Unsatisfaction: Joni Mitchell, Joan Báez, Patti Smith
Since I was a little kid, I learned to associate lightness, repetitiveness and superficiality with music made by women, and quality, seriousness, virtuosity with music made by men. At fourteen years old I learned to prefer Metallica over Julieta Venegas. After a decade of internalizing this, close to finishing the three disciplines that I studied in my undergraduate years and with a more incisive perspective on gender, I glimpsed that there were not women in my music: I only listened to men. Giant, beautiful men that had told stories in six minutes: tragedies, injustices, heartbreaks. Men of Nobel Prizes and worthy of reverences: Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Roger Waters, Lou Reed. They were one-off, which was exactly what made me ask myself: Where are the women? Are there any like them, as big and as searing and as remembered as them? This is a piece, could be a novel befriended to a chronicle, that holds on to three fundamental women in my life: Joni Mitchell, Patti Smith and Joan Baez, in order to tell my own story (that really are a multiplicity of stories). They lend me their lives, their music, their narratives and their lyrics for me to articulate three periods in my life full of music, guitars, masculine figures, borderline experiences and confinement, physical and mental. As they nurture my own narrative, the story of my recent life, if you will, such narrative also amplifies their own universe, their greatness as well as the particularities in each one. The incidence they have in the world is intended to show through the incidence they have in mine. What was it like to be a woman at their time? What was it like to be a woman in music at their time? What do they have to tell us that male imaginaries do not tell us? What are the narratives of these three women?LiteratoPregrad

PERANCANGAN E-COMMERCE DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGELOLAAN USAHA PENJUALAN
Over time, the development of technology in this digital era is growing very rapidly, so that our lives are made easier with the emergence of various kinds of applications. The problem in this research is that the company has difficulty in monitoring sales developments, the company has difficulty in developing markets to other areas, customers must come to the location to buy goods and pay cash. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based sales application for MSMEs. The method used in conducting the analysis is using SWOT while at the design stage using the waterfall method with UML tools. Applications designed to help MSMEs optimize their product sales activities, as well as make it easier for customers to place orders and payments and also increase and expand their business. The result of this research is that this UMKM e-commerce web application can help in monitoring orders, payments, and orders delivery
White metal FG casting ready to be made into a brooch
I thought I was bidding on one item made up of 88 parts. Imagine my surprise when a heavy box came with eighty-eight such pieces. I gather that each is waiting for a hand to paint it and for a pin to be laid across the support mounted on the back. Projector-camera calibration with non-overlapping fields of view using a planar mirror
Projector-camera systems have numerous applications across diverse domains. Accurate calibration of both intrinsic and extrinsic parameters is crucial for these systems. Intrinsic parameters include focal length, distortion parameters, and the principal point, while extrinsic parameters encompass the position and orientation of the projector and camera. A non-overlapping projector-camera system is required in certain scenarios due to practical limitations, physical arrangements, or specific application requirements. These systems pose a more complex calibration challenge because the devices have no direct correspondences or overlapping fields of view, necessitating intermediate objects or methods. This paper proposes a calibration method for non-overlapping projector-camera systems using a planar mirror. The method involves a straightforward process that requires a calibrated camera and a separate mirror calibration step. In this setup, the projector displays a pattern on a planar calibration board, and the camera has an indirect view of this calibration board through the mirror. Using homography, 3D-2D correspondences of the projector are established, enabling the calibration of the system. This method is empirically evaluated using real-world setups and quantitatively assessed in a synthetic environment. The results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves precise calibration across various setups, proving its effectiveness. This approach is an easy-to-use and accessible calibration process for non-overlapping projector-camera systems, made possible by a mirror. This research was partly funded by the European Union
