    PELATIHAN PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK BERBASIS STRATEGI METAKOGNISI PADA GURU KELAS SD

    Abstrak: Kurikulum yang berlaku saat ini adalah kurikulum 2013 yang mengusung penguatan pendidikan karakter disetiap jenjang pendidikan, khususnya Sekolah Dasar. Melalui kurikulum 2013 ini, pemerintah berharap pendidikan dapat menyeimbangkan antara kemampuan intelektualitas dan penguatan karakter peserta didik. Gugus Sekolah Dasar. Di gugus Wahidin Sudirohusodo kecamatan Jumapolo, Kabupaten Karanganyar, yang terdiri dari 7 SD sudah melaksanakan penguatan pendidikan karakter tetapi masih terkendala. Banyak guru yang kurang memahami konsep  pendidikan karakter sehingga implementasi pendidikan karakter  masih  lemah.  Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam melakukan penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis strategi metakognisi sehingga menjadi salah satu solusi dari permasalahan yang ada. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi: (1) persiapan yang terdiri dari survei, perijinan, dan pemberian motivasi bagi guru yang mengikuti pelatihan (2) pelaksanaan program, meliputi tahap pendahuluan, tahap sosialisasi dan audiensi, tahap pelatihan, serta tahap evaluasi akhir. Dari 7 SD yang mengikuti pelatihan, semuanya mampu membuat draft kebijakan pembiasaan penguatan karakter sesuai strategi metakognisi.Abstract: The current curriculum is the 2013 curriculum which carries out strengthening character education at every level of education, especially elementary schools. Through the 2013 curriculum, the government hopes that education can balance intellectual abilities and strengthen the character of students. Elementary School Cluster. In the Wahidin Sudirohusodo cluster, Jumapolo sub-district, Karanganyar Regency, which consists of 7 elementary schools, they have implemented character education strengthening but are still having problems. Many teachers do not understand the concept of character education so that the implementation of character education is still weak. This service program aims to improve teacher understanding in strengthening character education based on metacognition strategies so that it becomes one of the solutions to existing problems. Methods of implementation include: (1) preparation consisting of surveys, licensing, and providing motivation for teachers participating in training (2) program implementation, including the preliminary stage, socialization and hearing stages, training stage, and final evaluation stage. Of the 7 elementary schools that participated in the training, all of them were able to draft a policy of character strengthening habituation according to the metacognition strategy

    Towards a Character Language : Rethinking the Nature of Human Language in Indonesian Context

    This paper is about a character language, i.e. a language with character through pragmatic viewpoints. A character  language should be directed, the writer argues, to politeness (distant language) and camaraderie (close language), the two varieties of language use in every diglossic speech situation. The writer’s arguments are, among others, that distant language is formal, indirect, and non-literal, and that close language is informal, direct, and literal. Distant language is spoken to hearers with power factor, while close language is spoken to hearers with solidarity factor. Ignorance or incompetence of this may cause impoliteness, i.e. rude situations or awkward situations in interpersonal interactions. This tendency elaborates pragmatic viewpoints (Goffman’s  positive and negative face, 1959; Brown and Levinson’s positive and negative politeness strategies, 1987; Renkema’s solidarity and respect politeness, 1993; and Jumanto’s politeness and friendship, 2008; 2011) and types of hearer elaborated by Brown and Gilman (1968) and advocated by Jumanto (2011). Skripsi, Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. 2010. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita melalui metode mind mapping pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sondakan No.11 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010. Variabel yang menjadi sasaran perubahan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah kemampuan menulis cerita, sedangkan variabel tindakan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode mind mapping. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model siklus yang berlangsung sebanyak 2 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebagai subjek adalah siswa dan guru kelas IV SD Negeri Sondakan No.11 yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data dengan menggunakan trianggulasi data dan metode. Teknik analysis data menggunakan model analysis interaktif dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif, yang meliputi 3 komponen yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan menulis cerita setelah diadakan tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan metode Mind Mapping. Hal itu dapat ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya kemampuan siswa dari sebelum dan sesudah tindakan. Pada siklus I menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis cerita dengan nilai rata-rata 68,84 dan persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 63,16% (24 siswa). Pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan menulis cerita dengan nilai rata-rata 76,61 dan persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 89,47% (34 siswa). Dengan demikian diajukan suatu rekomendasi bahwa melalui metode mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sondakan No.11 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010

    Language of the Sea: Ideologies within Kabar Dari Laut by Chairil Anwar

    This research paper explores ideologies contained in the 1946 poem Kabar Dari Laut by Chairil Anwar. The main words Kabarand Lautare central in this poem. This interpretive exploration tries to find out the ideologies contained in the phrase Kabar(literally means news, however,italso rather to say story) and the ideology in the scripture of laut[the sea] and how the two sets of expressions speak out the restlessness of the noted poet Chairil Anwar. The research findings have shown that the news and the sea have been used by the frustrated author to speak out his regret, awareness, and hatred due to his broken-hearted soul upon his ex-lover in the past. The findings also show that the sea signifies the author’s small self to face and live in this abundant life (the sea). His hatred towards his ex-lover has remained sad memories and bad realities which the author bears in his time while he is writing the poem

    Employee Performance Model: Analysis Of Information Technology Utilization, Knowledge Transfer And Knowledge Management

    The Promotion and Information Sub-Division has the task of carrying out part of the duties of the Lampung Provincial Liaison Agency in Jakarta related to the promotion and information and services of Anjungan Lampung Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). Some factors cause a lack of improvement in performance due to ineffective use of technological facilities. This is indicated by the results of the 2020 performance report during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the government issued a work-from-home (WFH) policy. The performance report data for the Lampung Province Liaison Agency in 2020 did not meet the target. This is caused by several factors, one of which is the use of information technology. Performance report data for 2020 - 2021 shows the results of employee performance reports, where the performance indicators in the Promotion and Information Sub-Sector have decreased. To solve the problem of improving performance caused by several factors, it is of particular concern to conduct research. All 50 employees of the Promotion and Information Subdivision are the population in this study. The sampling method used was a saturated sample approach. The data in this study were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, and quantitative analysis was carried out using the SPSS analysis tool. The results showed a significant and positive correlation between Information Technology Utilization and Knowledge Transfer with employee performance.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
