Introduction : Anxiety and stress are common among chronic disease patients, especially those who are in the Chronic Disease Care Program / Prolanis, namely, type-2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Psychoeducational therapy can reduce the level of anxiety and stress in Prolanis patients. This research aims to identify the influence of psychoeducation therapy to the anxiety and stress level in Prolanis patients at Manisrenggo I Health Center.Method : This research used a pre-experiment method with one group pre-test post-test design approach. The respondents of this research were 30 Prolanis patients taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by means of ‘depression anxiety and stress scale’ (DASS) instruments which consists of 42 items. The data collected were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test.Result : The research results showed that there was an influence from psychoeducation to the reduction of anxiety and stress in Prolanis patients at Manisrenggo I Health Center. Wilcoxon signed-rank analysis showed a significant level p = 0.05, where p-value = 0.000, therefore p < 0.05. Conclution : (1) Most of the respondents experienced anxiety and stress at a medium level during pre-test; (2) Most of the respondents experienced anxiety and stress at a low level during post-test; (3) There was an influence of psychoeducation therapy to the anxiety and stress level in Prolanis patients at Manisrenggo I Health Center.

Congestive heart failure is one of cardiovascular diagnoses that increase rapidly and often requires re-treatment in hospital despite outpatient treatment has been given optimally. The average total of rehospitalization of patients with congestive heart failure reached 64%. One of factors that leads to the occurrence of rehospitalization is a lack of health education about the disease and how to conduct self-care at home given the nurse in the form of discharge planning activities. Training of discharge planning facilitates nurses to improve their capabilities in the implementation of discharge planning in patients with congestive heart failure. The purpose of this research was to prove that discharge planning training could prevent rehospitalization for patients with congestive heart failure. This research used quasi-experimental research design with posttest only design. This study was conducted in 46 respondents taken using consecutive sampling technique divided into the intervention group (n=23) and the control group (n=23). During the treatment, the respondents got discharge planning training and the occurrence of rehospitalization was assessed 30 days after discharge from the hospital. Data were obtained by observation and analyzed using the independent sample t-test. The results showed that discharge planning training was effective in reducing the occurrence of rehospitalization in congestive heart failure patients with p-value of 0.000. This study recommends the development of coaching to improve the implementation of discharge planning. Keywords : Discharge Planning, Congestive Heart Failure, Rehospitalization

Fluid management adherence is a majority problem for hemodialysis patients. Nurse discharge planning is expected to solve this problem. This study aims to describe the evaluation of discharge planning in hemodialysis patients at Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study was 261 people. The purposive sampling was used in the 38 chronic renal failure patients who underwent hemodialysis at Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul. The univariate analysis was performed to obtain the frequency distribution on gender, age, marital status, education, employment status, and length of time undergoing hemodialysis. Participants were completed with evaluation sheets and structured interviews. The characteristics of the respondents were male and female (50% each), aged 26-35 years old (36.8%), (79%) did not work, underwent hemodialysis 1-3 years (57.8 %), and half of the respondents (47.1%) had senior high school education. The implementation of nurse discharge planning included the good category of medication (10.5%), treatment (39.5%), health promotion (26.3%), and diet (47.4%). But the finding that discharge education was performed either the patient asks or if there are abnormal clinical/laboratory results only. It concluded that the implementation of discharge planning is deficient. Additional participation and performing further research related to hemodialysis patients confidence and adherence in supporting discharge planning was strongly recommended. Â

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
