Power - Knowledge : Genealogi Kekuasaan Monarki Inggris
Get PDFSalah satu monarki tertua yang masih berhasil mempertahankan eksistensi dan legitimasinya hingga saat ini ialah monarki Inggris. Sebagai monarki paling populer dan paling berkuasa di dunia modern saat ini, monarki Inggris masih terus mempertahankan hak turun-temurun mereka sebagai pemimpin yang sah atas rakyat Inggris, Britania Raya dan alam Persemakmuran. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi monarki Inggris dan kekuasaan yang beroperasi pada Ratu Elizabeth II, Royal Family, rakyat Inggris dan rakyat Commonwealth melalui kacamata Postmodernisme yaitu teori Michel Foucault mengenai relasi kuasa dan pengetahuan. Bak kacamata yang bisa memiliki 2 lensa yang berbeda antara mata kiri dan kanan, peneliti juga akan menggunakan 2 lensa berbeda yaitu disciplinary power dan governmentality dalam bingkai yang sama yaitu sensor panoptikon. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode genealogi dari Jacques Derrida. Diduga ditemukan adanya pendisiplinan secara individu dan masif secara terus menerus untuk mengontrol baik individu ataupun populasi untuk menerima dan mereproduksi pengetahuan dan atau kekuasaan tentang monarki Inggris.

One of the oldest monarchies that still manages to maintain its existence and legitimacy to this day is the British monarchy. As the most popular and most powerful monarchy in today's modern world, the British monarch still continue to maintain their hereditary rights as legitimate rulers over the people of England, United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realm. This study explores the strategy of the British monarchy and the power that operates on Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Family, the British people, and the people of the Commonwealth realm through Postmodernism's perspective, namely Michel Foucault's theory of the power–knowledge relations. Like typical glasses that can have 2 different lenses between the left and right eyes, the author will also use 2 different lenses, namely disciplinary power and governmentality in the same frame, namely the panopticon sensor. This qualitative research uses the genealogical method of Jacques Derrida. It is alleged that there was continuous individual and massive disciplinary to control both individuals and populations to receive and reproduce knowledge and/or power of the British monarchy
Using PADLET Application in Improving the Tenth Grade Students’ Writing Ability at SMA YADIKA Bandar Lampung
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of the Padlet application had a significant impact on the writing ability of Tenth grade students at SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung. In this study, the researchers uses quantitative research. The study technique employed a quasi-experimental design, and the therapy consisted of three encounters. The basic skills of the pupils are ascertained through a pre-test in this approach prior to therapy. The study\u27s target demographic was the tentth grade at SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung. Science One and Science Two were the two courses from which the samples were obtained. The author uses testing tools to construct descriptive stories about historical sites to collect data for pre-testing and post-testing. The findings indicated that the outcomes of creating descriptive prose were impacted by the Padlet application. The increase in the average score obtained from the pre-test results from 60.15 to 78.09 in the post-test results proves this. The results of hypothesis testing, which is 0.000 less than the Sig value of 0.05, also supports it. In other words, the Padlet application affects the students at SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung in the tenth grade\u27s descriptive text writing skills
