    Pompa Sentrifugal merupakan salah satu jenis pompa yang mempunyai lingkup penggunaan yang sangat luas terkait dengan head dan kapasitas yang dihasilkan. Pada kesempatan ini penulis mencoba memaparkan hasil penelitian tentang unjuk kerja pompa sentrifugal bila dilakukan variasi sudut bukaan katup (valve) pada pompa sentrifugal akan menghasilkan head. Sudut bukaan katup (valve) dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui peningkatan performance pompa yang terjadi akibat pembukaan sudut katup (valve). Menambah bukaan katup (valve) pompa sangat berpengaruh terhadap kapasitas aliran air yang dihasilkan, hal ini juga akan mempengaruhi kerja pompa, kecepatan spesifik, daya dan efesiensi pompa. Sehingga dapat diperoleh titik kerja pompa sentrifugal dengan Kapasitas (Q) 0,000733 m3/s, Head (H) 7,02 m, Daya Hidraulis (Ph) 50,501 watt, Effesiensi (ɳp) 16,396%, hal ini dapat terlaksana bila diikuti penambahan daya dari motor penggeraknya.Centrifugal pump is one type of pump that has a very wide scope of use related to the head and the capacity produced. On this occasion the author tries to explain the results of research on the performance of a centrifugal pump if variations in valve opening angle (valve) on a centrifugal pump will produce a head. The valve opening angle is intended to determine the increase in pump performance due to the opening of the valve angle. Adding to the valve opening (pump) is very influential on the flow capacity of the water produced, this will also affect the work of the pump, specific speed, power and pump efficiency. So that the centrifugal pump working point can be obtained with Capacity (Q) 0,000733 m3 / s, Head (H) 7,02 m, Hydraulics (Ph) 50,501 watts, Efficiency ((p) 16,396%, this can implemented if followed by the addition of power from the driving motor

    Pra Desain Pabrik Pembuatan Biodiesel Dari Minyak Kelapa Sawit (CPO) Dengan Kapasitas 200.000 Kiloliter/Tahun

    Pabrik pembuatan biodiesel dilakukan melalui proses esterifikasi dan transestrifikasi. Pabrik biodiesel ini direncanakan untuk berjalan dengan kapasitas 200.000 kiloliter/tahun sepanjang 330 hari per tahun. Pabrik ini diharapkan akan menghasilkan biodiesel untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekspor dan dalam negeri. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pabrik biodiesel adalah minyak sawit mentah dan metanol. Pabrik ini direncanakan akan dibangun di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Provinsi Riau, untuk memberikan kemudahan terhadap transportasi bahan baku dan produk akhir karena pasar untuk kedua produk sudah tersedia secara lokal. Esterifikasi dan transesterifikasi akan dilakukan pada suhu 60°C dan pada tekanan 1 atm menggunakan reaktor alir tangki berpengaduk dengan tingkat konversi reaksi 93% dan 98%. Dari studi evaluasi ekonomi pabrik ini, disimpulkan bahwa didapatkan penaksiran modal (CAPEX) sebesar Rp. 775.781.414.146,87; biaya operasional (OPEX) sebesar Rp. 2.198.585.382.496. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik biodiesel dengan kapasitas 200.000 kiloliter/tahun adalah beresiko rendah dan layak secara ekonomis. Berdasarkan kondisi operasi sifat-sifat bahan baku dan produk, pabrik Biodiesel dari Minyak Kelapa Sawit ini tergolong pabrik beresiko rendah. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi terhadap pabrik ini menunjukkan nilai kekayaan yang dihasilkan (NPV) sebesar Rp 1.154.960.289.580, laju pengembalian modal (IRR) didapatkan sebesar 29% dengan bunga pinjaman 7,95% per tahun. Waktu pengembalian modal (POT) selama 3,74 tahun. Titik impas (BEP) sebesar 23%. Dari data analisa kelayakan di atas disimpulkan bahwa pabrik ini menguntungkan dan layak untuk didirikan. ================================================================================================================================ The biodiesel production plant is carried out through the esterification and transesterification processes. The biodiesel plant is planned to run with a capacity of 200,000 kiloliters/year for 330 days per year. This plant is expected to produce biodiesel to meet export and domestic needs. The raw materials used in the manufacture of biodiesel plants are crude palm oil and methanol. This factory is planned to be built in Riau Province, to provide convenience for the transportation of raw materials and final products because the market for both products is already available locally. Esterification and transesterification will be carried out at a temperature of 60°C and at a pressure of 1 atm using a stirred tank flow reactor with a reaction conversion rate of 93% and 98%. From this factory economic evaluation study, it was concluded that the estimated capital (CAPEX) was Rp. 775,781,414,146.87; operational costs (OPEX) of Rp. 2,198,585,382,496. Based on the economic analysis, it can be concluded that a biodiesel plant with a capacity of 200,000 kiloliters/year is low risk and economically feasible. Based on the operating conditions and the properties of raw materials and products, this biodiesel plant from Palm Oil is classified as a low-risk factory. Based on the economic analysis of this factory, it shows that the resulting wealth value (NPV) is Rp. 1,154,960,289,580, the rate of return on capital (IRR) is 29% with an interest rate of 7.95% per year.     PhDThis study is undertaken on the premise that Islam and Islamic law is to be taken into serious consideration in any future legislative reform of laws in Malaysia. Islam being the religion of the country and the strong religious sentiment of the Muslims (who form the majority in Malaysia) cannot be overlooked or dismissed lightly by the legislators in Malaysia. Reformation of intellectual property laws is timely, as we are now approaching to the dateline set by GATF-Trips agreement which aim is to improve our standard of intellectual property protection. This study seeks to analyze and evaluate the current legislation pertaining to intellectual property in Malaysia in terms of the philosophy and rules governing the existence, ownership and exercise of these rights and their consistency and inconsistency with Islam and Islamic law. The main objective of this study is to prove that a coherent and logical conceptual framework of ownership of intellectual property can be derived from an Islamic perspective which not only offers the basis of rights but also defines the scope of these rights. From the point of ownership of rights, support can be obtained from the normative framework of property rights within the traditional classification of 'mal' (property) and 'haqq al-milkiyyah' (ownership rights) under Islamic law. From the point of exercise of rights, the exact scope can be defined from the analysis of fundamental concepts which have been developed by Muslim jurists. It has been established that Islam and Islamic law offers a sound and systematic paradigm, which in deeper analysis, can satisfy both our current obligations under international treatises, as well as our responsibility to practise our religion to the fullest

    Dalam melakukan publikasi sebuah artikel ilmiah diperlukan beberapa tahapan. Dimulai dari penulis mengunggah draf artikel ilmiah pada sebuah jurnal, editor meminta artikel ditelaah kepada penelaah, serta proses pengeditan dan publikasi apabila draf dinyatakan lolos proses telaah. Terdapat sistem bernama eReview yang mengadopsi proses publikasi artikel ilmiah menjadi sebuah marketplace. Sistem ini memudahkan editor untuk mendapatkan penelaah yang sesuai dengan topik dari draf artikel ilmiah. Namun, banyaknya kebutuhan publikasi artikel, maka sistem eReview yang hanya menggunakan satu server web dan satu server basis data membutuhkan kinerja server web yang dapat memberikan respons dengan beban permintaan yang tinggi serta basis data yang cepat dalam memproses jumlah data yang banyak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan mengimplementasikan penyeimbang beban di server web menggunakan Amazon ELB tipe Application Load Balancer dan basis data terdistribusi MySQL Cluster dengan HAProxy. Penyeimbang beban akan menerapkan algoritma Least Connection dengan beban permintaan didistribusikan pada beberapa jalur koneksi server secara seimbang. Adapun MySQL Cluster menerapkan klaster pada basis data dengan menggunakan arsitektur Shared Nothing Cluster. MySQL Cluster memiliki keunggulan dalam ketersediaan tinggi dan skalabilitas. Implementasi server web dengan penyeimbang beban akan dibandingkan dengan penggunaan satu server web tanpa penyeimbang beban berdasarkan jumlah sampel, rata-rata waktu respons, dan throughput dari pengujian performa jenis load dan spike dengan JMeter. Begitu juga, MySQL Cluster dengan HAProxy akan dibandingkan dengan MySQL Cluster tanpa HAProxy dan MySQL Server menggunakan pengujian operasi basis data delete, insert, select, dan update dengan membandingkan jumlah transaksi menggunakan Sysbench. Selain itu, juga diuji terkait implementasi Amazon S3 sebagai tempat penyimpanan file di sistem eReview untuk menghindari terjadinya kegagalan dalam menampilkan file karena disimpan di lokal penyimpanan server web dengan menguji secara otomatis menggunakan dua skenario yang menjalankan proses penyimpanan dan menampilkan file di sistem eReview melalui Amazon S3. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan, Sistem eReview mengalami peningkatan performa dalam merespons permintaan dan memproses data. Dalam segi merespons permintaan dibuktikan dengan nilai APDEX yang meningkat sebesar 6% dan 9% pada Skenario 1. Dalam segi memproses data untuk operasi basis data delete, insert¸ dan update non index dengan thread 256 dan 512, masing-masing operasi mengalami peningkatan 2% dan 9%, 13% dan 37%, serta 48% dan 90% dari jumlah transaksi MySQL Server. Pada pengujian otomatis penyimpanan dan menampilkan file, kedua skenario berhasil menyimpan dan menampilkan file di Amazon S3. ================================================================================================================================= In the publication of scientific articles there are several stages. Starting with the author uploading a draft of a scientific article to a journal, the editor asks the reviewer to review the article, as well as the editing and publication process if the draft is declared to have passed the review process. There is a system called eReview that adopts the process of publishing scientific articles in a marketplace. This system makes it easy for editors to get reviewers who are familiar with the topic of scientific article drafts. However, due to the large number of needs for article publication, the eReview system, which only uses one web server and one database server, requires a web server that can respond to high demand loads and a fast database that can process large amounts of data. Therefore, this research will implement a load balancer on a web server using an Amazon ELB of the Application Load Balancer type and a MySQL Cluster distributed database with HAProxy. The load balancer will apply the Least Connection algorithm with the request load distributed over several server connection lines in a balanced way. The MySQL Cluster implements a cluster on the database using the Shared Nothing Cluster architecture. MySQL Cluster has advantages in high availability and scalability. Implementation of a web server with a load balancer will be compared to using a web server without a load balancer based on the number of samples, average response time, and throughput of the load and spike-type performance tests with JMeter. Likewise, MySQL Cluster with HAProxy will be compared with MySQL Cluster without HAProxy and MySQL Server using delete, insert, select, and update database operation tests by comparing the number of transactions using Sysbench. In addition, it was also tested regarding the implementation of Amazon S3 as a place to store files in the eReview system to avoid failures in displaying files because they are stored in local web server storage by testing automatically using two scenarios that run the process of storing and displaying files in the eReview system through Amazon S3. Based on the experimental results, the eReview System has experienced increased performance in responding to requests and processing data. In terms of responding to requests, it is proven by the APDEX values, which increased by 6% and 9% in Scenario 1. In terms of data processing for delete, insert, and non-index updates with threads 256 and 512, each operation experienced an increase of 2% and 9%, 13% and 37%, as well as 48% and 90% of the number of MySQL Server transactions. In the automated test of saving and displaying files, both scenarios were successful in storing and displaying files in Amazon S3

In this study, the author places the formulation of the problem, namely how the influence of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on Indonesia's economic development in terms of dependency theory. Then, this research uses the type of research that is carried out by normative research and uses the type of theoretical research (theoretical research).     Islamic law in its history, was applied in the first year of the hijri in Medina by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), on the basis of the constitution of the Charter of Medina. In the muqaddimah it is written, that the Charter of Medina is a product of Islamic legal thought, if reviewed from the social history of Islamic law, then its growth and development began from the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) until now, the change in Islamic law is also influenced by the progress and plurality of socio-cultural and political in a society. In this study, the author uses the Library Research method, which contains theories that are related to research problems. The result of this research is that Islamic Law in Indonesia has become an institutionalized institution including jurisprudence, fatwa, jurisprudence, and laws where its formation is a process of contextualization that is closely related to the social dynamics and local wisdom of Indonesian society. Following the methodological tradition of classical mujtahid scholars, this legal product consistently integrates local cultural values; Local wisdom is even recognized as a binding order. This makes Indonesian Islamic law, especially on the issue of marriage and inheritance, adaptive and responsive, showing a deep appreciation for the social development of the community over time

    Gastroesophageal reflux disease in an area with low Helicobacter pylori infection prevalence

    The association between gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) prevalence and its risk factors in an area with low Helicobacter pylori prevalence is important to clarify. We analyzed the prevalence of GERD and risk factors in an area of Indonesia with low prevalence of H. pylori infection. We recruited 104 dyspeptic patients who underwent endoscopy in Surabaya. Patients were diagnosed with GERD based on the Los Angeles classification. We evaluated gastric biopsy specimens and measured serum pepsinogen levels. Interleukin polymorphisms were evaluated by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism. Of 104 patients, 56 (53.8) were endoscopically found to have GERD, with most categorized as grade A; 48 (46.2) were classified as non-GERD. Higher economic status, smoking, and a history of proton-pump inhibitor use significantly increased the risk of GERD. GERD Questionnaire scores showed a positive correlation with GERD (P < 0.001). An association was found between antral atrophic gastritis and GERD (P = 0.030), and patients with GERD more frequently had severe antral atrophy than nonerosive reflux disease (P = 0.018). We found an association between pepsinogen I/II levels and GERD (P = 0.047), but with low accuracy. IL-1β -511 TT and CT were predominant among the IL-1β -511 genotypes, and IL-8-251 AT and TT were predominant among the IL-8-251 genotypes. In conclusion, we found a high prevalence of GERD in an area with low prevalence of H. pylori infection, which could be associated with acid reflux. Smoking, history of proton-pump inhibitor use, and higher economic group significantly increased the risk of GERD. Copyright: © 2018 Miftahussurur et al.
