Digitalized Timber Tracking with QR code is crucial Measures to improve transparency and accountability of timber trade by Myanmar. The purpose of the study is to determine how to assist timber buyers from MTE that the timber can be tracked and has been legally produced , so quick of timber flow . The objectives of this study are to study timber tracking system in Myanmar, to examine quickly get Legality Documents for timber flow, to examine the traceability of logs purchased from MTE. A random sampling method used to collect 10 Companies from timber purchasing clients of MTE in Yangon. The study found that QR Code is essential of timer sale by MTE for providing buyers with legality documents, which can help the timber tracking mechanism and quick of timber flow from the timber stump to the export. Before not developed the QR Code System, clients of MTE was facing too many issues that printed labels with Iron Hammer Mark on top of logs are difficult to recognize/not obvious/incomplete information through these labels, tracking to the stump is not carried out and delay of timber flow from rural depot to Yangon industries. Now, developed QR Code System, there is no need to repeatedly request / wait / maintain a large number of documents as a hard copy. Just by scanning the QR Code on log with mobile phone, all the information will be accessed easily and improve quick of timber flow. The study suggested that MTE should change from the currently implemented Central Station system to a Multi Station system which is the system of QR code related on log start at of local depot . Therefore increasing the technical capacity of MTE and Governments implement timber tracking systems in order to regain control over their timber sector to increase tax revenue as a positive side effect or to have trade advantages such as increased access to premium markets

An agricultural environment monitoring system provides monitoring services and facility controlling services. This system maintains the crop growth rate in an optimal status. This system also reduces the manpower, time consumption and improves the convenience. The existing monitoring systems are used in indoor only or short distance wireless communication technology Wi Fi from sensor nodes to remote center. In addition, the users want to reduce the cost for checking the monitored information in Local Area Network of Smart Farm campus without using the internet access. In order to solve these issues, the agricultural monitoring system must be designed such a way that can monitor environmental information and soil information closely and reports the status to remote location in LAN. The main object of this research is to investigate the development of a low cost remote soil moisture monitoring system by deploying sensors, which can be used in a Zigbee mesh network. This sensors node send data via Zigbee transmitter wirelessly to a Zigbee receiver connected with main computer, which collects the data, stores it and will allow it to be analyzed. This data can be displayed as needed using GUI in VBA and can also be monitored by the clients in LAN. Suppressed translation and ULK1 degradation as potential mechanisms of autophagy limitation under prolonged starvation

Macroautophagy/autophagy is a well-organized process of intracellular degradation, which is rapidly activated under starvation conditions. Recent data demonstrate a transcriptional upregulation of several autophagy genes as a mechanism that controls autophagy in response to starvation. Here we report that despite the significant upregulation of mRNA of the essential autophagy initiation gene ULK1, its protein level is rapidly reduced under starvation. Although both autophagic and proteasomal systems contribute to the degradation of ULK1, under prolonged nitrogen deprivation, its level was still reduced in ATG7 knockout cells, and only initially stabilized in cells treated with the lysosomal or proteasomal inhibitors. We demonstrate that under starvation, protein translation is rapidly diminished and, similar to treatments with the proteosynthesis inhibitors cycloheximide or anisomycin, is associated with a significant reduction of ULK1. Furthermore, it was found that inhibition of the mitochondrial respiratory complexes or the mitochondrial ATP synthase function that could also take place in the absence of substrates, promote upregulation of ULK1 mRNA and protein expression in an AMPK-dependent manner in U1810 lung cancer cells growing in complete culture medium. These inhibitors could also drastically increase the ULK1 protein in U1810 cells with knockout of ATG13, where the ULK1 expression is significantly diminished. However, such upregulation of ULK1 protein is negligible under starvation conditions, further signifying the contribution of translation and suggesting that transcriptional upregulation of ULK1 protein will be diminished under such conditions. Thus, we propose a model where inhibition of protein translation, together with the degradation systems, limit autophagy during starvation

Nway Mon Kyaw Soe,1 Yelena Bird,1 Michael Schwandt,2 John Moraros1 1School of Public Health, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada; 2Fraser Health Authority, Surrey, BC, Canada Background: In Canada, substance use is one of the key predisposing factors that may lead to risky sexual behaviors among post-secondary students. There is considerable economic burden and significant public health concern posed by substance use and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of substance use preferences (alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs) and its association with STIs among Canadian post-secondary students. Materials and methods: This is a cross-sectional study using data from the National College Health Assessment II, Spring 2016 survey conducted by the American College Health Association. There were 31,642 sexually active participants, representing 41 post-secondary institutions in Canada. Descriptive analysis and logistic regression were conducted to estimate the effect of substance use preferences on STIs. Results: This study found that participants reported being current users of alcohol (80%), cannabis (23%), and other drugs (8%). Additionally, 3.96% of the participants self-reported being diagnosed or treated for an STI in the last 12 months. Multivariate logistic analysis revealed current cannabis use to be significantly associated with self-reported STIs (aOR, 1.34; 95% CI, 1.12–1.6). There was a significant association between current drug use and STIs among male (aOR, 3.04; 95% CI, 2.27–4.06) and female participants (aOR, 1.87; 95% CI, 1.52–2.30). Having multiple sexual partners, a history of sexual assault, being homosexual, Black, and >21 years old were also found to have a significant association with self-reported STIs (P-value <0.001). Conclusion: In this study, significant associations were found between cannabis and other drug use and STIs among post-secondary students in Canada. The results of this study can help inform institutions of higher learning and public health professionals in the design, implementation, and evaluation of substance use and STI policies and effective school-based health programming. Keywords: substance use, alcohol use, cannabis use, drug use, sexually transmitted infections, post-secondary student

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
