An oriented-design simplified model for the efficiency of a flat plate solar air collector
No full textIn systems design, suitably adapted physical models are required. Different modelling approaches for a solar air collector were studied in this paper. First, a classical model was produced, based on a linearization of the conservation of energy equations. Its resolution used traditional matrix methods. In order to improve the possibilities for use in design, the behaviour of the collector was next expressed in terms of efficiency. Lastly, simplified models constructed from the results obtained with the classical linearized model, and explicitly including the design variables of the collector, were proposed. These reduced models were then evaluated in terms of Parsimony, Exactness, Precision and Specialisation (PEPS). It was concluded that one of them (D2), using a low number of variables and of equations, is well suited for the design of solar air collector coupled with other sub-systems in more complex devices such as solar kiln with energy storag
Model and simulation of a solar kiln with energy storage
No full textA solar kiln with energy storage can be used for continuous drying. This kiln consisted of several units which were modeled to simulate it in operation. A model was proposed for each unit, and another based on laboratory tests for drying a wooden board by passing air across. These models were combined to produce a global model. Simulation results were then analyzed and showed that the use of storage was justified to reduce drying time. Moreover, with the judicious use of storage and air renewal, drying schedules could be produced for a better quality of dried wood

Los modelos del imperio romano y del imperio colonial han sido abandonados. El imperialismo contemporáneo impone su hegemonía por las vías económica y cultural. Partiendo de la dialéctica imperio-imperialismo, desde los conceptos de soberanía y democracia, el autor muestra las contradicciones internas y externas de lo que denomina repúblicas imperiales. Desde la primera perspectiva, la hegemonía imperial puede ser interpretada al mismo tiempo como la expresión y la crisis de la soberanía. W części teoretycznej artykułu przedstawiono formy i rodzaje internacjonalizacji przedsiębiorstw oraz scharakteryzowano podstawowe założenia systemu franczyzowego. Główną formą wypowiedzi zastosowaną w tej części artykułu jest streszczenie. Jest to forma wypowiedzi zapewniająca literalny przekaz podstawowych treści zawartych w tekstach źródłowych. W części empirycznej pracy dokonana została syntetyczna analiza koncernu Yves Rocher, wynikająca z toku prowadzonych rozważań teoretycznych dotyczących systemu franczyzowego.The article discusses franchising as a method of internationalization. Based on the theory, the author shows a practical approach to franchising through a real case study. The theoretical part touches on different forms of internationalization and also on basic foundation of franchise system. No full textL’article présente une rétrospective de la carrière de Yves Bergeron en faisant le lien avec l’évolution des concepts en écologie forestière et le développement des nouvelles approches en aménagement forestier. Il est construit autour de plusieurs encarts présentant les contributions les plus importantes. Celles-ci sont le développement du cadre écologique comme base de décision pour l’aménagement forestier; la reconstitution historique des feux dans les milieux boréaux; la dynamique forestière après les perturbations naturelles; le développement de l’aménagement écosystémique des milieux forestiers; les enjeux liés à la productivité et aux forêts anciennes et finalement l’impact des changements climatiques. No full textIn response to the challenge of the sceptics and the fideists, Yves de Paris, a seventeenth-century Capuchin theologian, argues that all humans possess an innate consciousness of the divine (un sentiment naturel de Dieu). The author of this thesis attempts to situate Yves\u27 theology within the intellectual climate of his day as well as within the broader currents of the history of Christian thought. Yves emerges as an eclectic thinker who combines elements of humanism, Neo-Platonism, natural philosophy and scholasticism. The author then proceeds to present the basic thrust of Yves\u27 arguments for the natural awareness of God as contained in Yves\u27 Discours apologetique and in his La theologie naturelle. Original translations of certain key passages are made and the main arguments of the text are followed so that the reader can appreciate the various modes of persuasion and reasoning employed by Yves. The author next provides a detailed examination of the substantive issues raised by Yves\u27 notion of the natural awareness of God. Among these issues are Yves\u27 methodology, his arguments for the innate consciousness of God, the quality of the natural awareness of God, the relation of the natural and the supernatural, the rapport between faith and reason and the importance of Yves\u27 ideas for contemporary theology. In the conclusion, the author suggests that Yves\u27 contribution lies in his ability to combine a cosmic unity with an awareness of God within the depths of human consciousness. Yves\u27 system also provides an interesting model for a synthesis of faith and reason, nature and grace and the natural and the supernatural. Yves\u27 catholicity is manifested in his ability to incorporate Augustinian, Franciscan and Thomist elements in a natural theology that not only provides a foundation for Christian spirituality but also a basis for the appreciation of the spiritual insights of other religions

Presenting this context allows us to capture the circumstances of the creation of the work that is a milestone in Catholic reflection on this matter: Chrétiens désunis. Principes d'un «œcuménisme» catholique (1937) and an outline of the later evolution of its author's views.Autor artykułu ukazuje wątki inspirujące ekumeniczne powołanie jednego z głównych autorów teologii katolickiej zajmujących się problematyką ekumenizmu, Yves Marie Congara (1905-1984). Przedstawienie tego kontekstu pozwala uchwycić okoliczności powstania dzieła pozostającego kamieniem milowym katolickiej refleksji w tejże materii: Chrétiens désunis. Principes d’un «œcuménisme» catholique, (1937) oraz zarys późniejszej ewolucji poglądów jego autora.
