The issue of political leadership in Max Weber got the paramount importance for the understanding of all the work by this author. This study aims at examining this issue from the perspective of the weberian concept of qualified political leadership. Primarily aims at comparing the quality of political leadership in social classes. Secondly ascertain the institutional qualification for political leadership. Finally, this study aims to verify the individual qualities listed by Max Weber. Having mainly in his militant’s works the concepts of ethics of conviction (Gesinnungsethik) and ethics of responsibility (Verantwortungsethik) as the main ideal types in professional ethics as the spirit of Western capitalism. Max Weber believes that is the political heritage and consequently leading education policy the frameworks for understanding the topic in question
William E. Hoy, letter to Mr. Ralph Elliot Lin Weber, July 8, 1943, with envelope and newspaper articles
This letter was sent from William E. Hoy to Mr. Ralph Elliot Lin Weber and is dated July 8, 1943. The letter recounts information about the only baseball game where Hoy, a deaf athlete, was at-bat against Taylor, also a deaf athlete. Mentioned in the letter is a typewritten play by play of the same game, copied from the Enquirer of May 17, 1902. Also included is an envelope and newspaper articles. The envelope, from International League Information, is addressed to Ralph E Lin Weber and has handwritten lists of players of N.Y. and Cincinnati. The newspaper articles are from the Dayton Daily News and the Cincinnati Enquirer and feature pictures of William E. Hoy, the author of the letter
The author is Professor Dr. phil. habil. Siegfried Weber, Prof. emeritus of the Technical University of Chemnitz, long-time head of the department of German language within the section of foreign languages, Professor of German as a foreign language at the Chemnitz University of Technology (or Karl-Marx-Stadt University of Technology until 1992).

The author passed away in Halle (Saale) on August 22, 2018, at the age of 90.
He spent the last years of his life working with great passion on this textbook. It is the essence
of decades of professional experience as a German teacher for foreign language learners.
Unfortunately, he died before finishing work on this book.

It is a great concern of his family to make this work available to the public posthumously.
Siegfried Weber left behind a 420-pages manuscript. Particularly noteworthy is the part his wife Gisela played in this work. As long as her health permitted, she laboriously edited more than half of the manuscript. She passed away about a year after her husband.

Between 2019 and 2021, the author's brother, Dr. Rudolf Weber, completed and edited the manuscript to the extent that it is now available digitally in its entirety. Inevitably, corrections and improvements could not be made, so we ask the readership to consider and excuse any errors and shortcomings.
This textbook can serve as an aid and guide to the sound and scholarly approach to teaching German in professions and various subject areas by teachers of German in the native language, as well as in German as a foreign language.

As a family, we are very confident that the work will find its readers and interested parties among germanists and linguists, thus completing the life's work of Prof. Siegfried Weber.

Tropical Fermat–Weber Points
In a metric space, the Fermat–Weber points of a sample are statistics to measure the central tendency of the sample and it is well known that the Fermat–Weber point of a sample is not necessarily unique in the metric space. We investigate the computation of Fermat–Weber points under the tropical metric on the quotient space Rn/R1 with a fixed n ∈ N, motivated by its application to the space of equidistant phylogenetic trees with N leaves (in this case n = N ) realized 2 as the tropical linear space of all ultrametrics. We show that the set of all tropical Fermat–Weber points of a finite sample is always a classical convex polytope, and we present a combinatorial formula for a key value associated with this set. We identify conditions under which this set is a singleton. We apply numerical experiments to analyze the set of the tropical Fermat–Weber points within a space of phylogenetic trees. We discuss the issues in the computation of the tropical Fermat–Weber points. The work of the first author was partly supported by the Coleman Fellowship. Replication data for learning to comprehend foreign-accented speech by means of production and listening training
The effects of production and listening training on the subsequent comprehension of foreign-accented speech were investigated in a training-test paradigm. During training, German non-native (L2) and English native (L1) participants listened to a story spoken by a German speaker who replaced all English /θ/s with /t/ (e.g., *teft for theft) or they produced the story themselves with the t-substitutes. During test, participants made auditory lexical decisions to English words with t-substitutes. L2 participants’ reaction times to words from the training were significantly faster after having produced the story than after no training; having listened to the short story also resulted in faster reaction times, but less strongly so. For L1 participants, the facilitatory effect of training did not differ significantly between production and listening training. Thus, only for L2 participants, the effect of accent production for adaptation was superior to accent listening
