    Wisata petik apel kebun 8 sudah cukup lama dioperasikan sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata petik apel di kota batu, yang memiliki peraturan dan informasi terkait area, fasilitas, serta manfaatnya. Adanya informasi yang tidak dimengerti oleh wisatawan menyebabkan kurangnya interaksi antara wisata dengan wisatawan yang berkunjung di wisata petik apel kebun 8. Oleh karena itu wisata petik apel kebun8 memerlukan media informasi untuk dapat berinteraksi dengan para wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi yaitu dengan mendatangi langsung ke lokasi wisata petik apel kebun 8 lalu melakukan wawancara terhadap pemilik serta didukung oleh studi Pustaka yang bersumber dari buku. Proses perancangan sign system di mulai dari pembuatan konsep, pembuatan thumbnail, pembuatan roughlayout dan kemudian dilanjutkan ketahap visualisasi, final desain dan kemudian proses produksi. Tahap selanjutnya yaitu pengujian efektifitas produk melalui kuisioner yang di sebar secara ofline dengan menempatkan sign system pada lokasi wisata, hasiljawaban yang di dapatkan adalah 30 orang yang sesuai dengan target audience, hasil responden yang didapatkan positif yaitu 95.56% dan dapat disimpulakan bahwa sign system ini efektif.Wisata petik apel kebun 8 sudah cukup lama dioperasikan sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata petik apel di kota batu, yang memiliki peraturan dan informasi terkait area, fasilitas, serta manfaatnya. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknik informasi yang menjadikan perusahaan merubah cara dalam memperkenalkan bisnisnya,Adapun tujuan dari perancangan video ini yaitu untuk memperkenalkan profile PT Batugunung Rinjani Jayaperkasa.Perancangan video profil PT Batugunung Rinjani Jayaperkasa Lombok Timur Sebagai Media Promosi, metodologi  penelitian yang digunakan antara lain observasi langsung ke lokasi, wawancara melalui sumber yang mengetahui lebih dalam materi yang dibahas, studi pustaka mempelajari teori-teori yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Maka dari itu dibuatlah “Perancangan Video Profil PT Batugung Rinjani Jayaperkasa Lombok Timur Sebagai Media Promosi”. Dalam pembuatan video profile ini memiliki beberapa tahapan. Tahapan pra produksi meliputi ide cerita, storyline dan storyboard. Tahapan produksi yaitu mempersiapkan alat-alat yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pengambilan gambar. Tahapan terakhir adalah pasca produksi meliputi finishing, rendering. Kemudian video akan di distribusikan ke media sosial seperti youtube.Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah video profil tentang PT Batugung Rinjani Jayaperkasa sebagai media promosi. Dalam hal ini, hasil kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari perancangan video profil PT Batugunung Rinjani Jayaperkasa Lombok Timur sebagai media promosi adalah agar menarik para konsumen untuk berkunjung.PT Batugunung Rinjani Jayaperkasa is a company engaged in the mining of materials, with the aim of developing human resources aspects, because the mine is needed in development. The purpose of the design of this video is to introduce the profile of PT Batugunung Rinjani Jayaperkasa. Designing a profile video of PT Batugunung Rinjani Lombok Timur Jayaperkasa As Promotion Media, used research methodology that include direct locations observation, interviews with familiar sources, literature studies theories related to the research. Thus it was established "Designing Video Profile PT Batugung Rinjani Lombok Timur Jayaperkasa As Media Promotion". In the designing of this profile video has several stages. Pre-production stage is covering a story idea, storyline and storyboard. Production stage is to prepare the tools needed in the process of shooting. The final stage is the post-production that include finishing and rendering. Then the video will be distributed to social media such as youtube.     Batu city is a tourism city located in East Java. Batu city is an icon of tourism city and Agropolitan because it is supported by geographical location in plateau and flanked by many mountains. The distinction made by the Batu City’s government became more developed, when the Batu City’s government provided an information media facility for the community. One of them is a sign system to be information about signboard house number in the form of strawberry fruit in kecamatan Junrejo, Batu City. The uniqueness of the form Sign system also does not refer to the form of its predecessor which contains only text or writing numbers with a simple box frame. Inside the structure of the strawberry sign system the selection of strawberry shape objects as the home identity number indicates that there is an interesting distinction of the object to be studied. Visual semiotics perspective will be better able to dissect the existing sign structure on the strawberry sign system. The sign analysis is referred to using the Pierce tradition with one of the typology of iconic, index and symbols. Using the analysis of typology of signs based on the sign connection with the object referred, so the question of background selection and object selection related not with identity that can represent the city of Batu either the condition of the region, government program or community appreciation.Kota Batu merupakan kota pariwisata yang terdapat di daerah Jawa Timur. Kota Batu merupakan ikon kota wisata dan Agropolitan karena didukung oleh letak geografis di dataran tinggi dan diapit banyak gunung. Pembedaan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Kota Batu ini menjadi semakin berkembang, ketika pemerintah Kota Batumemberikanfasilitas media informasi untuk masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah sign system berwujud papan penunjuk nomor rumah berbentuk buah stroberi di Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu. Keunikan bentuk Sign system juga tidak mengacu bentuk pendahulunya yang hanya berisi teks atau tulisan angka dengan bingkai kotak sederhana. Di dalam struktur sign system stroberi pemilihan objek bentuk stroberi sebagai nomor identitas rumah mengindikasikan ada pembedaan objek yang menarik untuk dikaji. Perspektif semiotika visual akan lebih mampu membedah struktur tanda yang ada pada sign system stroberi tersebut. Analisis tanda yang diacu menggunakan tradisi Pierce dengan salah satu tipologi tanda ikon indeks dan simbol. Dengan memakai analisi tipologi tanda berdasarkan hubungan tanda dengan objek yang diacu, sehingga pertanyaan berupa latar belakang pemilihan dan seleksi objek terkait tidak dengan identitas yang dapat mewakili Kota Batu baik kondisi wilayah, program pemerintah ataupun apresiasi masyarakatnya

    Relaps merupakan hal yang serius bagi para penyalahgunaan narkoba. 65% dari seluruh pasien yang telah menjalani rehabilitasi narkoba di Hayunanto Medical Center kembali menggunakan narkoba atau relaps. Walaupun relapse merupakan masalah yang serius, para pasien rehabilitasi narkoba di Hayunanto Medical Center tidak mendapat edukasi tentang relaps secara penuh karena porsi materi sudah diatur sedemikian rupa untuk tidak membebani para pasien. Solusi yang ditawarkan pada penelitian ini adalah komik Tegar yang diharapkan mampu mengedukasi serta memberikan suatu pembaharuan media yang selama ini hanya berupa buku yang berdominan teks.                 Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa observasi pengamatan sesi konseling antara konselor dengan para pasien rehabilitasi narkoba, teknik wawancara dengan para konselor tentang materi edukasi dan pengalaman para pasien rehabilitasi, serta studi pustaka dari sumber buku dan jurnal. Proses perancangan komik Tegar dimulai dari konsep, pembuatan sinopsis, storyline, dan storyboard. Membuat sebuah acuan model, outline, shading serta lighting, dilanjutkan input balon kata, teks, dan efek suara.                 Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan pada tanggal 7 Januari – 29 Juni 2020, menunjukkan komik Tegar masuk kedalam kategori layak dengan penilaian 86,2% terhadap 45 responden para pasien rehabilitasi narkoba. Dengan demikian, komik Tegar ini dapat mengedukasi pasien rehabilitasi narkoba tentang relaps.Relapse is a serious thing for drug abuse. 65% of all patients who have drug rehabilitation have returned to use drugs or relapse. Although relapse is a serious problem, drug rehabilitation patients at Hayunanto Medical Center do not receive full education about relapse because portions of the theory have been arranged so it will not burden the patients. The solution offered in this research is the “Tegar” comic, which is expected to be able to educate and provide a renewal media that has so far only been in the form of text-based books.                 The research method used was observation of counseling sessions between counselors and drug rehabilitation patients, interview techniques with counselors about educational material and experiences of rehabilitation patients, and literature studies from book and journal sources. “Tegar” comic design process starts from the concept, making a synopsis, storyline, and storyboard. Make a model reference, outline, shading and lighting, followed by input balloons, text and sound effects.                 The results of tests conducted in January 7 – June 29, 2020, showed that “Tegar” comic has the proper category with an assessment of 86,2% with 45 respondents of drug rehabilitation patients.     The Tahilalats advertising comics are a differentiator from works that only aim to convey humorous messages on Instagram. An overview of advertising comics with commercial purposes is interesting because the contents of commercial advertisements for a product become a new pattern of creativity for Tahilalats creators. The object of the problem taken from the work entitled “Surprise” offers a form of negotiation between the aim of being funny and commercial advertising The Ponds Men advertisement is a promotional idea for men’s skin care products which is humorously visualized in ten comic strip panels. The series of panels is a sign structure that will be dissected in order to find the right meaning to show the persuasion message of a commercial product. The accuracy of meaning can be seen from the visualization of the text or aspects of form and context or content as part of the marking system. The marking system will be reviewed based on the sign structure of Barthes’s semiotic theory, namely lexia. The meaning analysis begins by re-reading the nine comic panels into four lexias by naming them based on the logic of meaning, not chronology. In the lexia you will find code categories used as sign dynamic rules according to Barthes based on the perception and culture of the users as interpreters including hermeneutic codes, semimic or semantic codes, symbolic codes, proairetic or action codes, and cultural codes. The code becomes the main reference showing the context in the form of a persuasive message from a Ponds Men commercial advertisement. The context of being funny can be visualized with aspects of character shape, cartoon-style expressions that are simple and simple. The supporting theory is in the form of relays and intertextuality from Julia Kristeva to review the performance of the tagging system based on caption text in the form of titles and descriptions in the Instagram Tahilalats column.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
