    Cerpen “Makam” karya Herman RN menarik untuk dijadikan objek penelitian karena cerpen ini memberikan pelajaran untuk menepati janji dan berbakti kepada orangtua terhadap pembaca. Adapun rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini, yaitu respons pembaca melalui unsur intrinsik pada cerpen “Makam“ Karya Herman RN di analisis menggunakan teknis analisis sinkronik eksperimental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan respons pembaca melalui unsur intrinsik pada cerpen “Makam” karya Herman RN. Pendekatan resepsi sastra yang digunakan adalah teori resepsi sastra menurut Hans Robert Jauss.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ialah responden terhadap cerpen dan sumber data ialah 16 siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Longikis. Teknik pengumpulan data merupakan teknik wawancara, teknik catat, teknik rekam, dan transkripsi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode resepsi sinkronis secara eksperimental.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan, bahwa secara keseluruhan responden dapat memahami unsur intrinsik cerpen “Makam” karya Herman RN dengan baik dan tidak ada kendala. Mulai dari tokoh, latar, alur, tema, sudut padang, dan amanat. Siswa memberikan tanggapan yang berbeda-beda pada unsur intrinsik amanat, ada yang memberikan tanggapan mengenai amanah, berbakti, dan pekerja keras pada cerpen “Makam” karya Herman RN. Hal tersebut dikarenakan setiap pembaca memiliki horizon harapan tersendiri berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pengalamannya, bahkan juga ideologinya, maka mereka akan menanggapi sebuah karya sastra secara berbeda- beda.Kata Kunci : cerpen, resepsi sastra, respons pembaca, Herman R

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kritik sosial dan bentuk penyampaian kritik sosial dalam kumpulan cerpen Pembunuh Ketujuh karya Herman RN.Penelitian kritik sosial ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologisastra. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis isi, yaitu dengan tahapan menandai bagian-bagian teks dalam kumpulan cerpen yang memiliki unsur kritik sosial, mengelompokkan data yang telah diperoleh ke dalam tabel khusus yang memuat data dari kumpulan cerpen Pembunuh Ketujuh sesuai dengan jenis-jenis kritik sosial dan bentuk penyampaiannya, mengelompokkan data berdasarkan kriteria yang sesuai, menyajikan data dalam bentuk deskriptif ke dalam laporan penelitian, dan menganalisis data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan menguraikan suatu pokok atas berbagai bagiannya, menelaah bagian-bagian yang ditandai serta melihat hubungan antar bagian untuk memperoleh pengertian yang tepat dan pemahaman arti keseluruhan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kritik sosial dalam kumpulan cerpen Pembunuh Ketujuh karya Herman RNmeliputi: kritik sosial masalah moral, kritik sosial masalah gender, kritik sosial masalah ekonomi, kritik sosial masalah pendidikan, kritik sosial masalah politik, kritik sosial masalah keluarga, dan kritik sosial masalah agama sedangkan bentuk penyampaian kritiknya, pengarang menggunakan bentuk penyampaian langsung dan tidak langsung

    In de wiskunde hebben we bij het modelleren van fysische problemen vaak te maken met randwaardeproblemen. Voor een randwaardeprobleem met een cirkel als rand en een L2- functie als randvoorwaarde, kan deze randvoorwaarde beschreven worden door een Fourierreeks. Hierdoor kan zo'n randwaardeprobleem makkelijker opgelost worden. In dit werk wordt het uitdrukken van functies in Fourierreeksen in R2 uitgebreid naar Rn door bolfuncties in Rn te gebruiken. Eerst wordt er een introductie gegeven in bolfuncties in R2 en er wordt een aantal nuttige eigenschappen van deze functies besproken. Vervolgens worden enkele handigheden voor het werken in Rn genoemd en komen de kwadratisch integreerbare functies aan bod.     In [M.R. Burke, Large entire cross-sections of second category sets in Rn+1Rn+1, Topology Appl. 154 (2007) 215–240], a model was constructed in which for any everywhere second category set A⊆Rn+1A⊆Rn+1 there is an entire function f:Rn→Rf:Rn→R which cuts a large section through A in the sense that {x∈Rn:(x,f(x))∈A}{x∈Rn:(x,f(x))∈A} is everywhere second category in RnRn. Moreover, the function f can be taken so that its derivatives uniformly approximate those of a given CNCN function g in the sense of a theorem of Hoischen. In the theory of the approximation of CNCN functions by entire functions, it is often possible to insist that the entire function interpolates the restriction of the CNCN function to a closed discrete set. In the present paper, we show how to incorporate a closed discrete interpolation set into the above mentioned theorem. When the set being sectioned is sufficiently definable, an absoluteness argument yields a strengthening of the Hoischen theorem in ZFC.     Soil radon (Rn-222) monitoring in a forest site in Fukushima, Japan

    Soil radon (Rn-222) has been monitored since August 2013 at three different soil depths on a campus forest of Fukushima University in Japan, where a large amount of fallout nuclides were released by the accident of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in March 2011. The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate Rn-222 activity level, variability and factors controlling Rn-222 concentration in soil air using data obtained from August to December 2013. Time series of Rn-222 activity concentration showed depth-dependent variability with an equilibrium value (Rn-222(eq)) during this observation period; 7.5, 14 and 23 kBq m(-3) at 0.3, 0.6 and 1.0 m in depth, respectively. Two typhoons passing over the site had a great influence on soil radon level, which was practically used for evaluating effective diffusion coefficient of Rn-222. Transport mechanism of Rn-222 in soil air was considered to be diffusion-controlled with data sets on changing Rn-222 concentration with time in selected cases that showed decreasing (or increasing) Rn-222 concentration with time at every depth. Important factors affecting soil Rn-222 variability are meteorological parameters, low-pressure front passing over the site, and subsequent precipitation. Time lags of decreasing Rn-222 concentration at different depths after rain indicate a certain relationship of Rn-222 level with moving water (and water vapor) in soil. The findings obtained in this study are important to evaluate the fate of fallout nuclides (radiocesium) in contaminated forest sites using soil radon as a tracer of moving soil air

    The mainstream primary classroom as a language-learning environment for children with severe and persistent language impairment - implications of recent language intervention research

    Many UK children with severe and persistent language impairment (SLI) attend local mainstream schools. Although this should provide an excellent language-learning environment, opportunities may be limited by difficulties in sustaining time-consuming, child-specific learning activities; restricted co-professional working, and the complex classroom environment. Two language intervention studies in mainstream Scottish primary schools showed children with SLI receiving intervention from speech and language therapists (SLTs) or their assistants made more progress in expressive language than similar children receiving intervention from education staff. Potential reasons for this difference are sought in the amount of tailored language-learning activity undertaken; how actively school staff initiated contact with SLTs; and the language demands of the classroom. Tailored language learning appears to be a differentiating factor. A language support model, reflecting views of teachers and SLTs about encouraging language development for children with SLI within the ecology of the mainstream primary classroom, is also outlined

    THE STUDY OF THE NARRATOR IN HERMAN RN'S SHORT STORIES

    This study aims to explore and strengthen the concept of narratology as one of the theories of contemporary literature. The study focuses on three aspects, namely the various forms of the narrator, the dominant type of greeting, and the unique characteristics of the work. The object of this study is 38 short stories by Herman RN which were published in various media and anthologies from 2005 to 2020. This research uses an objective approach, with qualitative-descriptive methods and content analysis techniques. The research findings are (1) the form of the narrator in the Herman RN’s short stories consisting of the first-person narrator (55.26%) and the third-person narrator (44.74%); (2) the dominant type of greeting used by the narrator who tells the story by referring to himself as "Aku = I" or "saya = I" (or other synonyms) or by referring to the object being told, such as ‘dia = he, -nya = his, (or the name of the character); and (3) the short stories have not shown certain characteristics that have become a trend in the use of these narrators. The research concludes that the storytelling system of Herman RN's short stories is simple, easy to understand, and consistent with one choice
