Till September 2019, research carried out on Indian Reference Materials/ Bharitya Nirdeshak Dravyas (BND®) at CSIR-NPL. In 11th FYP of CSIR-NPL network project (NWP-25) “Fabrication of LED Devices and systems for solid state lighting application”. Under this project I have established major state-of-the-art facilities at CSIR-NPL: (i) Molecular Beam Epitaxy from RIBER, France to grow GaN based multi quantum well LED structure (ii) Multi-technique surface analysis custom made system from Omicron Nanotechnology, GmBH. This system is cluster of surface sensitive techniques such as XPS, UPS, STM, AFM, LEED, AES, AEM etc., which may useful to analyze the MBE grown LED structures. As part of Surface Physics & Nanostructure activity Nanostructures of Graphene, CNT, ZnO, WO3, as well as bulk materials and Thin films of CMR, HTSC and Heusler Alloy etc… were probed using X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy (XPS) and Ultraviolet Photoemission Spectroscopy (UPS).THIS DATASET IS ARCHIVED AT DANS/EASY, BUT NOT ACCESSIBLE HERE. Geobacter sulfurreducens inner membrane cytochrome transcriptional and phenotypic data
The data files include raw data as well as analyzed results for transcriptional analysis of WT G. sulfurreducens and mutant lacking BccR (GSU0598) under fumarate vs iron citrate growth conditions. This dataset also includes the phenotypic data files for experiments associated with this project.Geobacter sulfurreducens utilizes extracellular electron acceptors such as Mn(IV), Fe(III), syntrophic partners, and electrodes that vary from +0.4 to −0.3 V vs. Standard Hydrogen Electrode (SHE), representing a potential energy span that should require a highly branched electron transfer chain. Here we describe CbcBA, a bc-type cytochrome essential near the thermodynamic limit of respiration when acetate is the electron donor. Mutants lacking cbcBA ceased Fe(III) reduction at −0.21 V vs. SHE, could not transfer electrons to electrodes between −0.21 and −0.28 V, and could not reduce the final 10% – 35% of Fe(III) minerals. As redox potential decreased during Fe(III) reduction, cbcBA was induced with the aid of the regulator BccR to become one of the most highly expressed genes in G. sulfurreducens. Growth yield (CFU/mM Fe(II)) was 112% of WT in ∆cbcBA, and deletion of cbcL (an unrelated bc-cytochrome essential near −0.15 V) in ΔcbcBA increased yield to 220%. Together with ImcH, which is required at high redox potentials, CbcBA represents a third cytoplasmic membrane oxidoreductase in G. sulfurreducens. This expanding list shows how metal-reducing bacteria may constantly sense redox potential to adjust growth efficiency in changing environments.Office of Naval Research: N00014-16-1-2194, and N00014-18-1-2632.Joshi, Komal; Chan, Chi Ho; Bond, Daniel R. Production of the Joshi effect under β- and γ-rays
Examination of the literature having shown absence of information on the Joshi effect under radioactive emanations, a detailed investigation was made employing, in the first instance, a β-ray capsule with negligible γ -ray activity. Siemens ozonizer type tubes charged with various vapours and gases and excited by commercial-frequency potentials of kilovolts were used. In agreement with results obtained with visible and ultra-violet radiation and with x-rays, and employing especially organic vapours, an exposure to β-rays caused an instantaneous and reversible positive effect + Δi at relatively low voltage; with slight increase of voltage, + Δi diminished sharply; and finally changed over to - Δi above Vm, the threshold for a 'self-maintained' discharge. Thus, for example, cyclohexane vapour showed under β-rays about 150 per cent positive Joshi effect at 4 kV.; + 9.5 per cent and - 5.8 per cent at 6 and 8 kV respectively

Patologi Amae Pada Tujuh Tokoh Novel 暗黒女子 (Ankoku Joshi) Karya Akiyoshi Rikako

Generalized Laplace transform with matrix variables
In the present paper we have extended generalized Laplace transforms of Joshi to the space of m×m symmetric matrices using the confluent hypergeometric function of matrix argument defined by Herz as kernel. Our extension is given by

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
