TAFSIR AND THE STATE: AN ANALYSIS OF THE VERSES OF STATEHOOD IN TAFSIR AL-QUR’ANUL KARIM NURUL HUDA
This article will analyze the relationship between tafsir and the state in Tafsir Madura, namely Tafsir Al-Qur’anul Karim Nurul Huda by Mudhar Tamim. Mudhar Tamim was one of the politicians during the New Order, so there may be a discourse related to the state. So, this article will try to see how the interpretation of verses about statehood and leadership in the Qur’an through a critical review of the interpretation of Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 30, Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 154, Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 216, and Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 247 as well as excerpts of explanations regarding the virtues of reading basmalah. Through these verses, it will be seen how the socio-political contestation that occurred during the New Order period affected Mudhar Tamim’s interpretation. This research is a literature study with an analytical-descriptive method using Karl Manheim’s sociology of knowledge theory. After looking at the interpretation of the verses mentioned above through Mannheim’s sociology of knowledge, it can be concluded that Mudhar Tamim’s interpretation seems very close to the condition of the Indonesian state at the time of writing, as evidenced by the verses of state defense which are related to the spirit of Indonesian independence and the verses of the caliph which are related to the state leader. However, Mudhar Tamim’s interpretation, especially in the leadership verses, criticizes and evaluates the government. So, it can be said that Mudhar Tamim’s tafsir Al-Qur’anul Karim Nurul Huda is a form of counter-discourse from the Soeharto regime
Analisis Variasi Tafsir Corak Nusantara Al-Iklil fi Ma’ani al-Tanzil: Variation Analysis of Archipelago Pattern in Tafsir Al-Iklil Fi Ma’ani Al-Tanzil
This study is discusses the interpretation of KH Misbah Musthofa works. entitled al-Iklil fi Ma\u27ani al-Tanzil. In this tafsir using the tahlili method and patterns from this tafsir if seen from several opinions have several patterns, but in this writing the writer incorporates Sufistic patterns and al-Ijtima\u27i manners. In interpreting a verse KH. Misbah Mustofa has a lot through ratio (bi al-Ray\u27i). The purpose of this study is for the community to always be guided by the Qur\u27an in life in the world. In addition, this interpretation also criticizes a lot about problems or events that occur in the community.. As the author exemplifies the prohibition of Family Planning or family planning. According to KH. Misbah Musthofa by relating the event to the story of Pharaoh. This study is qualitative with a literature analysis from the Qur\u27an. The results of the study show that the interpretation of al-Iklil fi Ma\u27ani al-Tanzil is one of the interpretations that have an archipelago pattern with its interpretation using Javanese pegon characters. In his interpretation, KH. Misbah Musthofa always explains the meaning of verses clearly and in detail, for example the relationship of a verse with verses and hadiths. However, when listing a hadith narration, KH. Misbah Musthofa did not include a sanad from the hadith.
Kajian ini membincangkan tentang tafsir karya KH. Misbah Musthofa yang berjudul al-Iklil fi Ma’ani al-Tanzil. Dalam tafsir ini menggunakan metode tahlili dan corak dari tafsir ini jika dilihat dari beberapa pendapat mempunyai beberapa corak, tetapi dalam penulisan ini penulis mencantumkan corak sufistik dan adab al-Ijtima’i. Dalam menafsirkan sebuah ayat KH. Misbah Musthofa banyak melalui rasio (bi al-Ray’i). Tujuan kajian ini supaya masyarakat sentiasa berpedoman kepada al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan di dunia. Selain itu tafsir ini juga banyak mengkritik tentang masalah atau peristiwa yang terjadi dalam kalangan masyarakat.. Seperti yang penulis contohkan tentang larangan Keluarga Berencana atau perancangan keluarga. Menurut KH. Misbah Musthofa dengan mengaitkan peristiwa tersebut terhadap kisah Fir’aun. Kajian ini berbentuk kualitatif dengan analisis kepustakaan daripada al-Quran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa tafsir al-Iklil fi Ma’ani al-Tanzil merupakan salah satu dari penafsiran yang bercorak Nusantara dengan tafsirannya menggunakan aksara jawa pegon. Dalam penafsirannya, KH. Misbah Musthofa selalu menjelaskan makna ayat secara jelas dan terperinci, misalnya hubungan suatu ayat dengan ayat dan hadis-hadis. Namun, ketika mencantumkan sebuah riwayat hadis, KH. Misbah Musthofa tidak mencantum sanad dari hadis tersebut
PENERAPAN METODE AT-TANZIL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN DI TAMAN PENDIDIKAN AL-QUR’AN (TPA) PONDOK PESANTREN MAMBAUL ULUM BATA-BATA
The author formulates three problems as follows. First, how to learn to read the Qur’an using the At-Tanzil method at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School TPA, Second, how to implement At-Tanzil method learning at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School TPA, Third, what is the impact of learning At-Tanzil method at TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This was carried out from the determination of the research date until May 8 2024. The results of this research concluded that firstly, learning to read the Al-Qur'an using the At-Tanzil method in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School TPA was carried out to the maximum, starting from the preparation of the asatidz in preparing teaching materials, materials, methods and media used in delivering the At-Tanzil method. This is done with the aim of making learning effective and efficient. Secondly, the implementation of At-Tanzi method learning at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School TPA takes place from the beginning until the learning ends with existing provisions, starting from opening activities, core activities and closing activities. Thirdly, the impact of learning the At-Tanzil Method at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School TPA was clearly visible after the evaluations were carried out, namely daily evaluations, evaluations at the time of the binding, and year-end evaluations. This is done to see the progress of students and to serve as a reference for asatidz to determine whether or not students will continue on the next page or volume.
Penelitian ini membahas tentang: Pertama, Bagaimana pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan metode At-Tanzil di TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata, Kedua, Bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran metode At-Tanzil di TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata, Ketiga, Bagaimana dampak pembelajaran metode At-Tanzil di TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Yang dilakukan dilakukan sejak ditetapkannya tanggal meneliti sampai 8 Mei 2024. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa petama, pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan metode At-Tanzil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an di TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata dilaksanakan dengan maksimal, mulai dari persiapan para asatidz dalam menyiapkan bahan ajar, materi, metode, serta media yang digunakan dalam penyampaian metode At-Tanzil. Hal itu dilakukan dengan tujuan agar pembelajaran dengan efektif dan efisien. Kedua, pelaksanaan pembelajaran metode At-Tanzi di TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata berlangsung mulai dari awal sampai pembelajaran berakhir terlaksana dengan ketentuan yang ada, mulai dari kegiatan pembuka, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Ketiga, dampak pembelajaran Metode At-Tanzil di TPA Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata tampak dengan jelas setelah dilaksanaknnya evaluasi, yaitu evaluasi harian, evaluasi ketika hatam perjilid, dan evaluasi akhir tahun. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk melihat kemajuan peserta didik serta menjadi acuan bagi para asatidz untuk menentukan lanjut atau tidaknya peserta didik pada halam atau jilid selanjutnya
Analisis Komparatif Kitab Tarjuman Al-Mustafid dengan Tafsir Anwar At-Tanzil dan Tafsir Jalalain pada Ayat-ayat Sihir
This research presents a comparative analysis between the Tarjuman Al-Mustafid book with Anwar At-Tanzil's commentary, and Jalalain's commentary with a focus only on magic verses starting from Surah Al-Fatihah, Al-Baqarah verse 102, and Al-Falaq. The research method used is a qualitative approach focused on library research with the main data coming from the books of Tarjuman Al-Mustafid, Tafsir Anwar At-Tanzil, and Tafsir Jalalain. The results of the research show that there is quite a big influence from Anwar At-Tanzil's interpretation and Jalalain's interpretation on Tarjuman Al-Mustafid in terms of the systematic writing and meaning of the verses. One important factor in the relationship with the interpretation of Jalalain is Abdurrauf's intellectual connection with Jalaluddin As-Suyuti, the author of the interpretation of Jalalain. Apart from that, Anwar At-Tanzil's tafsir is also an important reference source in writing this tafsir, as stated on the cover of Tarjuman Al-Mustafid's tafsir. In understanding the magic verses, Abdurrauf is more inclined or agrees with Tafsir Jalalain because it is used as a reference, and is influential when providing a more general explanation.Penelitian ini menyajikan sebuah analisis komparatif antara kitab Tarjuman Al-Mustafid dengan tafsir Anwar At-Tanzil, dan tafsir Jalalain dengan fokus hanya pada ayat-ayat sihir yang dimulai dari surat Al-Fatihah, Al-Baqarah ayat 102, dan Al-Falaq. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang difokuskan pada penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan data utama yang berasal dari kitab Tarjuman Al-Mustafid, Tafsir Anwar At-Tanzil, dan tafsir Jalalain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang cukup besar dari tafsir Anwar At-Tanzil dan tafsir Jalalain pada Tarjuman Al-Mustafid dari segi sistematika penulisan dan makna ayat. Salah satu faktor penting dalam hubungan dengan tafsir Jalalain adalah keterkaitan intelektual Abdurrauf dengan Jalaluddin As-Suyuti, penulis tafsir Jalalain. Selain itu, tafsir Anwar At-Tanzil juga menjadi sumber referensi penting dalam penulisan tafsir ini, seperti yang tercantum dalam sampul tafsir Tarjuman Al-Mustafid. Dalam memahami ayat-ayat sihir, Abdurrauf lebih condong atau sependapat dengan Tafsir Jalalain karena dijadikan sebagai rujukan, serta berpengaruh ketika memberikan penjelasan yang lebih umum

Approaching Literature as a Unique Discourse
Discourse analysis has been a prospective progress of the study that tries to deal with human communication named discourse. From the begining, it has been modeled from lingiustics. Consequently, it tends to ignore certain characteristics of texts that cannot be coped by using linguistic model. In fact, there is a type of such a discourse that has distinctive characteristics that demand a different model of discourse approach, namely literary discourse. This paper is aimed at extramining critically some of the main tenets of discourse analysis and to assess their potential role in the analysis of literature. Initialy, the kind of discourse analysis examined is that which derives from and shares some of the scientific premises of linguistics. It is intended to show these approaches cannot always cope with literary discourse and must lead to a search for some different relation between text and knowledge from that which is currently accepted
Reflection of Rhetorical Pattern in The Introduction of Academic Research Reports
There exists a reciprocal relationship among thought, culture, and language. The relationship is clearly seen in the form of rhetoric. However, rhetoric is different from culture to culture. Certainly, this principle gives a big implication to English teaching as a foreign language. This recent study aimed at investigating the way Indonesian writers establish their rhetoric reflected in the introduction chapter of English academic reports (theses). The study also tried to investigate type of rhetoric of Indonesian reflected in the introduction of English theses. The data were collected by using the technique, namely documentation and text analysis and analysed by the researcher on the basis the scientific writing agreement model especially that is introduced by Swales and Connor & Lauer model. The result showed that Indonesian writers establish their rhetoric reflected in the introduction of English theses in an appropriate manner of scientific writing. Javanese literature, spanning more than a thousand years and extent in hundreds of different worries, is an important heritage of the Indonesian people, but unhappily its study is still at an elementary stage. This study is aimed at analyzing one of the most famous literary genres in Java, Panji story by using the structuralism approach. The tale, which from the subject of this study, has been selected from an especially obscure corner of the Javanese literary field, Wangbang Wideya, middle Javanese Panji Kidung in tengahan meters.
