No full textLatar belakang penelitian ini dikarenakan ketertarikan penulis akan suasana Perang Dunia II di Afrika Utara yang mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dibanding pertempuran lainnya yang terjadi selama Perang Dunia II berlangsung. Masalah utama yang dibahas dalam skripsi ini adalah ‘bagaimana peranan Field Marshal Erwin Rommel dalam Perang Dunia II di Afrika Utara?’. Masalah utama ini kemudian dijabarkan kedalam beberapa pernyataan penelitian, yakni (1) bagaimana latar belakang keterlibatan Jerman dalam pertempuran di Afrika Utara 1941-1943?, (2) apa yang melatarbelakangi Jerman menunjuk Field Marshal Erwin Rommel untuk memimpin Deutsche Afrika Korps?, (3) bagaimana proses pertempuran yang dipimpin Field Marshal Erwin Rommel di Afrika Utara 1941-943?, (4) Bagaimana akhir dari pertempuran Jerman pada Perang Dunia II di Afrika Utara 1941-1943? Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis meliputi pengumpulan sumber, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Untuk memperdalam analisis, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan interdisipliner melalui kajian ilmu sosiologi, militer dan politik dengan menggunakan konsep-konsep seperti peran, status, perang, serta menggunakan teori konflik Lewis A. Coser dan teori geopolitik Karl Haushoffer. Deutsche Afrika Korps dibentuk akibat keterlibatan Jerman dalam pertempuran di Afrika Utara. Keterlibatan Jerman di Afrika Utara disebabkan karena Afrika Utara memiliki arti penting bagi Jerman karena memiliki Terusan Suez dan benteng Gibraltar. Selain itu hubungan Italia-Jerman yang merupakan blok Poros akibat perjanjian Pakta Baja dan Pakta Tripartit membuat Jerman harus terlibat dalam pertempuran. Deutsche Afrika Korps ini dipimpin oleh Field Marshal Erwin Rommel yang dipercayai oleh Hitler karena kepimpinannya dan kepopulerannya dikalangan pasukan Jerman. Rommel memiliki peranan yang sangat penting ketika Jerman membantu Italia di Afrika Utara. Taktik dan strategi Rommel yang jenius membuat Sekutu kewalahan. Strategi yang digunakan diantaranya membuat tank dari kayu untuk mengelabui musuh dan juga memposisikan Flak 88mm dalam bentuk U untuk menjebak tank musuh dalam jebakannya. Proses pertempuran di Afrika Utara ini diawali ketika Rommel mendarat di Tripoli dengan langsung melakukan ofensif mendesak Sekutu menuju perbatasan Libya-Mesir. Selain itu juga Rommel mendapatkan perlawanan dari Sekutu yang melakukan beberapa operasi yang bertujuan untuk memukul mundur Jerman dari Afrika Utara. Operasi tersebut diantaranya operasi Brevity, operasi Battleaxe dan operasi Crusader. Perlawanan Rommel berakhir ketika kekalahan Jerman di El Alamein yang disebabkan faktor kurangnya logistik dan ketidakseimbangan kuantitas pasukan yang dimiliki antara Poros dan Sekutu di El Alamein. Kekalahan Jerman di El Alamein merupakan salah satu turning point bagi Sekutu dalam Perang Dunia II ini dan mengubah arah berlangsungnya perang kedepannya.
The reason of research because author interested with World War II situation in Northern Africa that have characterized be compared another war in World War II. The main problem to discuss in this research is “ How Field Marshal Erwin Rommel role in the World War II in Northern Africa?”. The main problem divided into four research questions, (1) what the purpose Germany includes in battle of Northern Africa 1941-1943?, (2) what the reason Germany choose Field Marshal Erwin Rommel to led Deutsche Afrika Korps?, (3) what is the process that led Field Marshal Erwin Rommel in Northern Africa 1941-1943?, (4) how to end the Germany battle in the World War II in Northern Afrika 1941-1943?. The research uses historic methodology involved Heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. To deepen the analysis, researcher uses interdisciplinary approach through the study sociology, military, and politics with concept and theory like role, status, war, conflict theory from Lewis A. Coser, and geopolitical theory from Karl Haushoffer. Deutsche Afrika Korps formed as result of Germany includes in Battle of Northern Africa. Germany involvement in Northern Africa due to Northern Africa has significance for Germany because have Suez Canal and Fort Gibraltar. In addtion, the relation between Germany and Italy who where Axis due to Agreement Steel Pact and Tripartit Pact makes Germany must includes in the battle. Deutsche Afrika Korps is led by Field Marshal Erwin Rommel and believed Hitler because leadership and popularity among the Germany Troops. Rommel has a very important role when Germany helped Italy in Northern Africa. Tactics and strategy genius Rommel make allied overwhelmed. The strategy used them made of wood tanks to trick enemy and Flak 88m in form U to trap enemy tanks. The process battle in Northern Africa begins when Rommel landed in Tripoli and makes offensive to push Allied towards Libya-Egypt border. It also Rommel get resistance from Allied who perform several operations aimed at repelling Germany of Northern Africa. Such operations include Brevity Operation, Battleaxe Operation, and Crusader Operation. Rommel resistance ended when Germany defeat in El Alamein due to lack of logistical factors and troops possessed imbalance quantity between Axis and Allied. The defeat of Germany in El Alamein is one of turning point for Allied in World War and changing the direction of war in the future

So, this final project will enlighten with more detail regarding the maintenance works for lighthouse. This research of the study will involves marine department of Malaysia as a government organization that responsible to manage lighthouses. The aim of this final project is to investigate the implementation of marine department to maintain the lighthouse and suggest the best design maintenance for lighthouse. To support this research, four lighthouses have been taken as case studies. The data gathered from observation, condition survey and interview conducted at the site. It is hoped that the overall findings of the study will be beneficial for further research that can be developed in this particular area. Besides that, the analysis is made to achieve the objective of this study. Conclusion and recommendation also made in the last chapter to achieve the objective of the study. The author uses descriptive quantitative methods as used to test determines the celebrity endorser influence on consumer buying. The variable x in this study are attractiveness, trustworthiness, expertise and y variables that buying interest Quantitative testing performed by multiple linear regression quantitative test that determines how closely the relationship between the variable x and y variables.

No full textThis research discusses the translation problems of synonymous words in the Arabic novel Al-Hubb Daiman. This novel written by Amil Muhamad Syata, consists of ten episodes and published in 2009 by خوارزم العلمية للنشر والتوزيع Jeddah. In addition to the story, this novel also mentions several events and situations in the city of Mecca and the surrounding area, its food, culture and so on. So, this novel is interesting to be translated into Indonesian. After the researcher translated the entire text of the novel into Indonesian. One of the problems that faced by the author in translating the novel Al-Hubb Daiman the translation of several words that are synonymous. Literally the word synonym is another name for the same thing. Synonym is a phrase which is more or less the same meaning as another expression. The research results that there are three ways to translate synonymous words: 1). Two words that are synonymous translated with one word. The words that are synonymous in this initial step the author found as many as 33 words, 2.) Reduce the words that are synonymous. In this second step synonyms are found as many as 7, and 3). Two words that are synonymous with both. In this step the writer found 8 words. The total number of words synonymous in the Al-Hubb Daiman novel that the author found was 48 words

No full textThis research has 2 objectives. First objective is to explore the concept of ergonomics and second objective is to investigate the awareness of ergonomics among the FSKM students. Data collected includes general respondents information such as age, gender, taken HCI course, Program of studies, knowledge about ergonomics and average hours use computer . Only 60 respondents were involved to conduct this research. Methods that are used in this research is survey and 60 questionnaire was distributed among UiTM Shah Alam students focusing on students from Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Science (FSKM). In this paper, the author used both primary and secondary data in information gathering. The sample design used is probability sampling in which researcher used convenience sampling to collect data. This research shows that the students who have taken HCI courses are more aware on physical ergonomics which is 0.64 correlations. The ergonomics awareness and HCI knowledge are statically significant

Manusia dan motor Honda tua sebagai gagasan berkarya seni lukis, penulis mengangkat tema historis antara motor honda tua dengan manusia sebagai pelaku utama, motor honda tua yang dapat membuat penikmat seni mengenang masa lalu dengan sepeda motor tua mereka, masyarakat dapat bernostalgia dengan cerita sehari-hari tentang kisah klasik zaman mereka, tentang keunikan sepeda motor honda tua yang mereka miliki. Dalam hal ini peranan yang penulis apresiasikan yang mana berupa lukisan pop surealis. Penulis mengambil tinjauan faktual dari seniman lowbrow Alex groos dengan karyanya yang berjudul “Shopaholic ii”, dari seniman tersebut perbedaan yang penulis ambil yaitu objek serta tema, dalam pandangan penulis tema yang penulis angkat akan sangat menarik jika disajikan dalam karya lukis dengan penggayaan lowbrow art, pengembangan gagasan menjadi masalah dalam skripsi penciptaan ini, maka tujuan dari skripsi penciptaan ini ialah sebagai sarana untuk mengembangkan gagasan serta visualisasi dari tema tersebut. Media yang digunakan berupa bahan cat akrilik pada medium kanvas dengan mengguakan kuas. Teknik melukis yang digunakan ialah Teknik opaque untuk mendapatkan warna yang solid melalui pendekatan dengan pendekatan corak pop. menghasilkan empat karya berupa lukisan cat akrilik pada kanvas bercorak pop surealis yang mempresentasikan manusia dan sepeda motor honda tua yang pernah melegenda pada masanya dan masih memiliki banyak peminat dimasa kini, ide visual terinspirasi dari poster-poster jadul motor honda seperti poster Astrea 800, C70 serta Cb100. Karya proyek studi ini berguna untuk mengekspresikan ide atau gagasan penulis tentang tema yang diangkat, baik sebagai pelukis juga sebagai penikmat sepeda motor honda tua. Selain itu, sebagai sarana apresiatif dan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran tentang karya seni lukis dengan tema sepeda motor.

Humans and old Honda motorcycles as ideas for painting, the author raises the historical theme between old Honda motorcycles and humans as the main actors, old Honda motorcycles that can make art lovers reminisce about the past with their old motorcycles, people can reminisce with everyday stories about the classic story of their era, about the uniqueness of the old Honda motorcycle they have. In this case, the role that the author appreciates is in the form of a surrealist pop painting. The author takes a factual review from lowbrow artist Alex groos with his work entitled "Shopaholic ii", from the artist the differences that the author takes are objects and themes, in the author's view the theme that the author adopts will be very interesting if presented in a painting with a lowbrow art style, the development of ideas is a problem in this thesis, so the purpose of this thesis is as a means to develop ideas and visualize the theme. The media used is acrylic paint on canvas by using a brush. The painting technique used is the opaque technique to get a solid color through an approach with a pop style approach. produced four works in the form of acrylic paints on canvas with surreal pop patterns that presented humans and old Honda motorcycles that were legendary in their time and still have many fans today, visual ideas inspired by old Honda motorcycle posters such as the Astrea 800, C70 and Cb100. The work of this study project is useful for expressing the author's ideas or ideas about the theme raised, both as a painter and as a connoisseur of old Honda motorcycles. In addition, as an appreciative tool and as an alternative media for learning about painting with a motorcycle theme.

This report is generated based on the experiences of six months at the project site. This report is divided into several sections and begins with the company background and the background of the construction project. Hatimuda Sdn. Bhd. is a practical place occupied by the author of a six-month observations revealed that the construction of walls and floors of a building by using IBS system is not easy as in thought. It involves many person and the construction process is complex. In this report, are described briefly on the theoretical study, including the types and the advantage and disadvantages of using IBS. Then described in more detail about the methods involved and used in the construction of walls and floors as well as installation of services. During the construction process is on going, some of the problems associated with wall and floor construction to solve the perceived problems identified. No full textThe implementation of Building and Common Property (Maintenance and Management) 2007 Act, 663 Act which is came into force in the aspect of property maintenance and management on 12 April 2007 is one of the latest government’s mechanism in order to increase government’s delivering systems which is to improve development and property maintenance and management matters especially to overcome all the problem that existed all this while in the strata properties. Nevertheless, the execution that just came into force for only 2 years already creates their own problems and need special attention in order to overcome these problems early as possible. Main objective for this Academic Project (PA) research is to look into execution of the 663 Act in general and specially will be focus on the problems that create and exist in the execution and setting up of the Joint Management Body (JMB) due to these entities are just being introduced in the strata properties and also to give the reasonable suggestions that could be taken in order to overcome all these problems. Information are gathered from previous researches, various academic papers, related issued articles, newspapers, journals, internet, professionals and peoples’ opinions who are either directly or indirectly involved in the execution of the 663 Act apart interviews and structured research involving questionnaire form that has been conducted to many of the respondents. The author hope this PA research will be a guidance and reference to the respective parties in order to know how these problems give their effects to the effective and efficient execution of the 663 Act and further could be a reference to these respective parties in order to look the best solutions to overcome these created and existed problems
