    Placement of Entries, Phono-morphological Information and Emotive Idioms in Al-`Inarah Al-Tahzibiyyah Kamoes Arab-Melajoe

    In Indonesia there are two kinds of bilingual Arabic-Malay dictionaries and 26 Arabic-Indonesian dictionaries (1925-2018), but all refer to the Dictionary of Al-`Inārah Al-Thżībiyyah Kamoes Arab Melajoe by H. Moehammad Fadloellah and B.Th. Brondgeest (1925). Based on research (Imamuddin, 2017), the placement of entries and subentries is often not consistent. Therefore, there is an urgency to research and revise the dictionary which is the "parent" of the 28 dictionaries. It is expected that the 28 dictionaries can be updated so that inaccuracies can be avoided. To propose research and revisions to the "parent" work, the factors analyzed are entries and subentries. Phonological information is given to readers so that they know the changes that occur in a word. Al-`Inārah provides this information. Morphological information also provides an explanation of the origin of words in Arabic. Therefore, the analysis will be accompanied by the book entitled Syaza Al-Urf fi Fan Al-Sharf (1980). Idiomatic structure is also presented by the author so that the reader knows that certain verbs must also be accompanied by certain prepositions

    Penelitian ini membahas makna-makna ’amr dalam surat An-Nisa. Kalimat perintah adalah kalimat pertama yang diwahyukan melalui malaikat Jibril kepada Nabi Muhammad dalam surat Al-‘Alaq ayat 1-5. Surat An-Nisa adalah surat urutan keempat di dalam Al Qur’an yang berisi tentang takwa, keluarga, waris dan ilmu penting lainnya. Penelitian ini menganalisis makna ’amr dalam surat An-Nisa menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teori yang digunakan yaitu teori makna ’amr yang dikemukakan oleh Ali Al-Jarim dan Musthafa Amin dalam buku Al-Bala\u3egah al-Wa\u3ed}ih}ah (2017). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ayat mana saja dalam surat An-Nisa yang terdapat ’amr dan apa saja makna dari ’amr yang terdapat dalam surat An-Nisa. Ali Al-Jarim dan Musthafa Amin membagi makna ’amr menjadi 10 jenis. Di dalam surat An-Nisa, peneliti menemukan 101 kalimat ’amr yang terbagi menjadi 7 jenis makna ’amr dengan rincian sebagai berikut: makna h}aqi\u3eqi\u3e 54 kalimat, irsya\u3ed 32 kalimat, du‘a\u3e’ 3 kalimat, tamanni\u3e 1 kalimat, takhyi\u3er 2 kalimat, taswiyah 4 kalimat, dan iba\u3eh}ah 5 kalimat

    As time progressed, various kinds of discoveries in the field of science emerged one by one, especially in the field of Astronomy and its little brother Astrophysics. This opens up opportunities for everyone to research things that have been researched from a new perspective, such as researching the Koran from a science and technology perspective. There are 310 instances in the Qur\u27an where the word heaven is mentioned, and within them, there are various statements regarding the nature, phenomena, and other things related to the sky. With the progress of technology, there is undoubtedly a gap in the interpretation and understanding of these verses. These verses can be examined in light of the discoveries of astronomers. In this research, the researcher examines verses related to astrophysical and cosmological phenomena by comparing classical and contemporary interpretations. The researcher briefly compares classical exegesis with contemporary interpretations. The research method in this study is qualitative, involving document analysis using Arabic linguistic and rhetorical theories. The researcher concludes that there are many verses in the Qur\u27an that can be studied from a scientific and technological perspective. As technology advances, more and more things align with the Qur\u27an as the gap in interpretation is filled by scientific discoveries

    A literary work is a repress entation of a character who lived in his time. A literary work usually represents the feelings and conditions of the writer at that time. Among the productive writers was Sayyid Quthb who had a balanced and adequate educational background, both in terms of religious and general education. Sayyid Qutb\u27s life journey significantly changed his outlook. One of his experiences made him join a group to defend the rights of oppressed citizens. One form of his contribution to this cause was writing the poem "Akhi Anta Hurrun Waraa Al-Sudud" to commemorate the events at that time. This article discusses the biography, education, works, and an analysis of sixteen lines from Sayyid Quthb\u27s poem "Akhi Anta Hurrun Waraa Al-Sudud"

    KOMPONEN MAKNA “IKHLAS” DAN “RIDA” DALAM ALQURAN

    Penelitian ini menganalisis makna kata “ikhlas” dan “rida” dalam Alquran yang dilatarbelakangi hasil pengamatan penulis di masyarakat dalam penggunaan kata ikhlas dan rida. Dalam masyarakat kata ikhlas dan rida digunakan untuk menyatakan rasa rela terhadap sesuatu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis komponen makna yang dikemukakan oleh Eugene Nida pada tahun 1975. Dalam bukunya yang berjudul Componential Analysis of Meaning: An Introduction to Semantic Structures, Eugene Nida menyatakan terdapat tiga bentuk komponen makna, ketiga komponen makna tersebut adalah komponen makna umum, komponen pembeda, dan komponen pelengkap. Dalam melakukan analisis komponen makna terdapat 4 langkah, yaitu: penamaan, parafrasa, pendefinisian, dan terakhir adalah pengklasifikasian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah komponen makna umum dari ikhlas adalah ‘keikhlasan’, komponen makna umum dari rida adalah ‘rela’, komponen makna pembeda dari ikhlas adalah ‘ketulusan’, ‘kejujuran’, ‘keterbukaan’, dan ‘kesetiaan’, komponen makna pembeda dari rida adalah ‘persetujuan’, ‘kesenangan’, ‘kepuasan’, ‘penerimaan’, ‘sanki’, dan ‘perdamaian’. “Ikhlas” adalah aktivitas yang dilakukan manusia hanya untuk Allah dan agama-Nya. “Rida” adalah aktivitas yang dilakukan manusia kepada Allah, agama, dan sesama manusi

    Weak family resilience can cause various problems for family or society. Ideally, building family resilience is also needed society support. It will be more efficient if there is a place where people work together, such as a mass organization. One of the organizations that has contributed in building family resilience is Salimah (Muslimah Association). It is a mass organization of Indonesian Muslim women that focuses on providing solutions to improve the quality of women, children, and families. Salimah has many programs aimed at building family resilience. This study aims to examine Salimah’s role in building family resilience in Cimanggis sub-district, Depok, West Java, during 2019-2022. This research is descriptive qualitative research with literature study and interview methods. This study finds that Salimah’s role includes holding online seminars, conducting studies for majelis taklim, organizing business-related training for women, conducting patient visits to hospitals, distributing aid and donations, conducting workshops for ustadzahs, forming routine study groups for mothers, providing Al-Qur\u27an class for women, forming communities, and providing marketplace for housewives’ entrepreneurs. These roles are Salimah\u27s works to fulfill the five dimensions of family resilience, namely the foundation of legality and family integrity, economic resilience, physical resilience, social psychological resilience, and socio-cultural resilience

    THE DEVELOPMENT DYNAMICS OF FOOTBALL AND ITS INFLUENCE ON CONSERVATISM CULTURE IN SAUDI ARABIA

    This research discusses the development dynamics of Saudi Arabian football and its influence on conservatism culture in that country. Saudi Arabia is known as a conservative country and tends not to be inclusive toward outside cultures. However, in the past few years, Saudi Arabia has begun to open up and be moderate, including in the realm of sports. This research is interesting to discuss because football, which is actually the most popular sport in Saudi Arabia, has actually become a channel for creating a cultural transformation from conservative to moderate. This study aims to explain the history and development of Saudi Arabian football and its relation to the culture of conservatism that has been rooted in Saudi Arabia for a long time. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with library research method. The theory in this study refers to the theory of social change according to John Lewis Gillin and John Phillip Gillin. The results of the study show that football is a channel that capable to transforming Saudi Arabia\u27s conservatism culture into a moderate culture through loosening of prevailing norms such as allowing women to watch football matches in stadiums, establishing women\u27s competitions and national teams, and allowing cohabitation for foreign football player

    LEKSEM MAKARA DENGAN TURUNANNYA DALAM AL-QUR’AN DAN KATA MAKAR DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA

    Penelitian ini menganalisis makna leksem makara yang terdapat di dalam bahasa Arab dan Al-Qur’an, dan makna kata makar yang terdapat pada bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi leksem makara yang diserap ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia tidak memiliki makna ‘menjatuhkan Pemerintah’ atau berasosiasi dengan politik. Untuk membuktikan leksem makara tidak memiliki makna ‘menjatuhkan Pemerintah’, seluruh leksem makara dan derivasinya di dalam Al-Qur’an yang berjumlah 43 tidak memiliki makna tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dan studi pustaka dengan tahapan identifikasi, klasifikasi, analisis, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teori yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah teori perubahan makna dari Abdul Chaer dan komponen makna dari Eugine Nida.Leksem makara dapat ditemui di dalam Al-Qur’an dengan bentuk verba dan nomina. Leksem makara yang terdapat di dalam Al-Qur’an tidak hanya memiliki makna ‘tipu daya’, melainkan terdapan makna-makna lainnya dan makna yang diklasifikasikan berdasarkan subjeknya. Pada saat Pemilihan Umum 2019, makar muncul di dalam pemberitaan media, sehingga dapat dilakukan analisis makna kata makar dengan menggunakan artikel-artikel tersebut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa makna kata makar ‘menjatuhkan pemerintah’ tidak dapat ditemukan pada makna leksem makara yang terdapat di dalam Al-Quran
