EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE RUSHDI AHMAD TUAIMAH

The excellence of investigation management is one of the most important reasons for staying afloat in this time. The concept of excellence in education management according to Rhusdi Ahmad Tuaimah is centered on a goal, principle and also a strategy that aims to improve the administration of education and the educational process both at the national and international levels. This study aims to compare the perspectives of Rusdhi Ahmad Tuaimah with the figures. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a type of library study (library research), the data source used is secondary data and the data analysis technique is content analysis. Thus the excellence of educational management both in administration and the learning process so as to achieve the objectives of the process and strategies contained in educational institutions

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

Evaluasi Goal Oriented Evaluation Model terhadap Efektivitas Penerapan Aplikasi AICBT dalam Pembelajaran PAI di SMK Al Imron

Evaluation of the goal-oriented evaluation model on the effectiveness of the application of AICBT application in learning Islamic religious education is an evaluation with continuous, consistent implementation, checking the extent of achievement of goals with the application of AICBT (Al-Imron Computer Based Test) Web-based application which is specialized in evaluating the PAI lesson process which has the aim of obtaining knowledge both in knowing, understanding, internalizing and deepening the value of PAI teaching towards students. This research uses a type of qualitative research through a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in the form of non-participant observations, namely researchers make observations, unstructured interviews, and documentation with descriptive-analytical analysis techniques. The results of the goal-oriented evaluation model on the effectiveness of the application of AICBT application in learning Islamic religious education are very effective. Judging from the evaluation of PAI learning, SMK Al-Imron since implementing the AICBT application has improved very effectively and efficiently on the PAI learning evaluation process to be achieved. This is evidenced by statistical data from 2019 to 2023 today, both from the assessment of knowledge, skills, and attitudes, which have increased effectively (success in achieving goals) to the evaluation of PAI learning

The curriculum is a series of educational activities in the form of programs and schedules of educational activities that are systematically designed. The aim of the Islamic religious education curriculum is to facilitate the learning process in schools, both elementary schools and universities, which is a plan to support the teaching and learning process so that it can become effective learning which consists of a lot of learning material, both general learning and Islamic religious education learning. So it is necessary to know in depth about the types of curriculum which focus on written curriculum and hidden curriculum. A written curriculum is a plan or program that is written in detail and systematically, while a hidden curriculum can also be interpreted as a form of curriculum that is not included in an official plan or program

Improving the quality of pesantren educational institutions through public relations management can be done by developing and applying appropriate public relations techniques. Pesantren educational institutions are traditional educational institutions that have their own management but do not deny changes in the current digital era. Public relations has a very important role in the relationship between two parties both from internal and external segments which aims to improve the quality of pesantren educational institutions. So to create a good communication, a good relationship is also needed by making an institution have solid management in the field of public relations. the application of public relations techniques according to Jefrerson and DeRoche theories where the techniques developed are written, oral, demonstration and electronic techniques. Public relations techniques can combine electronic techniques with written, oral or other techniques. This can make it easier for the wider community to get information, ideas or activity reports that can integrate between the institution and the wider community
