    APPLICATION OF SHARIA ACCOUNTING IN MURABAHAH AND MUDHARABAH FINANCING AT BMT FAUZAN AZHIIMA PAREPARE

    Sharia accounting is an emerging area within accounting studies that is founded on truth values based on Islamic law. It is governed by PSAK, which is developed and published by the Financial Accounting Standards Council. The numerous opinions regarding sharia financial institutions not yet fully implementing sharia accounting in accordance with PSAK motivated the author to delve deeper into the application of accounting at BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare, particularly in the areas of murabahah and mudharabah financing. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing field research methods, and primary data collection through observation and interviews. The study was conducted at BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare, involving in-depth interviews with seven informants. The findings of this research indicate that (1) the implementation of sharia accounting at BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare is reflected in its financial statements and the execution of its murabahah and mudharabah programs, which are in line with the recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of transactions as prescribed by PSAK. (2) Sharia accounting appears to positively impact BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare by facilitating its ability to assess sharia financial positions regarding existing programs or transactions. Margins and profit-sharing are negotiated based on agreements between both parties, ensuring that each transaction aligns with the capabilities and needs of BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare’s customers.Akuntansi syariah adalah bidang baru dalam studi akuntansi yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai kebenaran sesuai hukum Islam. Akuntansi syariah diatur dalam PSAK, yang disusun dan diterbitkan oleh Dewan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan. Banyaknya pandangan mengenai lembaga keuangan syariah yang belum menerapkan akuntansi syariah sesuai dengan PSAK menjadi salah satu alasan bagi penulis untuk melakukan kajian lebih mendalam mengenai penerapan akuntansi di BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare, khususnya dalam pembiayaan murabahah dan mudharabah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian lapangan dan pengumpulan data primer melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan di BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap 7 informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan akuntansi syariah di BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare dijelaskan dalam laporan keuangan secara formal dan melaksanakan program murabahah serta mudharabah, yang dapat dikatakan sesuai dengan pengakuan, pengukuran, penyajian, dan pengungkapan transaksi berdasarkan PSAK. (2) Akuntansi syariah tampaknya memberikan dampak pada BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare itu sendiri, yaitu dalam memudahkan BMT untuk melihat posisi keuangan syariah terkait program atau transaksi yang ada. Margin dan bagi hasil dibahas melalui hasil kesepakatan antara kedua belah pihak, sehingga setiap transaksi diharapkan sesuai dengan kemampuan dan kebutuhan pelanggan BMT Fauzan Azhiima Parepare

    JPG, PNG And BMP Image Compression Using Discrete Cosine Transform

    This paper proposes image compression using discrete cosine transform (DCT) for the format of joint photographic expert groups (JPEG) or JPG, portable network graphic (PNG) and bitmap (BMP). These three extensions are the most popular types used in current image processing storage. The purpose of image compression is to produce lower memory usage or to reduce memory file. This process removes redundant information of each pixel. The challenge for image compression process is to maintain the quality of images after the compression process. Hence, this article utilizes the DCT technique to sustain the image quality and at the same time reduces the image storage size. The effectiveness of the DCT technique has been reasonable over some real images and the implementation of the technique has been compared with different types of image extensions. Matlab software is an important platform for this project in order to write a program and perform the progress of project phase by phase to achieve the expected results. Based on the tested images, the DCT technique in image compression is capable to reduce the image storage memory in average about 50% of each image teste

    KONTRIBUSI SHAYKH MAHFÛZ AL-TARMASÎ DALAM PERKEMBANGAN ILMU HADIS DI NUSANTARA

    This article examines the intellectual figures of the hadith in Nusantara whose works have worldwide with a background of inspiration from the phenomenon of Nusantara’s hadith figures that are spelled out so much, such as al-Raniri, Yasin al-Fadani, Hasyim Asy’ari, Maḥfûẓ al-Tarmasî, and so forth. This paper specifically examines one of the figures of the Ulamâ’ Nusantara, namely Maḥfûẓ al-Tarmasî, both in terms of biography, his contribution in the fields of hadith, qirâ’ah, and sanad. The method used in this paper is a content data analysis using literature studies (library research). The expected result of this paper is that the breadth of al-Tarmasî’s scientific knowledge is not only limited to the discipline of hadith or its knowledge, but also other disciplines such as qirâ’ah, fiqh and so forth. In this study, it was concluded that al-Tarmasî had a major contribution to the spread of qirâ’ah in Nusantara. He became the main reference in terms of qirâ’ah. Likewise, in the field of Hadith, the sanad owned by al-Tarmasî is connected in a chain to its author, and on this basis, many Indonesian take the path of teacher training to al-Tarmasî.Keyword: al-Tarmasi, Hadith, Nusantar

    Stereo matching algorithm based on deep learning: A survey

    The development of stereo matching algorithm is still one of the challenging problems, especially in ill-posed regions. Hence, this article presents a survey on the algorithm frameworks related to the stereo matching algorithm. Based on the early survey that had been conducted, two major frameworks available in current stereo matching algorithm development, they are traditional and artificial intelligence (AI) frameworks. Most of the traditional methods are very low accuracy compared to the AI-based approach. This can be observed in the standard benchmarking dataset, such as from the KITTI and the Middlebury, where AI methods rank at the top of the accuracy list. Additionally, the trend for solving computer vision problems uses AI or machine learning tools that become more apparent in recent years. Thus, this paper is focusing on the survey between the deep learning frameworks, which is one of the machine learning tools related to the convolutional neural network (CNN). Several mixed approaches between CNN based method and traditional handcraft method, as well as the end to end CNN method also discussed in this paper

    Implementation of Algorithm for Vehicle Anti-Collision Alert System in FPGA

    Vehicle safety has becoming one of the important issues nowadays, due to the fact the number of road accidents, which cause injuries, deaths and also damages, keeps on increasing. One of the main factors which contribute to these accidents are human's lack of awareness and also carelessness. This paper presents the development and implementation of an algorithm to be utilized for vehicle anti-collision alert system, which may be useful to reduce the occurrence of accidents. This algorithm, which is to be deployed with the front sensors of the vehicle, is capable of alerting any occurrence of sudden slowing or static vehicles ahead, by sensing the rate of distance change. Furthermore, it also triggers an alert if the driver is breaching the safe distance from the vehicle ahead. This algorithm has been successfully implemented in Altera DE0 FPGA and its functionality was validated via hardware experimental tests

    Automatic Traffic Light Controller For Emergency Vehicle Using Peripheral Interface Controller

    Traffic lights play such important role in traffic management to control the traffic on the road. Situation at traffic light area is getting worse especially in the event of emergency cases. During traffic congestion, it is difficult for emergency vehicle to cross the road which involves many junctions. This situation leads to unsafe conditions which may cause accident. An Automatic Traffic Light Controller for Emergency Vehicle is designed and developed to help emergency vehicle crossing the road at traffic light junction during emergency situation. This project used Peripheral Interface Controller (PIC) to program a priority-based traffic light controller for emergency vehicle. During emergency cases, emergency vehicle like ambulance can trigger the traffic light signal to change from red to green in order to make clearance for its path automatically. Using Radio Frequency (RF) the traffic light operation will turn back to normal when the ambulance finishes crossing the road.
