No full textIl testo è dedicato alla descrizione di due laboratori svolti durante il Progetto di Terza Missione, Paesaggi di Confine, coordinato dalla professoressa Irene Baldriga, nei quali alcuni studenti del dipartimento SARAS hanno lavorato all'identificazione di Paesaggi di confine soprattutto nel contesto romano e, quindi, allo sviluppo di prodotti di valico, cioè di percorsi attraverso i quali riconoscere e narrare il patrimonio culturale della città. Nel testo viene descritto l'obiettivo primario di questi esercizi, cioè permettere l'impostazione di un vero e proprio dizionario, costruito attraverso i lemmi scelti dagli stessi studenti attorno alla città, al suo patrimonio e ai paesaggi in cui varie dimensioni convivono e imparano a conoscersi e accettarsi

Full text linkIl contributo analizza la dimensione del museo quale spazio di rappresentazione e orientamento della memoria collettiva, individuando le diverse forme di ricordo che allestimenti e narrazioni possono innescare, in virtù della loro capacità di evocare, ricostruire, nascondere. Le strategie espositive e museologiche vengono discusse nella loro qualità critica e interpretativa, in una prospettiva volta ad indagare la tensione tra esperienza del patrimonio e consapevolezza storica. Attraverso tre esempi curatoriali emblematici (Time is out of joint, The Shape of Time, Treasures from the wreck of the unbelievable), l’autrice confronta possibili approcci del museo nei confronti del Tempo, rilevandone l’impatto rispetto all’esperienza di visita e alla formulazione di un codice di relazione tra il pubblico e il passato.This contribution analyses the context of a museum as a space of representation and orientation of collective memory by exploring several strategies of memory that both museum displays and narratives can trigger, thanks to their ability to evoke, reconstruct, and hide specific meanings and processes. Museological approaches are discussed in their critical and interpretive potentials, following a perspective aimed at pointing out the tension between cultural experience and historical awareness. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textThe contribution considers the topic of aesthetic education as a pedagogical and cultural strategy addressed to the construction of
active citizenship. The values of identity, participation and common good can be developed through an idea of public space based on the principle of cultural awareness. The dimension of artistic heritage and landscape becomes, therefore, the ideal context to grow competences of citizenship, by enhancing – among others – participative and relational qualities which are deeply connected to aesthetic experience. Considering the concept of “vita activa” developed by Arendt, such interpretation also embraces the visionary profile of the “heterotopia” suggested by Foucault with regards to museums
