A cultura de antera de pessegueiro (Prunus persica L. Batsch).
No full textCom o objetivo de se chegar rapidamente à obtenção de cultivares homozigõticas, fontes de conhecimentos novos de hereditariedade de certos caracteres a serem utiizados como base para programas de melhoramento, foi proposta a técnica de cultura de anteras de pessegueiro. Tal técnica se baseia em modificar, através de cultura in vitro, o processo normal de evolução do grão de pólen para a formação de maciços celulares, mais ou menos organizados, suscetíveis de formar posteriormente a planta haplóide, primeira etapa visando a homozigose. Os resultados obtidos permitem as conclusões resumidas a seguir: -ocorreu a formação de raízes sobre diferentes meios de cultura com ou sem repicagem; - obteve-se a formação de estruturas do tipo "embrionário" diretamente relacionadas com o período de indução e o meio de regeneração

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica.O problema do planejamento da operação energética do Sistema Interligado Nacional (SIN) é bastante peculiar devido, especialmente, à sua dimensionalidade e a grande participação de geração hidrelétrica. A participação majoritária de recursos hídricos exige um planejamento bastante minucioso, uma vez que a capacidade de armazenamento dos reservatórios é limitada e, portanto, a disponibilidade futura de energia dependerá da operação dos reservatórios e das vazões afluentes futuras. Devido às complexidades do problema, no Brasil optou-se por separar os estudos de planejamento da operação energética em etapas de médio prazo, curto prazo e programação diária. O foco deste trabalho é o médio prazo # Planejamento Anual da Operação Energética (PAOE), cujo objetivo consiste em estabelecer estratégias de médio prazo para a operação, por meio da análise das condições de atendimento a demanda no horizonte de estudo. Este trabalho apresenta, então, as metodologias utilizadas no estudo do PAOE realizado no Brasil, como por exemplo, a representação por Reservatório Equivalente de Energia (REE), o modelo AutoRegressivo Periódico (ARP) e a Programação Dinâmica Dual Estocástica (PDDE). Com essas metodologias desenvolveu-se uma plataforma computacional que permite alterar algumas configurações adotadas no Brasil e, assim, analisar as conseqüências nos resultados do PAOE. O principal objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar o efeito no PAOE da representação por REE, quando agregado por Subsistema ou por Cascata; adicionalmente, são analisadas alterações no modelo ARP, na árvore de cenários e no horizonte de estudo. Dessa forma, a partir dos estudos de casos pôde-se concluir que os resultados do REE por Cascata apresentaram maior consistência nos estudos de casos, e que a redução no horizonte de estudo não compromete a política de operação, entre outros aspectos importantes do PAOE. Destaca-se que os casos em que o REE foi agregado por Cascata exigiu um tempo de processamento três vezes maior que o caso equivalente com REE por Subsistema. The Interconnected Brazilian Power System#s operation planning problem is very unique, due to its dimension and high participation of hydroelectric power plants. As a consequence of the latter, it is necessary to perform a very precise hydrothermal scheduling because the reservoirs capacity are limited and, therefore, the energy availability depends on how the reservoirs are operated and the future inflows. Due to the problem#s complexity, the Brazilian hydrothermal scheduling is divided into three stages: long-term, short-term and daily operation programming. This work is focused on the Long-Term Operation Planning (LTOP), which aims to determine an optimal operational strategy through the analysis of the energy market and load supply conditions over the planning period. This work presents the methodologies used in the Brazilian LTOP problem, such as: Energy Equivalent Reservoir (EER), Periodic AutoRegressive (PAR) model and the Stochastic Dual Dynamic Programming (SDDP). In this work, it was implemented a computational platform using the methodologies listed above, in which the user is able to set up different configurations in order to analyze the impact on the LTOP results. This dissertation aims to evaluate de consequences on the LTOP results when the EER is aggregated per Subsystem and per Cascade. Additionally, different configurations for the PAR model, scenario tree and planning horizon are studied. The results obtained in this work indicate that the EER per Cascade presents a more consistent result in the study cases and reducing the planning horizon does not compromise the operational policy, in addition to other important aspects. It is important to point out that the EER per Cascade configuration required three times more running time than when the EER were aggregated per Subsystem

No full textIl lavoro ha per oggetto l'analisi complessiva dei sedici romanzi pubblicati tra il 1987 e il 2010, tutti presso le Editions de Minuit, da Eric Chevillard, una delle voci più originali nell'attuale panorama della narrativa francese. Erede, tra gli altri, di Beckett e Michaux, Chevillard elabora progressivamente un'estetica narrativa dell'incongruo, tesa ad implicare il lettore nella costruzione di un senso che, tra dimensione ludica, invenzione linguistica, decostruzione della plausibilità narrativa, continuamente sfugge a ogni tentativo di categorizzazione.
Nella fase introduttiva, questa analisi si prefigge la presentazione dei romanzi che costituiscono l'intera produzione romanesque di Eric Chevillard. Indicativa di quella riscontrata al momento della lettura, la difficoltà affrontata in sede di descrizione dei testi suggerisce di ricorrere, sin dalle prime battute, a criteri di interpretazione testuale mutuati dalla semiotica, facendo particolare affidamento a quelli di seconda generazione. Proprio dall'analisi delle isotopie in gioco, si può osservare l'evoluzione della scrittura chevillardiana da un punto di vista diacronico, ma anche l'esistenza di un principio negativo da cui emanano tutti testi.
Tale considerazione preliminare trova pienamente conferma nella disparità dei giudizi espressi dai critici, che spesso sembrano contraddirsi vicendevolmente. Non a caso, si propone una selezione di etichette presentate per coppie antinomiche che, pur rendendo conto delle mille facettes del testo, finisce per rivelarsi complessivamente inefficace a definirla. Si sancisce, quindi, l'aspetto aporetico del testo chevillardiano, nonché la sua altissima aspirazione ad essere inclassificabile.
Proprio per uscire dai paradossi già palesati dalla Critica, si procede da principi basilari di configurazione testuale, cercando di fornire le chiavi di lettura con cui garantire visibilità all'impalpabile oggetto della narrazione e una certa continuità alla lettura. Nella fattispecie, si pone il testo in un rapporto contrastivo e comparativo con le tre diverse dimensioni testuali rispettivamente ritenute dominanti in ciascuna delle fasi evolutive della scrittura precedentemente determinate: il contesto del lettore nei testi inaugurali, il lato autoreferenziale del romanzo, man mano che la scrittura si radicalizza, e la sua sfera linguistica quanto ai testi catalogati come estremi.
La complessiva labilità del narrato non saprebbe prodursi, se non per mezzo di una figura tutelare altrettanto incerta, attraverso una figura autoriale resa latitante. In quest'ottica, si inscrivono i sottilissimi procedimenti orditi da Chevillard per minare l'auctoritas della (sua) figura autoriale nei testi. Si analizzano, quindi, i dispositivi preposti da Chevillard prima per moltiplicare le figure autoriali, per poi arrivare, nel caso specifico del romanzo autobiografico, persino a nasconderne quasi completamente la presenza.
Per quanto si voglia sufficientemente articolato a render conto della complessità dell'opera, questo lavoro non può chiudersi prima di aver raccolto la sfida lanciatagli dal testo, non senza aver tentato di coglierne l'essenza. Si propone, allora, un'etichetta che sia il più possibile sfumata e mobile, capace di ricalcare le mille sfaccettature di una poetica tanto sfuggente e, al tempo stesso, in grado di collocarla nella scia di una precisa tradizione di riferimento: il loufoque.
Da un punto di vista metodologico, il lavoro propone un approccio semiotico, chiamando in causa anche gli strumenti della narratologia, dell'estetica della ricezione e dell'ermeneutica, con particolare attenzione alle raffigurazioni testuali dell'autore e del lettore. Abbracciando l'intera produzione narrativa di Chevillard se ne indaga inoltre, a tratti, la dimensione intertestuale, spesso sottolineata dalla critica, alla continua ricerca di una collocazione per un'opera tanto accattivante quanto spiazzante.The subject of this work is an elaborate analysis of sixteen novels published between 1987 and 2010, by Minuit publishing house, written by Eric Chevillard, one of the most unique voices in the current panorama of French literature. Chevillard is considered the heir to authors like Beckett and Michaux, due to his progressive elaboration of incongrous aesthetics, woven to involve the reader in the construction of an inner sense that continously escapes every attempt to categorize it, lying between a playful dimension, linguistic invention and the dissembling of plausible fiction.
During the introduction, the analysis begins with a presentation of the entire collection of novels written by Chevillard. Indicative of the challenges found while reading the novels, the difficulty faced in the description of the texts makes it necessary to resort to a semiotic criteria for interpretation. Directly from the analysis of the isotopies described, one can observe the evolution of chevillardian writing from a diachronic point of view as well as the existence of a negative principle from which all of the texts emanate.
A similar preliminary consideration is confirmed by the disagreement in the judgments expressed by critics that offen seem to contradict each other. It is no coincidence that a selection of labels in antonymic pairs is presented: by proceeding in this way, while expressing the mille facettes of the text, the analysis reveals itself as completely inefficient in defining Chevillard poetic writing style. Therefore the aporetical aspect of the chevillardian fiction is sanctioned in the highest aspiration of being unclassifiable.
In order to leave the paradoxes already clearly described by generations of literary critics behind, the analysis proceeds with the elementary principles of the textual configuration and attempts to supply the key points necessary to guarantee the visibility of the impalpable object of the narration and continuity to the reading. In this case, the text is placed in comparison and contrast with the three different textual dimensions respectively considered dominant during each phase of evolution of writing technique formerly determined: the context of the reader in the inaugural creations, the self-referential side of the novel, when the writing becomes increasingly radicalized, and the linguistic sphere in the texts which are described as extreme.
The overall fleeting nature of the narrative never understands how to manifest, if not by means of an author just as uncertain, a fugitive figure. In this light, the extremely subtle warped paths, Chevillard winds into his texts, work to undermine the authorithy of the authorship. Thus, the analysis examines the devices proposed by Chevillard to multiply the textual representations of the author, the same multiplication that finally leads him to hiding almost completely, and specifically in his autobiographical novel, his own presence.
Even attempting to create a sufficiently articulated account of the complexity of these works, this thesis can not be concluded without accepting the challenge offered by the texts themselves, not without searching to capture their essence. A label is proposed that expresses both the nuances and mobility, able to communicate the infinite facades of this ambiguous poetry and, at the same time, able to collocate it in the steps of a precise literary tradition: the loufoque.
From a methodical point of view, this work proposes a semiotic approach, applying the tools of narratology, the aesthetics of reception and the hermeneutics, with particular attention to the textual representation of the author and the reader. Embracing the entire romanesque production of Chevillard implies the examination of its intertextual dimension, often underlined by critics, who continuetly search for a collocation for such intriguing, unnerving fiction

A communication between the intraneural cyst and the proximal tibio-peroneal joint was demonstrated. An hypothesis for the pathogenetic basis of intraneural ganglia is presented

Temporal and spatial relations between patents and scientific journal articles: the case of nanotechnologies
No full textPatent citations have been widely used in order to study inter-technology and science-technology relations. The present work aims at: i) exploring time relations and distance between technical/innovative activities and scientific knowledge, using journal articles citations in patents as a proxy; ii) exploring the origin of the knowledge cited in patents. The study is performed on a field particularly relevant both on the scientific and technological side, that of nanosciences and nanotechnologies. In parallel a field less on the edge of research (polymers) is studied in order to compare results and shed better light on what is happening in nanotech. Studied items show a common behaviour and a higher rate of citations and a shorter time lag between citing patents and cited articles for nanotechnologies rather than for polymers. Knowledge cited in patents shows in many cases a common origin with that of citing documents.
