Mock up - Ensaio Restaurador
TCC (graduação) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Centro de Ciências da Saúde. Odontologia. Making an esthetic treatment, two steps are essential to achieve success: correct diagnosis and excellent planning. One way of carrying out the planning result is predictability with the use of a restorer assay (mock-up). The aim of this study was to carry out a literature review on the use of restorative essay esthetic restorations in planning, identifying the indications, contraindications, advantages, disadvantages, and techniques

Evaluating Restricted First-Order Counting Properties on Nowhere Dense Classes and Beyond
It is known that first-order logic with some counting extensions can be efficiently evaluated on graph classes with bounded expansion, where depth-r minors have constant density. More precisely, the formulas are ∃ x₁… x_k#y φ(x_1,…,x_k, y) > N, where φ is an FO-formula. If φ is quantifier-free, we can extend this result to nowhere dense graph classes with an almost linear FPT run time. Lifting this result further to slightly more general graph classes, namely almost nowhere dense classes, where the size of depth-r clique minors is subpolynomial, is impossible unless FPT = W[1]. On the other hand, in almost nowhere dense classes we can approximate such counting formulas with a small additive error. Note those counting formulas are contained in FOC({>}) but not FOC₁().
In particular, it follows that partial covering problems, such as partial dominating set, have fixed parameter algorithms on nowhere dense graph classes with almost linear running time

Multi-Format Mock Server Implementation in Kotlin
As modern software development relies on APIs to build applications more efficiently, mock servers play an important role in simulating the API responses and behaviour during development and testing. The goal of this thesis is to create a multi-format mock server capable of handling JSON, XML, and CSV data formats. The thesis explores existing mock server implementations with focus on their adaptability to the mentioned data formats. Using this analysis, requirements and design for a mock server capable of handling the mentioned data formats were defined. Based on this design, a multi-format mock server prototype was implemented in Kotlin. Using unit and API testing, which included diverse data types, string formats and JSON structures, the prototype was evaluated in terms of code coverage and overall code quality. In addition, a frontend application was developed to demonstrate the prototype features
To Mock or Not To Mock?: An Empirical Study on Mocking Practices
When writing automated unit tests, developers often deal with software artifacts that have several dependencies. In these cases, one has the possibility of either instantiating the dependencies or using mock objects to simulate the dependencies' expected behavior. Even though recent quantitative studies showed that mock objects are widely used in OSS projects, scientific knowledge is still lacking on how and why practitioners use mocks. Such a knowledge is fundamental to guide further research on this widespread practice and inform the design of tools and processes to improve it. The objective of this paper is to increase our understanding of which test dependencies developers (do not) mock and why, as well as what challenges developers face with this practice. To this aim, we create MOCKEXTRACTOR, a tool to mine the usage of mock objects in testing code and employ it to collect data from three OSS projects and one industrial system. Sampling from this data, we manually analyze how more than 2,000 test dependencies are treated. Subsequently, we discuss our findings with developers from these systems, identifying practices, rationales, and challenges. These results are supported by a structured survey with more than 100 professionals. The study reveals that the usage of mocks is highly dependent on the responsibility and the architectural concern of the class. Developers report to frequently mock dependencies that make testing difficult and prefer to not mock classes that encapsulate domain concepts/rules of the system. Among the key challenges, developers report that maintaining the behavior of the mock compatible with the behavior of original class is hard and that mocking increases the coupling between the test and the production code.Software Engineerin
Explicit congruences for mock modular forms
In recent work of Bringmann, Guerzhoy, and the first author, -adic modular forms were constructed from mock modular forms. We look at a specific case, starting with a weight -10 mock modular form, and prove explicit congruences.postprin

The Ukrainian folk ballads: mock phenomenon
The article is about specific features of functioning of the Ukrainian national mock ballads, which originate from epic and mock traditions. New double-sum expansions for certain Mock theta functions
The study of expansions of certain mock theta functions in special functions theory has a long and quite significant history. Motivated by recent correlations between q-series and mock theta functions, we establish a new q-series transformation formula and derive the double-sum expansions for mock theta functions. As an application, we state new double-sum representations for certain mock theta functions. © 2020 the Author(s), licensee AIMS Press
