Durante todo o romance, nos defrontamos com esse discurso ambivalente e dialogal no qual ouvimos o ressoar de duas vozes - a de Fabiano e a do narrador que tecem relações dialógicas entre si ora por consonância, ora por dissonância, fazendo de Vidas Secas um verdadeiro espetáculo plurilíngüeThis dissertation interprets the novel Vidas secas according to the perspective of the dialogism, derived from the consciousness sketched by rudimentary characters and the Graciliano Ramos interest of revealing the perception of these characters not only by themselves, but also by the surrounding reality. For this reason, the studies of Mikhail Bakhtin constitute the theoretical basis of this research because Vidas secas presents the principles of the polyphonic novel: reality s information, lack of conclusion, dialogism, and polyphony. Our object of study Fabiano character has an interior conflict, asking himself about his identities and his action in the world. It is an aspect of the dialogic character because, to Bakhtin, the consciousness begins where the dialogue begins. Moreover, Fabiano is not the interpreter of the author, he has independence and freedom to expose the opinions and to take decisions. Vidas secas is constituted basically by interior monologue and the dialogic character is formed by a process of interactive communication. How is going to happen the Fabiano s consciousness of himself? We understand that the narrator uses the free indirect discourse to stage the thoughts of the character in an authentic way because by this double-voiced word it was possible to offer the voice to the one without it but indicating the tonal a difference between the point of view of the narrator, owner of the word, and the character, that has not that word. In the novel, we face this ambivalent and dialogical discourse in which we listen to two voices the Fabiano s one and narrator s one that build dialogic relations, sometimes in consonance, sometimes in dissonance, and it turns Vidas secas a plurilingual spectacl
The aim of this paper is to verify how the problem of knowledge is developed in Foucault’s readings of the tragedy, Oedipus the King. Between the discovery of himself and the revelation of truth that liberates Thebes, it happens in Oedipus the passage from ignorance to knowledge, which delimits, throughout the entire play, a complex game of knowledge: listening and vision knowledge; distance and presence knowledge; kings knowledge and the slave hut background knowledge; prediction and testimony knowledge; knowledge that voluntarily withdraws from the enigma and knowledge that lurks beneath the fear and only the threat can extract it. For Foucault, Oedipus holds an excess knowledge which determines his character, his mode of action and destiny.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar de que forma a problemática do saber se desenvolve nas leituras foucaultianas da tragédia Édipo-Rei.

La questione centrale per una nuova scuola democratica / Digital school and life project. The central question for a new democratic school.
The society in which we live is pervaded by digital innovations that have profoundly changed styles of living, communicating, socializing, working and above all learning. The vision of education in the digital age represents a shared path of cultural, organizational, social and institutional innovation that wants to give new energy democratic processes, new connections, new capacities for the democratic school. In this essay, the author, starting from the deep link between technology, education and teaching, seeks to define a vision of “digital” as an enabling tool and theory to change the school and society, focusing on the role that can have the new digital technologies in the school environment for the creation of a new democratic project. A school 3.0 can play a fundamental role as a laboratory for a new democracy in which more and more the skills of “digital citizenship” are essential to face an increasingly smart society.
Dalla competenza digitale alla cittadinanza digitale/ For a new life project. From digital competence to digital citizenship
How can school change with the digital education? From the school we must start again to define and hope in a possible relaunch of democracy through the construction of a “well-made head” that can promote a civic education to discriminate information, facts, situations. The school must be enhanced, starting from digital, as a training center for the “citizens of tomorrow”, a tool for human and social progress.
The school must also foster digital relationships to overcome the global citizen’s loneliness syndrome in our “liquid” society. But what does it mean to educate to the digital citizenship? In this short paper the author will try to explain the role of the school in the construction of the students’ new life project that promotes the concept of the digital citizenship.
Through a new reading of a passage from Euripides’ Electra (v. 774‐858), this article discusses the definition of Nymphs as “nature deities”, often used by modern scholarship. In the Electra Aegisthus offers a sacrifice to the Nymphs in the countryside of Argos. The analysis of the rite shows that, contrary to what is usually stated, the Nymphs not only preside over the natural world, but also have precise “territorial” competences that concern the political space. The author suggests that, far from being opposed to the city, the Nymphs, from the margins, play the role of guardians who grant access to the political space.À travers l’analyse d’un passage de l’Électre d’Euripide (v. 774‐858), l’article se propose de revenir sur l’étiquette de « divinités de la nature » qui est souvent attribuée aux Nymphes par les savants modernes.
This article examines the conception of underworld waters in Greekculture, in order to find out which emic categories are used by the Ancients, inparticular in the archaic and classical period. More precisely, the author takes intoaccount the river Acheron river and Styx and tries to highlight the differencesbetween these two kind of water. Acheron is more commonly described as a river ora marsh; on the other side, Styx is represented as a water spring producing a largefall. The article suggest that these different representations reflect different ways ofconceiving the relationships between the world of living and the world of the dead.L’article se propose de revenir sur le thème des eaux des enfers enGrèce, afin de mettre en lumière les catégories émiques qui émergent de l’analysedes sources anciennes, notamment d’époque archaïque et classique.
An Author Verification Approach Based on Differential Features
We describe the approach that we submitted to the 2015 PAN competition for the author identification task. The task consists in determining if an unknown document was authored by the same author of a set of documents with the same author.
We propose a machine learning approach based on a number of different features that characterize documents from widely different points of view. We construct non-overlapping groups of homogeneous features, use a random forest regressor for each features group, and combine the output of all regressors by their arithmetic mean. We train a different regressor for each language.
Our approach achieved the first position in the final rank for the Spanish language
