-PLLA-PDLA pentablock copolymers were prepared by sequential ring opening polymerization of L- and D-lactides starting from PTHF glycol, with the length of the (equimolar) PLLA and PDLA blocks being varied. Then, these dihydroxyl-terminated pentamers were transformed into multiblock copolymers by melt chain-extension with hexamethylene diisocyanate-being the first time that the coupling of pentablock units is reported. The successful formation of macromolecular chains with a multiblock and well-defined architecture was demonstrated by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The thermal properties and structuring of the resulting materials were investigated by means of DSC and WAXD measurements and DMA analysis. Stereocomplexation was found to be promoted during solution and melt crystallization. This approach affords materials combining the high rigidity and strength (other than improved thermal resistance) of the hard stereocomplex crystallites with the flexibility imparted by the soft block, whereby their properties can be finely tailored through the composition of the basic pentablock units without limitations on the final molecular weight. The adopted reaction conditions make this process highly appealing in view of the possibility to perform it in extruder

técnicas de expresión plástica en la motricidad fina en niños de 4 años de la Institución
Educativa Inicial N° 351, San Martin de Porres, UGEL 02 – Rímac? con una población
de 30 niños de 4 años del nivel inicial donde se trabajó con un no probabilístico
intencional, el objetivo general fue: Determinar la influencia de las técnicas de expresión
plástica en la motricidad fina en niños de 4 años de la Institución Educativa Inicial N°
351, San Martin de Porres, UGEL 02 – Rímac, el método fue experimental utilizando fue
el diseño pre experimental, se aplicó la técnica evaluación educativa y el instrumento fue
prueba pedagógica. El resultado obtenido de 30 niños, en el nivel “logro” (L) el 100%
(30) niños desarrollan habilidades motoras finas, en las que se observa la coordinación de
los movimientos de los pequeños músculos. Es decir, desarrollaron los músculos de las
manos, muñecas, pies, dedos, boca y lengua. La coordinación ocular relacionada con las
habilidades motoras es obvia. De esta forma, pueden realizar tareas cotidianas al mismo
tiempo: ojos, manos, dedos, boca, lengua, pies, forma de vestir, atarse los cordones de los
zapatos, soplar, cepillar los dientes, comer, rasgar, cortar, pintar, recoger objetos,
colorear, escribir y muchos más. Estos resultados nos permitieron llegar a la siguiente
conclusión: Las técnicas de expresión plástica influyen significativamente en la
motricidad fina en niños de 4 años de la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 351, San Martin
de Porres, UGEL 02 – Rímac
Durable graphite oxide nanocoating for high performing flame retarded foams
No full textRecent developments in the design of water-based coatings encompassing platelet-like nanoparticles have clearly demonstrated the flame retardant potential of this approach for open cell flexible foams. However, the relatively high number of deposition steps required and the limited reports on the durability of the deposited coatings to multiple compression cycles currently represent the main constraints to this approach. This paper addresses these limitations by exploiting a few steps deposition procedure to produce coatings with durable flame retardant properties. Graphite oxide, sodium alginate and sodium hexametaphosphate were combined in a continuous protective coating that extends to the complex three-dimensional structure of the foam. The flame retardant properties of the coatings were evaluated before and after 1000 compression cycles. Even after such multiple deformations, the coated foams showed no melt dripping and self-extinguishment during flammability tests, as well as a highly reduced heat release rates (-70%) and total smoke release (-70%) during cone calorimetry tests. Furthermore, the ability to withstand the penetration of an impinging flame focused on one side of the coated foam for more than 5 min was also maintained. These results clearly demonstrate the durability of the coated foams, opening to real life application fields such as transports seats where high levels of flame retardancy must be maintained for long time under frequent mechanical stress
