It has been conducted a geo-electrical resistivity survey at geothermal area of Ie Jue, Aceh Besar. The survey aims to measure resistivity value in the area. It is expected that the values of resistivity will image the subsurface structure in the area. In addition geological features in the area are shown after we process it. The data acquisition in this study was acquired using a SuperSting R8/IP resistivitymeter and its data processing using EarthImager 2D software to get the image of resistivity pseudosection. The two lines of measurement crossed the surface geothermal manifestation. Each line has 330 m in length, and 56 electrodes with electrode space of 6 m. The result of resistivity pseudosection model interpreted based on geological condition and observation in the area. Resistivity pseudosection model shows the study is water-saturated (<64.0 Ωm) to a depth of ±65 m and a highly conductive zone (0.6-3.5 Ωm) with a thickness of 30-50 m. This conductive layers below the embodied surface at a distance of 158-160 m on the IJ-Y1 line and at a range of 130-185 m on the IJ-Y2 line. This conductive zone is indicated as a weak zone where geothermal fluids are transported to the surface. There is a lot of debate in the midst of Muslims, regarding whether da\u27wah is wājib kifāyah or wājib \u27ain. As a result of the debate, many Muslims left da\u27wah and there was a lot of decline (weak faith, weak deeds, corrupted morals, conflicts and being oppressed). Therefore, researchers are motivated to study the law of da\u27wah in the interpretation of the Qur\u27an. The research method uses a qualitative approach, and data analysis uses the tafsīr maudhū\u27i method, and the data sources are books of interpretation. As a result of his research, there are two da\u27wah laws: wājib kifāyah, and wājib \u27ain. Scholars who say the law of obligatory da\u27wah kifāyah are Al-Suyuti, Al-Qurtubi, and Al-Andalusi. Fardhu kifāyah is an obligation that is obligatory on some Muslims, if there is already a group that preaches, then the others fall. They postulate the sentence min functions lit tab\u27īd, meaning in part; Muslims do not have to preach all, but there must be jihād, war, scientific councils, pesantren; and not all Muslims are able to preach, because there are stupid people, and the laity. The scholars who say the law of da\u27wah is wājib \u27ain (obligation for every Muslim), are Ibn Kathir, Al-Razi, Al-Sya\u27rawi, Al-Maraghi, Al-Baghaw,i and Ibn Al-‘Arabi, with the reason: the sentence min functions li At -tabyīn (explanatory for all); supported by the verse "you are the best people, who invite to good and forbid to evil"; confirmed the hadith "Whoever sees an evil, let him change it with his hand"; every Muslim is obliged to try to be safe from loss (khusrin) and gain profit (muflihun); Every Muslim (ulama, ustadz, rich, poor, old, young, official, people) is obliged to preach according to their respective abilities and conditions.

ABSTRACT The veil is a Muslim woman's face covering, only her eyes are visible. Wearing the veil requires faith, mental and strong motivation. This study aims to examine the motivations of IAI student Yasni Bungo to wear the veil. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling technique, by interviewing female students who only wear the veil. The data analysis technique was carried out by listening to the interviews of female students wearing veils, recording their interviews, grouping the results of the interviews, analyzing the results of the interviews and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the motivation for using the veil by IAI student Yasni Bungo is motivated by three factors, first, theological factors (students wear the veil because of religious orders, worship, sunnah of the prophet); second is psychological factors (students wear the veil because they are driven by a soul that feels comfortable when wearing the veil), and third, the intrinsic factor (students wear the veil to protect themselves, keep morals, to be better, more obedient). And there are no external factors (veiled because parents, teachers, ustadz ordered them, the rules of the Islamic Boarding Schools, or were motivated by the doctrine of forbidden sects). The more dominant factor is the theological factor.

Philosophical Study of Universal Rights (HAAS) and Human Rights (HAM): Exegesis of Al-'Ālamīn's Concept in the Al-Qur'ān

Get PDF
This paper is intended to explore the holistic philosophy of al-ʿālamīn in al-Qur’an as the basis for Universal Rights, Hak Asasi Alam Semesta (HAAS), for the lack of comprehensiveness of Human Rights, Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM), which tends to be anthropocentric-materialistic-secularistic. This research is qualitative research relying on the literature review method. The analytical tool used in this research is the Hermeneutical-philosophical paradigm of human rights and international law contained in the al-ʿālamīn concept. Al-ʿālamīn, God Sustainer of Humans, has been, is, will always be translated and interpreted with the embodiment in the form of Human Rights. Not only human rights, it also needs to be conceptualized and implemented in the discourse of Universal Rights where God is the Custodian of the Universe. HAM does not necessitate human religiosity. It is just the fulfillment of human rights to one creature, named human. HAAS, in addition to fulfilling human rights religiously and spiritually, is also primarily a blessing for the universe, including the fulfillment of human rights for all forms of natural resources, such as plants, animals, jinn, earth, planets, galaxies and so on. Therefore, the five main things that make up maqashid al-shari'ah, namely protecting religion, soul, lineage, property and mind, which have an anthropocentric tendency, become more holistic when fulfilled by protecting the universe, hifz al-ʿālamīn.

Curriculum Development Integrating Qur'anic Values and Character Education: A Study of Dialogic Communication in Q.S. Ash-Shaffat (37):102

Get PDF
This study explores the integration of Qur'anic values, particularly those found in Q.S. Ash-Shaffat (37):102, into curriculum development and educational practices. The primary aim is to investigate how values such as patience (ṣabr), consultation (shūrā), conscious obedience (ṭāʿah), trust in God (tawakkul), and sincerity (ikhlāṣ) can be incorporated into educational frameworks to promote both academic and moral development. The research adopts a qualitative approach, focusing on document analysis and curriculum review as the primary data collection methods. Relevant educational documents, including curriculum frameworks, syllabi, textbooks, and policy guidelines, are analyzed to identify how these Qur'anic values are integrated across various subjects. The data is analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and themes related to the presence and application of Qur'anic values in the curriculum. The results show that while some curricula explicitly include character education, others may implicitly reflect these values, emphasizing the importance of ethical conduct, reflection, and consultation in learning environments. The study concludes that the integration of Qur'anic values can significantly enhance the development of students' intellectual, emotional, and moral faculties. These values can transform the learning environment into one that nurtures holistic development, fostering ethical decision-making and resilience among students. The study recommends that educational institutions consider embedding Qur'anic values more systematically into curricula, not only within Islamic studies but across all subjects, to foster a comprehensive, character-driven education. Further research is suggested to explore the practical challenges and opportunities of implementing such a curriculum model in diverse educational contexts

Foam Generation by Snap-off in Flow Across a Sharp Permeability Transition

No full text
Foam reduces gas mobility and can help improve sweep efficiency in an enhanced oil recovery process. For the latter, long-distance foam propagation is crucial. In steady gas-liquid flow, foam is generated in homogeneous porous media by exceeding a critical pressure gradient, which normally only happens near the wellbore. Away from wells, these requirements may not be met, and foam propagation is uncertain. It has been shown theoretically that foam can be generated, independent of pressure gradient, during flow across an abrupt increase in permeability. This could dominate foam generation away from wells in layered or laminated geological formations and can improve the chances of success of a foam application. The objective of this study is to validate theoretical explanations through experimental evidence and to quantify the effect of permeability contrast, velocity and fractional flow on this process. In this study, we validate theoretical predictions through a variety of experimental evidence. Coreflood experiments involving co-injection of gas and surfactant solution at field-like velocities were performed. Layered, consolidated and well-characterized sintered glass cores were used as the porous media. The permeability change in each core was analogous to sharp, small-scale heterogeneities such as laminations and cross-laminations. The experiments were carefully designed not to allow foam generation by mechanisms other than snap-off at the permeability boundary in the core. Local pressure gradient was measured at various locations and was used to identify foam generation and subsequent propagation through the porous medium. Additionally, X-ray computed tomography (CT) was employed to detect changes in phase saturation that accompany foam generation and subsequent propagation downstream. CT-based saturations measurements were also used to qualitatively chart the reduction in capillary pressure across the sharp permeability jump, supporting theoretical explanations behind this process. The effect of permeability contrast, superficial velocity and flowing gas fraction on this process was also investigated. For a given permeability contrast, foam generation was observed at higher gas fractions than predicted by previous theory (Rossen, 1999). Conditions for propagation of foam were explored by successively performing experiments at lower velocities and higher gas fractional flows. Significant fluctuations in pressure gradient accompanied the process of foam generation, indicating a degree of intermittency in the generation rate - probably reflecting cycles of foam generation, dryout, imbibition, and then generation. The intermittency of foam generation was found to increase with decreasing injection velocities and greater permeability contrasts.Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository ‘You share, we take care!’ – Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.Reservoir EngineeringApplied Geophysics and Petrophysic
