    This article aims to construct an integrative counseling model "Qalbun Salīm" through a conceptual study combining the concept of soul purification (tazkiyatun nafs) in Q.S. Asy-Syams: 9-10 with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. Using an integrative-philosophical approach involving Quranic hermeneutics and conceptual synthesis, this study yields a theoretical model with four pillars: spiritual awareness (al-waʿī), tawhid-based cognitive restructuring, directed behavioral change (al-ʿamal al-ṣāliḥ), and continuous evaluation (muḥāsabah). This model offers a coherent framework for counseling practice sensitive to Islamic culture and spirituality, while contributing to the enrichment of Islamic psychology and the expansion of cross-cultural CBT perspectives.     Salah satu keistimewaan qira’at al-Qur’an adalah sebagai warisan Nabi yang eksistensinya harus terus dijaga. Namun pada kenyataannya kajian terhadap ilmu Qira’at relatif sangat minim. Di Indonesia, Faid al-Barakat merupakan kitab yang pertama kali hadir sebagai panduan praktis dalam mengkaji ilmu Qira’at Sab’ah. Penulis kitab ini, KH. Arwani Amin, menyatakan bahwa kitab ini mengacu pada kitab al-Shat ibiyyah karya Imam al-Shatibi, sebuah kitab induk tentang ilmu Qira’at. Akan tetapi, ternyata di dalamnya ditemukan beberapa kalimat yang qira’at-nya tidak mengacu pada kitab al-Shatibiyyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi qira’at al-Shat ibiyyah dalam penulisan kitab Faid al-Barakat dan nilai keabsahan qira’at yang tidak bersumber pada al-Shat ibiyyah dalam kitab tersebut. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan di atas, penulis melakukan penelitian berjenis library research dengan pendekatan analisis. Dalam penelitian tersebut, penulis menelaah, mengkaji, dan memahami secara seksama dan komprehensif kitab Faid al-Barakat serta mengkonfirmasikannya dengan kitab al-Shatibiyyah dan sharh-nya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada tujuh kalimat yang qira’at-nya tidak mengacu pada al-Shatbiyyah, yaitu نَصَارَى، أُسَارَى، يَتَامَى، كُسَالَى، سُكَارَى، مَتَى، مَالِيَهْ هَّلَكَ. Lima kalimat pertama (نَصَارَى، أُسَارَى، يَتَامَى، كُسَالَى، سُكَارَى) yang dibaca dengan al-imalah li al-imalah oleh al-Duri ‘Ali (nasere, usere, yateme, kusele, sukere) dan مَتَى yang dibaca dengan al-taqlil oleh Abu ‘Amr (mate) bersumber pada kitab Ittihaf Fudala’ al-Bashar karya al-Banna termasuk kategori Qira’at Sab’ah dan berstatus mutawatir. Sedangkan مَالِيَهْ هَّلَكَ yang dibaca dengan dua wajah ketika di-wasal-kan, yaitu al-idgham dan al-izhar/al-sakt bersumber pada kitab al-Nashr karya Ibnu al-Jazari, Ghaith al-Naf’i karya al-Safaqasi, dan al-Budur al-Zahirah karya ‘Abd al-Fattah al-Qadi termasuk kategori Qira’at ‘Asharah dan bernilai mutawatir. Sehingga, qira’at-qira’at tersebut wajib diterima (maqbulah)

    Learning is an important concern in achieving a success obtained by students from the impact of educational activities in an educational institution whose indicators can be seen from the effectiveness of learning carried out by educators and therefore proper management is needed from an educator, so that the name management mastery is needed. learning. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research by searching for literature that discusses learning management in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas, then an analysis is carried out to obtain findings and conclusions. The result of this research is that learning in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas has its own characteristics, namely the usual learning methods in Islamic boarding schools, namely wetonan, sorogan, bandongan, and memorization. And if it is associated with learning management, of course, not all of them are applied by pesantren, such as the existence of lesson plans, syllabi, and others, considering that learning in pesantren refers to the book being studied, so the target achievement is to complete the contents of the book, then if it is associated with learning evaluation it does not as in the case of madrasas applying semester exams as a condition for grade promotion, but in pesantren applying memorization of a nadhom which is a requirement for grade promotion, such as nadhom imriti, alfiyah, and othersKeywords: learning management, madrasah, pesantren

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
