No full textKharaj (land-tax) has been a controversial subject since the formative period of Islamic jurisprudence. It is said that Muslim jurists have been very conservative while dealing with the subject of kharaj. But this is wrong perception or opinion. The Controversy have mainly been revolved around the kharaj-payer's relationship with the land he owned or cultivated. This nature of relationship was necessary, for in circumstances it alone determined what to do with the kharaji land. A host of problems surfaced over the centuries and the Muslim jurists dealt with them differently. The later jurists, specially during the Ottoman period, face situations which did not exist in early period. So they were compelled to develop their own thoughts over a number of issues and in so doing they had to differ from their predecessors. It may, therefore, be argued that the Islamic law on kharaj has never been rigid and static.Land-tax, Land property, Kharaj,Ottoman Economic History, Islamic Economic Thought, Law and Economics.

Berkelayakkan dalam Ijazah Sarjana Pengurusan Perniagaan UiTM Cawangan Sarawak. Sebelum ini beliau merupakan bekas alumni ITM di Shah Alam. Kenangan manis beliau adalah apabila berjumpa dengan rakan-rakan lama yang suatu ketika dulu mengambil jurusan yang sama. Beliau berpendapat bahawa UiTM telah banyak membantu dalam mencorak keperibadian profesionalisme diri seorang pelajar. Bagi beliau UiTM Cawangan Sarawak pula telah menyediakan tenaga pengajar serta pembelajaran yang kondusif serta suasana yang sesuai untuk pembangunan ilmu

Pengumpulan data melalui teknik dekskriptif yang memberikan penjelasan secara terperinci dan valid. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah channel Zahid Ibrahim membantu para penontonnya untuk belajar produktif, pengembangan skill dan hubungannya terhadap kecerdasan intrapersonal.

No full textSago starch has been an economically important crop for Sarawak. It comes in the processed form of sago flour classified into the food grade and the relatively inferior industrial grade. Currently, the export of sago starch is the fourth highest revenue earner of Sarawak in the agricultural sector after oil palm, pepper and cocoa. With an annual world market demand of about 20 million tons of starch, sago only contribute a mere 3% with majority of the share is taken up by corn, potato and tapioca starches
